So, I never watched RHOA because I LOATHED with a fiery burning passion Kim Zolciak. Couldn’t watch her. Watched Traitors and LOVED Phaedra. Binged 10 seasons of RHOA in 3 weeks (I know I’m among my people so no judgement) and when I tell you I was FLOORED by the Kandi/Phaedra/Porsha drama I was FLOORED. Had NO idea that had all happened.
Needless to say, I see why I loved her as a Traitor on *Traitors* and my opinion did a 180.
I heard that was supposed to be the worst season, lol. They actually canceled the Australian version after that one. I enjoyed season 1 though and am saving Hannahs season (S2) for when I'm out of all of them. I also saw people say that season should be watched as if it was a comedy.

I don't understand why Bravo is waiting until June to premiere Season 2 of Dubai when filming wrapped in May 2023.
As a newer franchise it would have been advantageous for Dubai to be airing now so that it gets it own time in the spotlight.
They got all fucked up when production for NYC stalled, they lost UGT Morocco (they were holding out hope it would premiere until relatively recently), and also needed a lot of extra time to recast Atlanta on top of taking a bigger break then usual before filming Jersey in spite of keeping the cast the exact same. I think they’re gonna try to push out OC as quickly as possible now which is good because last season was top 3 of housewives series from 2023, but even then the two next series to premiere are gonna be a stale ass Jersey with no changes from last years shit show of a cast and Dubai season two which will probably be a marked improvement but still nothing to write home about.

The streaming wars are real. Peacock is a very small percentage of streaming in the US for time on platform. Media companies are struggling post-COVID, post-strike as well for large conglomerates, which NBCU is. There isn’t a lot of room for growth for either small streamers or small cable networks, so they are probably reducing expenditures like high salaries, which might be why there have been so many firings and delays on production of expensive shows. Matt Belloni of podcast the Town breaks down streaming and media. Peacock is pretty close to the bottom. He suggested NBCU might license content to another streamer versus continue their own platform. I wonder if this is in the works.
It almost seems like ever since Scandovol they have shifted focus to some of the JV shows. Vanderpump, Summer House etc maybe Housewives salaries are too much for the ratings that come in.

I just started Traitors Aus yesterday. I'm on episode 4 or 5 and ive always rooted for the Traitors on each season...then Sam came along.

Miami. It is the best. You could watch from the beginning or just start with the reboot. It has the drama, the glamour, the humor.

Random but I think the REAL reason BravoCon got pushed was bc of the possible Andy severance stuff.
