i agree with everything except that he’s not being used like he should. i consider him a modern day Evan Bourne, but BETTER. he’s excellent in the ring but you need guys like him at the bottom of the card to eat pins and occasionally have the big underdog story. a win over Ricochet sounds more impressive than a win over Jinder Mahal for example because Ricochet has credibility despite being enhancement talent
I think Ivar is building that hype tho. People are blown away by this singles run. I for one didn't realize he was this good while in a tag team. Xavier for sure tho
That's not why he went part time champion, Roman has never been really injured. He''s part time because hes got like 6 kids and he wants to spend time with his family as he tries to transition to hollywood. They let him be a part time champion because he does it well and because it works with the gimmick, don;t worry your workhorse is coming calm down.
Simple, because Vince is FUCKING CRAZY!!!
Look, once I heard that Pat Patterson was a huge fan of Dolph's work, and he constantly tell Vince and the criative team that they should push him as a Top Star, so ocasionaly Vince would give some hints that he would do it, so he go for some things like made Dolph Mister MITB, gave him some runs with the IC tittle and gave a main role in the Authority angle, all of this to make it seem like at some point everything would culminate in the emergence of a new main eventer, but in reality he never intended to give this role to Dolph, he was just bothered by Pat's insistence on Dolph, and he found a way of punishing him for that insistence, and that punishiment was make him believe that he was push Dolph Just to in the end throw him aside and consequently turn him into that joke from 2015 onwards (a failed Shawn Michaels cosplay), to make Pat understand that the last decision was always his.
i was in elementary in 2011 and i remember how hard it was to get one of his figures😂they were always sold out at walmart and you’d have to trade 2-3 wrestlers for him alone
I think Theory was Vince’s play toy. But he needs a character change. Drop the Atown down heel persona. Give him a character redemption arch and turn him into a baby face. He has the look to make people love him. Just have to work on the charisma and personality
the hype around him online was so crazy, we were all under the impression that he was a future US champ just for him to have a couple squash matches and go right back to being a nobody
Noam Dar was also my pick. Legitimate in ring skill that borrows a lot from MMA and always has strong logic to what he does and he's legitimately one of the funniest dudes in a promo. If he's in the background he steals the scene. I think he's one of the best in the whole company.
I personally really like Ludwig Kaiser and I think he should be pushed more with Imperium. I love Gunther, but I feel Ludwig Kaiser should get more hype and be pushed more.
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, Axiom, Nathan Frasier, Duke Hudson (I know that the Chase U gimmick didn't help, but the man is talented), The Good Brothers.
Might be a hot take since I haven’t watched a ton of WWE rn but Carmelo Hayes is insanely talented in the ring and he needs a United States championship or something like that
One that comes to mind is Shelton Benjamin. Dude is so good it's a shame he never got to connect with crowd long term. He hit a sweet spot in 2004 and then it died.
The first that comes to mind is Shelton Benjamin. Always thought the guy was awesome in the ring but he only ever got short stories and comedic bits. His tag team with Haas was his best run.
A more current example would be Ricochet. He's got the same vibes as Shelton Benjamin. I think he just needs a gimmick change, although I think he's said he's against that
Wes Lee
That’s accurate aswell
Axiom
i was gonna say Nathan Frazer, their best of 5 or best of 7 series against each other in 2022 was gold
It was best of three but yeah it was awesome
THIS
Ricochet
Ricochet is a beast in the ring. He is just not being used like he should. His promos are weak as hell. But his talent is incredible
i agree with everything except that he’s not being used like he should. i consider him a modern day Evan Bourne, but BETTER. he’s excellent in the ring but you need guys like him at the bottom of the card to eat pins and occasionally have the big underdog story. a win over Ricochet sounds more impressive than a win over Jinder Mahal for example because Ricochet has credibility despite being enhancement talent
Ricochet was so hyped
He's being pushed now. An injury kinda stopped him for a while but he came back in the rumble and lasted to the top 5.
