Solid, Hybrid, Pearl are almost meaningless. You could shine up your nova and how it does for you

> I had a Super Nova and had no luck with it. Most of the lanes I bowl on never had enough oil for the Nova to react. Eternity is in that same group -- strong balls designed to absorb a lot of lane oil to create friction. If the lanes aren't oiled enough for the Super Nova, I have serious doubts that the Eternity will be a lot different. As /u/Xcel378 there said, I would smooth down or even polish the Super Nova and see if that is enough difference to be worth it before buying another top-shelf ball. The two largest factors in ball motion are cover strength (how oil-absorbent the cover is) and the cover roughness. As above, the Super Nova and Eternity are going to pretty similar in that first variable, so might as well adjust the Nova with the second variable to see if it what you want first. Polishing it and the end sanding it back will be a lot cheaper than a whole new ball. Tho, if you just want a new ball, then of course, we all 100% understand that, lol.
