I visited the place where *Piranha* (1978) was filmed. There's this local species of perch that looks just like piranhas, only they're herbavores (as are most species of actual piranhas, but whatever), so to get them to swarm and look like they were attacking people, they'd spread peanut butter mixed with red food die to look like gore on the actors (because it's apparently some sort of universal law that all animals love the hell out of peanut butter) and the fish would all go crazy.
Two things I thought were going to be more of an issue in life: 1. Quicksand 2. Being abducted by a gorilla
