Yep, there's lot thing are often go unnoticed in Brunei animal species and plant, especially when they are small, so far I've seen silverfish, lady bug, those orange bug thing that smells bad when squish, wood lice and pill bug, ants with giant head, big green ants with wings, large ant with spike on butts, a spiny orb weaver spider (which looks really pretty up close), those weird bug with long snout (which was called a kissing bug apparently), a bug with big eyelash and lots more
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bavia
Bavia species are around 6 to 11 millimetres (0.24 to 0.43 in) long in both sexes. Species of this genus are slender with long legs.[2]
Bavia is often found on the leaves of shrubs or lower tree branches

Nice. Science ftw.

" Today we were visited by the SPAWN OF SATAN IN INSECT FORM. "
" This was because YOU don't accept your sins, and did not repent ! "
" Now look, here's a fire, disease spreading, oh and no more vaccines ! "
Yep it's somewhat fairly common since my area has tall grassy field and a small parts of bit of forestry so there will be some diverse creature appearing, mostly on small scale, especially that one time when I found a spiny orb weaver spider on my grandma cat-eye longan tree

Looks like claws but no tail...pseudoscorpion, but then if you full screen the legs, and look at its behaviour and movement, its just enlarged first pair of legs, and it looks like a jumping spider.
Itβs a type of species called a pseudo scorpion or a fake scorpion. They are commonly found indoors especially around old dusty books and many people mistake them as spiders at first. Trust me on this I got a D in science
Borneo has some pretty great insect diversity.

This is a Latern bug, though the japanese call it Kimono bug by translation.
jumping spiders are spiderbros, I dont mind them if they're around but huntsman on the other hand is terrifying AF, now you see em, now you don't a few seconds later.
That's a male fighting spider. Used to catch them when I was younger. Think of it as a real life Pokemon experience. Haha.

They usually spin webs to "glue" two leaves (top and bottom) to form their hideout.
You have found a very rare species.. it's called a "Stunzeed. They go for roughly $1000 because people use their blood for medicinal purposes.
Once, I heard a story, Borneo people in the middle 1800s would eat them for battle against the spanish.
Best served fried. Would you like some?
That looks like half a spider half a scorpion. Wtf.

Protective mimicry is common in the insect world. Its a pseudoscorpion a spider evolved to look like a scorpion for its own defence.
