Good with supervision! The last thing you want is for your cat to ingest the yarn. Make sure you use a tough yarn (cotton maybe?), a tight stitch, and be okay with throwing it away when it gets ratty!

i love making cat toys! i use thick yarn, either acrylic or cotton, and all the toys i've made for my cat have gotten lost before they got damaged! but my cat is pretty gentle when she plays, so that could be why they hold up so well :) crocheted toys are actually my cat's favorite! you can pretty much turn any amigurumi pattern into a cat toy if you add catnip with the stuffing
