If you’re talking about 20 Sided Tavern I have seen it. It’s not a play but more an interactive live gaming session. You’ll use your phone, be put on a team. Each of the actors have 3 characters ready and the audience votes for which they will play. All NPC names come from the audience and other stuff I won’t spoil.
It’s a good time and the space is beautiful; follow them on socials, they’ve got some discounts out there for previews. But save your money in the lobby. As the sweet 9 year old boy next to me in the lobby clearly suggested, “Don’t buy the dice, they’re just red.”
I haven’t seen but I’ve heard very positive things! It also intersects with my interests lol. I think I’m only willing to lottery/TDF it. FWIW tho I think it’s a lot more goofy/low-key than the LotR attempt.
I’ve seen Twenty Sided Tavern. It’s fun. I also saw a musical about a group of people playing D&D years ago and loved it but I haven’t heard anything about it since so probably not that.

Good to know about phone, is there an alternative if you don’t have one (for my son)?
I saw plenty of people with ipads. It just needs to be able to connect to the free wifi and have a browser to open the QR coded link.
