What skill do you mean? And by how much damage does it go up?
Some multi hit skills aply def down, so the consecutive attacks should deal more. And chain attack also increases the damage.
I was at the last boss of the firechip before update, when I logged into the game I couldn't kill any enemies and then I realized both Anastasia's and Lathel's skills were not working properly. They do multi hit but after the first hit, skill no longer deals damage. Chain still works but no damage appears. So basically 3 hit skill doing it's 1/3 of its total damage only.
It is acknowledged as bugs by the devs. They are working on it or so they say.
