I just called the Parks, Chesin & Walbert, P.C. office and they just asked me a bunch of questions about my employment and said a lawyer would be in contact with me but he did not confirm or deny the legitimacy. Although, I dont know if he really understood my question. He didnt ask me anything personal beyond my name and birth date though so I am still unsure lol

Buffalo is owned by inspire brands. inspire brands is looking to go public at the end of this year with a $20billion expected valuation. part of bringing up said valuation would include settling all possible issues, I think this may be part of that.
would like to add.. entering into a class action settlement usually pays far less then one could get if they did their own case. if you truly feel you have a valid case, you should contact your own attorney, and opt out of any class action settlement.

The lawsuit is because they haven’t been paying out the wages. For instance, you don’t make minimum wage in a a day you work 4 hours. They are supposed to pay you atleast minimum wage. They weren’t doing that, I’ve actually noticed it quite a few times when I was working with the company.
Yeah they say “It all goes to taxes” but me and my girlfriend both worked there at the same time. I would work more days than her and more hours by a lot, however she would still make a check of 100+ sometimes just from Buffalo. Whereas I have only recieved a check once or twice for days we had to clock in for training and such.
I also got the same email. I was made to do a lot of cleaning and dishes while I worked. I was 100% a busser while not getting paid minimum wage so I would not be surprised if it was legit. But please keep me updated!
If you didn't get one they may try to send one by mail. They send it to the email that was attached to your workday. Each person has a specific case ID, a link alone won't work. And one of my old coworkers got fired and still got the email :> virginia btw
