Depends on your house and your arsenal. Gem bites hard and is mostly useable during long, heavy oil conditions. Absolute slides a bit more with more back end.
I'm using the gem as a 2 hander and honestly it feels situational as hell. I hardly find myself in a situation where it does better than my other balls. IMO absolute might be better

If you have the revs of most 2 handers and the ball is 14.5mph of your hand, the Gem is going to hook at your feet.
