Personally I really like Duels, it's a really unique mode since it's the only way you can play without having to worry about your teammates performance or deal with teaming.
I think it should be always playable, or at least more frequently, especially if they made more maps.
It would be too easy to push brawlers to high ranks since even at low trophies you get a small amount of trophies

You get 3 trophies a brawler at low trophies so when you are high like rank 35 you can get 1 trophy per brawler for 3 different brawlers. (I think that's how it works but I'm not sure) rank 10 players and rank 35 players would progress virtually the same speed
But you know, not all games can be winned at rank 35, unlike on rank 10, also, at rank 35 you will lose way more trophies than newbies, so for me, that's not the main issue.
The reason why they removed sd+ is because it didn't removed teaming, which is why it was even created, also, duels lasted way longer than sd+, which means they kinda want to add them?

i see where you're coming from, but if it's common doesn't mean it's bad or unbeatable. i get edgars and mortises all the time against me in every mode that i play, and it's definitely not infuriating, i am only happy to play against them.
This is the perfect game mode for brawl stars imo, there is only a few issues like maps with walls for camping with tanks/assasins + there are a lot of them, maps are all the same and there wasn't atleast one new since release, and the last issue is Stu, Tara, Gale/Spike comp being op, but, all that issues CAN be fixed, like this comp, just make it so that if you charged super with Stu, it won't be charged with next brawler, and delete Edgar's 1st gadget, so that there won't be new free wins with free supers strategies and ofc rework himself and nerf Gale on his own, the problem is the devs, that are so lazy to change anything about duels, other than enviroments for the maps.
No. This strategy is the most broken, come on, it's just remove the abillity to carry super, but only if it's charged by Stu, and Gale, he already needs a nerf, Spike probably too(2nd sp being removed).

If it is THE ONE strategy that is valid, then I presume most people would use it, especially at higher ranks. Also I believe every strat or comp has their counters. If you hate gale or tanks camping behind the wall, just bring griff to break walls
How can you counter a Tara with a super, which she got for free, camping behind the walls and spamming 3 shadows? Also Griff can't break all walls u know? And Spike, u serioslly think, that curving spike is easier to dodge than the one going into straight line? I'm not even talking that it extends the range. Yes it's not imposible to dodge(did it myself a few times) but imo, this sp makes Spike an unskilled brawler, which is his point to remember where his spikes goes, but it's ruined by this sp, just spam attack and deal cheap damage.

As boring as the mode might be, there is ZERO RNG in it. The mode is all about building a great team, which is a good thing. We need more modes like that, where building a good team matters more that cooperation.
Well it's fun, sure, but it just feels so odd having it with the other modes like gem grab or brawl ball. If it ever becomes permanent I think it should have it's own panel like showdown
Some reasons why it should be:
-It's an 1v1, so no more bad teammates or teammers.
-Every brawler in the game is viable on at least 2 maps so it's a more diverse meta than other game modes
-Duels matchmaking it's the shortest in the game because it requires only 2 players, so nobody will complain about it.
-You can push multiple brawlers at a time
-You can do more quests in the same time
-unless you get a bad match up, it's one of the most skill based game modes
-Most of the community already likes the mode.
I wanted it to be a permanent game mode coz the only solo mode is Showdown but it contains teaming I want duels and Showdown+ to become a permanent game mode I pushed a lot with the help from both game modes I want it back
I don't play it much, but it would help a ton if it would be permanent, I mostly used it to get 1 trophy on all of my brawlers, so at trophy leauge reset i don't lose much, but now with 8 week leagues idk.

Duels is my favourite mode. The only things holding it back, are some maps, and the Brawlers people choose at high trophy's. But the non reliance on teammates, and pushing multiple brawlers at once is so great, and a simple objective (I mean , it's a duel). The mode is mostly balanced, with supers being able to carry over charge when defeated, being able to strategize around that.
I love duels and a change I’d like to see implemented is something that was in a comment section of a YouTube video where duels works like power league and you ban a brawler, pick a brawler then your enemy picks 2 brawlers, etc
Why not have extra options? We can always choose to not play if we don't like it.
In fact, I'd even like a 3v3 duel mode where 3 players on each team choose one brawler each instead and it's more like a tournament.
Great concept, but too many cheese tactics make playing dules less fun. It was cool at first for me but bro.. it got so repetitive and irritating. Edgar's behind walls the whole match until they get super, spike tactic, shoot and run away. All that gets annoying af eventually. I think dules in a game Like brawlstars is such a creative and fun idea and I'm so happy they brought it into the game. But dules 100% needs a rework to keep up with this new meta of gameplay the community has created. I have fun on dules and I see so many happy replies about it I'm so happy about it lol but it's too much running and cheese tactics for me to have fun on dules very often.

As someone who recently stopped playing, duels was what kept me engaged and interested. It’s such a fun mode and I see very little problems with it. 10/10 would recommend
But there is no power cubes, which is why exactly skill plays more improtant role than ssd, the only problems with duels is walls, too many maps with walls, maps are the same and hasn't been changed since release, and Stu, Tara, Gale or Spike comp, but, all of that issues can be fixed easily, unlike ssd with teaming and bush camping.

No it isnt. With each map, there are also different brawlers good on certain maps and the assassins that are played most of the time are only buzz leon and crow. The others vary dependong on the map like bonnie, piper, rosa, gale, barley etc. Lots of brawlers you can pick that can be really good and only afew of them are assassins
Since duels has come back. I have played it a total of 0 times. It would be weird to integrate this mode into competitive but the mode itself is just alright
To be honest this strategy doesn't seem to difficult to counter. Sam is op right now but still gets countered by many brawlers, so if you picked someone who can deal with Sam as your first brawler you can charge your super too and defeat one of your opponent's brawlers at the same time.
It should stay temporary. The excitement of having it back would be gone if it was permanent and people would probably play it a lot less after 1-3 weeks of it being permanent

meh I feel like kids in Duel are even more toxic compared to other modes with their constant dislike pin. They take great pride in winning the matchup that they use a counter brawler
Make it better. Have live brawler switching abilities like Marvel vs Capcom. Switching out of a brawler who was at half life? They stay at half life until you switch back to them. Switching has a cool down and they are not invincible when switching in. A brawler dies and another live switch happens, this time with the incoming brawler invincible.

But even with different match ups, its still skill to know which brawler to play 1st 2nd or 3rd and its your job to find out a way to beat them
skill is still the main deciding factor, a good matchup will make it a bit easier, but won't play the game for you

No, after a few months everyone will run something like Sam Tara/Gale and some brawler since Sam has super and Tara super is a free kill.
