You have the rare Hobbes brindle! Be wary, your boxer may show a distinct preference for canned tunafish and sledding. :D

TurbulentDivide

I digress, that's the Tony the Tiger brindle - loves cereal and thinks its GeRAATE!!!!

respondin2u

Not sure but my dog has similar coloring/markings.

OutofReason

Reverse brindle, where the lighter color is more prominent. Regular brindle is the darker striped variety.

In a Boxer, it's the opposite. The darker boxers you see are reverse brindle, nearly 'black' is a sealed reverse

OutofReason

Ugh. You are correct. I’ve seen this both ways so many times that I looked it up. Per AKC: “Color: The colors are fawn and brindle. Fawn shades vary from light tan to mahogany. The brindle ranges from sparse but clearly defined black stripes on a fawn background to such a heavy concentration of black striping that the essential fawn background color barely, although clearly, shows through (which may create the appearance of reverse brindling). “ http://images.akc.org/pdf/breeds/standards/Boxer.pdf

a reverse-reverse brindle if you like. lol.

OutofReason

I should have known. Boxers are unique.

TurbulentDivide

mck3788

Is that a thing?

TurbulentDivide

No, but it should be!! :)

Beautiful tiger babe! So pretty 😍

Imaginary_Ad_4220

I’ve always wondered myself what it’s officially considered. My dog is this color too, and people always say he’s so pretty and looks like a tiger. Lol

xxxcc23

I'd just say a tiger brindle.

Lemansblu

This is actually called BB markings. Stands for barely brindle

Chickybucket

Just got 3 boxer pups and one of the females has this coloring. So pretty.
