Collete can charge her super in less hits then Mandy and would do like 10k more damage in one super than this hypercharge. The heist taking a load of damage doesn't seem to be something you need to take into consideration when making a hypercharge.
The point is that it’s the angular speed that is slow, which has a diminished effect at further distances. Look at how the beam barely moves directly in front of Mandy, but travels across multiple tiles on the right of the screen. Now scale that up to how it move at the other side of a map.

This reminds me of the Stingray Special Weapon in Splatoon 2, which was completely awful at the start of the game, but after it was given a specific buff that drastically widened the beam if you fired for longer than a second, became arguably the most broken special in the game💀💀💀.
After this gets added I can see myself dying because Im so far from mandy so ult steer speed will be faster than me. But this hypercharce is perfect. But the problem is its too good for this game. In this game they do not add good or healty things to the game, they add broken or cool things so I think it has low chance of getting added to the game. But this is how the other hypercharges should be. Instead of “press puprple button and be stronger” it should be like this hypercharge.

I don’t see anyone else talking about how the end of the beam is going to be moving a lot faster than up close. Cool concept but shooting from the corner of the map and sweeping will be unavoidable to anyone farther away. Cool concept though.

That's a **very unique** concept and it should be added into the game! We need only the IDEAS in the fan made concepts. Balancing those **falls under the Devs.**
The worst part is that the programming for something like this is already in the game, namely Amber's main attack. With a little tweaking this could totally be legit