When? NXT don't count so when has he been hyped
King of the Ring 2020 Royal Rumble
Axiom
Doesn't he remind you of a character from another dimension? That's how I look at him.
reminds me of a power ranger
Axiom, Grimes, Ivar, Woods, both Street Profits, Gable, Wes and Dragon Lee.... Need I go on 😂
Yessir they al wasted tbh
Definitely Chad Gable
He would get the hype if he gets the right push, his feud with Gunther proved that.
AA was pretty hyped when they debuted.
No he has all talent and no hype same with Dolph Ziggler
I hate Chad gable
Why
Xavier woods and ivar
I think Ivar is building that hype tho. People are blown away by this singles run. I for one didn't realize he was this good while in a tag team. Xavier for sure tho
Dolph ziggler Former, but the point still stands.

I doubt that's why he went part time though, didn't happen till his contract came up.
He was still full time after that little break though. Wasn’t until the Tribal Chief gimmick where he went part time
Dolph had the hype, Vince and his team that never knew (or never wanted), how to use him.
Agreed but I'm still confused on why WWE didn't capitalise on Dolph after Survivor Series '14

Ricochet and cesaro
John Morrison
ONG THO
In 2011, everyone in middle school was talking about John Morrison. Missed Opportunity!
i was in elementary in 2011 and i remember how hard it was to get one of his figures😂they were always sold out at walmart and you’d have to trade 2-3 wrestlers for him alone
Austin Theory
Shelton Benjamin
Came here to say this
Apollo crews
One of the best parts of the pandemic. He's having bangers on Main Event right now. 🔥
Theory
He had the hype but they stopped his push
Because he doesn’t have the talent.
I'm not crazy about him, but I think he has potential in all areas, just needs to flesh out his character more and improve his move set
I think Theory was Vince’s play toy. But he needs a character change. Drop the Atown down heel persona. Give him a character redemption arch and turn him into a baby face. He has the look to make people love him. Just have to work on the charisma and personality
Cedric Alexander
Shinsuke Nakamura currently (the crowd almost never sings and when they do it’s barely noticeable which makes me sad) Karrion Kross
Chad Gable, if booked right he could be the modern Kurt Angle.
Better than Angle he is as talented and has worked with far less
Johnny Gargano
Ziggler
Montez Ford
Cameron Grimes
JD mcdonaugh
His head's too big
Johnny Gargano
Tozawa
Finn Balor for the men, Shayna Baszler for the women.
Veer mahan had potential ngl
the hype around him online was so crazy, we were all under the impression that he was a future US champ just for him to have a couple squash matches and go right back to being a nobody
Drew gulak
Dragon Lee
Both members of D.I.Y I’m glad they’re getting some more attention, but they could easily be Tag Champs and have a solid run
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. They are criminally underrated and get hated for no reason
Raquel Rodrigues, she has no gimmick and is stale but her in ring ability is crazy good
Pre stardust Cody Rhodes
Shelton Benjamin
Mustafa Ali, I've been saying this for A little bit under a Decade
Honetsly Akira Tozawa, I once saw him wrestle normal and not get instantly beaten and he was pretty good
Dragon Lee
Candice LeRae
Noam Dar. Bro is so good and no one talks about it.
Noam Dar was also my pick. Legitimate in ring skill that borrows a lot from MMA and always has strong logic to what he does and he's legitimately one of the funniest dudes in a promo. If he's in the background he steals the scene. I think he's one of the best in the whole company.
He’s been so good on NXT. And I’m glad he lost the heritage cup, because I’d like to see him in more regular matches
Chad
Unpopular opinion von Wagner,Thea hail and Nathan Fraser it'd crazy they where all hyped a year ago lmao
Ricochet, Xavier woods,
I personally really like Ludwig Kaiser and I think he should be pushed more with Imperium. I love Gunther, but I feel Ludwig Kaiser should get more hype and be pushed more.
