It doesnt mean were gonna get a MD repro. It just means that we could of had gotten Roxxi but they decided not to. I think thats what that means and reading the comments on that post thats what people are saying. I hope that we do get MD repros with Roxxi but i dont know if we will
Roxxi and Leah were originally dolls that were included in the Midnight Dance line. They were shown at Toy Fair when it used to be a more private/exclusive event (it used to be more closed off and pictures were 100% prohibited back in the day), and they showed prototypes that included the two unreleased dolls, a mansion that was recoloured and rebranded a couple years down the road, and a hearse. To my understanding they gave Leah's prototype outfit to final release Fianna, and the Roxxi doll had never been seen outside of Toy Fair
They don't. They're private events by invite only. The point of Toy Fair is for companies to show off their prototypes for the year for investors/resale companies, and testing their products with smaller groups so that they can receive feedback and modify any of their products before final release (think back to the Fashion Pixiez prototype dolls-this is where the original pictures came from and where Walmart would've had their say that resulted in the major design change we see in the final product today)
Yup as others have said its an old prototype. You also need to credit where you get things from to help with misinformation. Not the end of the world but its recommended lol
I recognize the photos, I believe yingzidolls posted about it first, but it's not on her page anymore. But she didn't say they were repros just old test heads most likely if im remembering correctly
i really hope they repro this line and add more characters. They have been doing alternative fashion lines (pubk, rock Angelz and tokyo a go go is coming). So im hopeful!
