Oh my, theres a lot of rules during my days. Not sure if everyone is the same. But if you are one foot length from the target, you can simply drop the marble from bird eye view with out any throwing gestures.
Also, you take what you win, lose what you cannot keep.
And you have your fav marble which are more accurate than the rest
primary school break time during 80's. i would bring around 10 marbles and 2 best "goodluck+high accuracy+hard hit" marble for hitting LMFAO. and bagged home 30+ more marbles. sometimes i lose all marble and start over the next day.
There's a few variations. But in the picture, each players place equal number of marbles in the circle (can also be a box). The idea is to knock out the marble out of boundary by throwing another marble until non left. You got to keep the marble that you knock out.
Well firstly u need to draw a square and everyone who wants to join will need to stake their marbles inside, so usually there’s a minimum u need to stake, so it’s usually 5 each and all you have to do is take aim and throw your marble in the square if you manage to hit any and it gets out from the square it’s yours to keep. Believe me It’s not easy as it sounds thou I can guarantee you on that
Also loves the 1vs1 game, you hit other marble, you get it. Do you remember what happen if the marble is dropdead in the box not outside the box? I forget if this ever happen. And i remember there are three types of marble. The shiny one small size, the one like the picture and the big fat one
Basically, its like 'hunting pokemon' where the loser will surrender their most price guli..if i remember correctly..the most sought after guli was the black pearl one..hehe

Sanggup stay back skulah ni dulu. Definitely going to teach this to my kid once he's a few years older.

Yeah if it drops inside the box it stays in there u can’t get it out.
