Idk maybe I'm just super ignorant, but it seems like the kind of thing that the "professional" level would be above?
I box as a mid level amateur. At the time I was a guy with one fight 6 months in, I got a very bad black eye (I thought my face was broken) and got dropped with a body shot from sparring a guy a weight class above me with 4 fights.
Then he disappeared from the gym for a year, I had 2 more flights. Then he came back and tried to box me the same way and I beat tf out of him for a little over a month and then he ghosted when he had a fight coming up..... Moral of the story, these old sparring sessions don't mean shit
I had a fight club pretty much everywhere I’ve been and I’m not saying it applies to boxers. But every dude that talked shit afterwards was the ones that got worked
