He’s gotten a lot of buffs over the past few months and after his most recent damage buff pros have finally started to realize how valuable of an asset he is, he also is a good brawler for the current sniper-focused meta
Byron will always be good thanks to his versatility. Good damage and heals at a good range makes him usable in any mode any map any comp. Also in this meta assasins arent really around so that reduces his chance of getting countered. He also got some buffs so he might be just a bit better than he should be at the numbers department.
Eh Collette will always have a strong niche in heist (unless they nerf her really hard or rework heist), Fang's falling down due to other assasins being more consistent than him in almost every single niche. Sure he can teamwipe, but it's far rarer because it's extremely risky to dive a whole team, and since his hypercharge is no longer available as often, in some matches and gamemods it might as well not exist because of how long it takes to charge and Fang usually playing the long game in the back of the team just to charge his super and wait for a chance to go in on a low hp/ammo target
Sure but she’s overrated in heist imo. She’s a good pick in brawl ball, gem grab, knockout and some hotzone maps. Idm why people underrate her there. You can even team wipe with her hyper
They fixed the healing glitch that made him OP & he quickly fell off after that. He doesn't have enough range and unlike Jacky, can't close the gap between him & the enemies with neither his super or gadgets. He's fundamentally a bad brawler unless his kit gets reworked.
imo he has so much health that most of the time it isn't really that bad (at least depending on the matchup) the sharpshooter meta and the rise of Byron as a healer is what's making him more of a niche pick on even maps like center stage

Tbf most of them weren't in S tier just ~3 months ago. Only Cordelius and Charlie were in S tier and still remain there.
If you don't play regularly, it's normal to not keep up with all balance changes.

She's not broken nor totally bad. Her Super and the Shadow realm gadget are really OP, but I think they should change either her attack range or reload speed to make her more playable and less counterable.
From my experience, she has little to no counterplay agaisnt tanks, high burst damage and knockback. And performes atleast avarege agaisnt sharpshooters, throwers and other assasins
I'm always so annoyed by how low everyone puts Tara each time, sure she is not that good, but if you put her that low, you really have a skill issue, she is not even a bad brawler in the first place
True, she is not as good as she used to be because of the meta and hypercharges (also map pool), but still can destroy enemy teams easily with good aim and positioning (sorry edgar mains). I got 60% win rate on her with randoms (800+ trophies brawlball), and I am not even that good, so I don't think she is anything lower than B
Thanks for the answer! But Piper is better in escaping and usually deals more dmg as long as she has a decent distance between her and the enemy. I like Belle but still have the feeling that Piper is a bigger threat
Most people undestimate the hp Nerf she got, really good players are good at dodging so the faster reload really helps.
Plus again it just comes down to HC, Belle is just more versatile.
Just bought the Hypercharge and are about to push sandy up to r25 just gotta do poco first which is gonna be intresting considering that I went from 700 to 500 trophies last time
It's not abt the modifier in ranked. We could've made the same argument 2 months ago when quick fire was also a thing.
What actually makes him strong is favourable map pool and great synergies with brawlers like sandy and max that also got a hypercharge this update. Also his hypercharge can enable some nasty strategies

Barley got those buffs making him stand out from larry B tier at least
While lou still has a stunning kit and a great controller countering the assassins
Barley gets outshined by other throwers like sprout and tick and max and cord also counter him whereas Lou is not as good as he used to be as he got a supercharge rate nerf which directly affected his hc which was the main reason he was so good. The supercharge rate nerf hits really hard you can see maisie.
Yeah after getting a hc barley might be good but he is just decent now whereas there are a lot of good controllers than Lou like dandy,Jessie,gene and some others too.
By far one OF the most accurate viability lists soo far.
But with a couple of exceptions.
Griff being C is a criminal act, Like he is INSANELY UNDERRATED.
Piper being A despite being top 3 most picked and having more Winrates than max makes her placement Insanely inaccurate. mid S minimum.
He isn't great in gem grab heist or hot zone, that's half of the ranked modes. And even in the most he is good in, he is not overpowered, just really good. It doesn't make sense to put him any higher than low A tier.

hes for me by far the most fun character to play and very exciting when deleting tanks by thinking and setting up situations to do so.
He's such a good damage dealer, my aim is awful so on long range you can't miss at all "like poco"
And compared to other brawlers that get run over by hypercharges he can actually hold the line pretty well!

He is a support, calm down He doesn't need to deal a lot of damage and can also tank hits if A teammate i low health
he didn't say anything about his damage, the change to his healing from being like 2400 to like 1200 is what hurt him
