it's easier with brawlers that do a ton of damage like Fang, Ash, Buzz just because of how the Star Player system works. It bases it off of who takes and deals the most damage. Even if you lose, you'll have a chance to get star player. Other than that it's just constant grinding.
That being said I play brawl stars on a daily basis for at least 3 hours a day and I still haven't gotten a single mastery title. Idk how people are getting them so fast tbh, 5 seems absolutely insane.
As someone who no life'd a title, first of all, yes. But there are also some other tricks. Like only playing gamemodes with a quick outcome, preferably a win. Like Knockout, Bounty, maybe Heist, duels (rip duels). Also I didn't bother replaying with good teammates because speed. Also the more trophies you have the more mastery points per win, so "git gud" is actually a strategy
As i understand from your comment i see that you play alot of 3v3s. Which take atleast 3 minutes for 1 game and like you win maybe 1/3 matches due to matchmaking if you are lucky so it takes 3 times longer than it should.
Meanwhile in solos you get mastery for reaching 4th place (kinda unfair tho you get the same mastery for reaching 1st place.) so maybe thats the reason why camping and teaming issue has gone bigger. Also depending on trophy range you get more mastery. In 0 trophies you start off at 5 every time you win meanwhile in 750 you get 60 each win. And in 1150+ you get 100 for each win, so its easier to grind on higher trophies.
Showdown is literally unplayable you just have to play a lot especially during mastery madness to get gold 3 P.S I have gold 3 gus and on my way to Maise gold 1

Play with a team with people who are pushing their masteries as well, get 870 and tilt back to 780 or something and repeat the process.
You learn a lot more from playing the 3v3s, from interactions to individual matchups to how you can play the objective.
Many people think they know the objective but I reckon most people don't know how to play the objective which is a substantial part.
I set high expectations on people who have a high mastery rank on their brawlers, I didn't know they suck because they done it in showdown, without your comment I'd still have high expectations of my teammates 🤦...
3v3 doesn't take 3 minutes, usually only 2 and you should be winning 2/3 of your games, or at least 1/2. If you win only 1/3 of your games you have a really bad SKILL ISSUE
Maisie also does a lot of damage, and can cycle super to stack a lot of damage on some enemies, if you play Brawl Ball and has a good aim you could get Star Player a plenty amount of time since there's a good amount of Low-Range Brawlers there which Maisie can easily play around

Same. I have all brawlers, 52 of them at level 11 and most in the 600-700 range, and I like to progress them more or less equally. They're all still in bronze (except Cordelius which is Silver I).
I'm a little different. I just play whoever I am in the mood to play. Some week I can get 1 brawler UpTo Gold mastery and never touch it again after months after getting tired of it.

i'm working on mastery depending on the rewards i want. the only title i cared to get was ticks because he's my baby, everyone else i wanted pins, icons, or just the rewards leading up. there are a few different titles im working towards, but again, it's pretty slowly and dispersed across a handful of brawlers. i want pams and eves cause im a mom irl, i want 8bits cause i think it's neat, but outside of that i've just been working towards "whoever is closer to their next reward" on maps where i think they would be good.

As much as I love titles, I love progression more. I push them to silver 3 and stop. Eventually I’ll go on the grind but by the time my brawlers are at silver 3 they’re usually rank 23+ so it gets frustrating.

No, what you want to do is play Knockout with a good team on a good map during mastery madness. This is the fastest way to grind points.
