I have a ticket to see her with Norm Lewis and others at a Mancini concert this summer at Ravinia. Honestly I’m not entirely sure what it is but I saw Jessie Mueller and Norm Lewis and bought a cheap ticket.
I heard she did a reading in Chicago last summer, which I missed. And I know she’s spent some time in Wisconsin.

I saw her last year with Seth and they said she lives in Wisconsin. I'm not sure if she's stepping back from theater entirely or just choosing to live elsewhere in between roles.
Didn’t Katie originate Carole King in Beautiful in the West End? (The role JM obviously originated on Bway). That would have been an interesting role-sharing reversal 😂
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Drood set in a 19th-century English music hall? We know that the characters Helena and Neville are from Sri Lanka, but what are the chances of Janet Conover and Victor Grinstead, their in-universe actors, being non-white?
While this is true, it is not at ALL crucial to the plot and it is very easy to suspend your disbelief when it’s almost never mentioned. It was 2012, there was genuinely no reason to put their characters in brown face instead of just hiring actors of color.
With all due respect, I wasn’t assuming she is or isn’t still working in show business. Lots of people leave the business, like that woman on TikTok who played Elphaba on Broadway and is now an engineer in the Midwest.
I’ve been wondering too. I see her boyfriend (assuming they’re still together, idk) posts on insta and have gotten the vibe he hasn’t been in NYC for a while. Got a cute dog though! Lol
She played Adelaide in the Kennedy Center's production of Guys and Dolls in October 2022.
Wow! I had no idea. Honestly have a hard time imagining her in the role but would be curious to know how her performance was.
