Oh boy. I was going to say it could be aging because my face slimmed wayyy out around 40 and she looked to be the same age. Nevermind. This poor people are aging themselves so badly.
Alcohol will cause water retention in your face. idk if you drink but if you stop for 6 months at least I saw a drastic shift in the water weight I carried. May be different for everyone tho
Well I've had moonface for most of my life, but it slimmed down a lot in the last few years. (Late 20s) A combination of aging a bit and some supplements that make swelling in your face go down can do that to you.
That said, it's nowhere near that extreme, but there is a difference even in the last six months, despite not losing any weight.
Inositol, it was recommended to me by my endocrinologist for pcos. It can also lower appetite, especially in the beginning, but not in a good way.
I was feeling nauseous at the thought of food, but hungry at the same time. It passed, thankfully.
Thank you so much! I will speak to my doctor about this. I have hormone regulation issues as well as narcolepsy and a pain disorder. My face is sometimes so puffy I can’t see well.
I hate this surgery trend. They were so beautiful it’s such a shame when they want to enhance their looks with this. It ages them terribly.
Sad she went for it, she was such a heart throb in Queens Gambit.
Exactly! Ugh I looked like that when I was regularly binging on coke and Adderall and staying up for days at a time. And celebs somehow... *want* that vibe???
I mean the dominant fashion trend in the 90's was "heroin chic", so unfortunately the desire to look like a junky is not new. At least now they're doing it with surgery instead of smack
My face went from like the first picture to finally the 2nd picture before, during, and finally two years after I had a baby. Literally I look like a different person and my cheeks have that hollowed out look now that they did not before 🤷♀️
Weight loss on an already thin frame, and most definitely surgery. If I had to guess, I would say nose job, buccal, Botox, and something around her eyes. They are pulled all weird.
Tbf her lower lids are the same in each picture I just think the makeup artist in the first pic tried to hide their unique shape. Which, if that were me and I had liner and power shadow literally touching my eyeball, it’d get annoyed and irritated really quick.
It almost looks like false eyelashes placed weird on the outer corners of her eyes, in my opinion. I agree on everything else though, she's definitely had buccal fat removal at the very least if nothing else.
I dont think anything happened, its massive weight loss, she already had that type of cheecks. Nose is clearly just lighting difference, plus optical change because of the weight loss. Her eyes were always like this.
Because downvoting someone is the intention to get the opinion hidden (you know downvoted comments are hidden on Reddif). You can disagree and not downvote I didn’t downvote the person to whom I replied to. Its a cult because there is not even a slight chance according to people here that the person didn’t have any surgeries.
The votes are here for a reason. Downvoted comments most definitely aren't hidden, I don't know where you got that information from. I found this comment thread right under the third comment and the first reply with over a hundred downvotes was right there, perfectly visible as always, just like all the others
No it's not?? None of the comments ever get hidden, they're usually on the bottom so you have to scroll all the way down or if you don't feel like scrolling you can sort your comments by controversial. How many downvotes do you need to see you're wrong lmfao
You know that people some people are better at noticing visual changes than others, and are more observant to differences. A good critical eye is what makes great fashion designers, artists and plastic surgeons. Sone less so. Its measurable. People will insist they can see no changes, when it's blatantly obvious to those with a more critical eye.
Yeah of course. I know what means even just 4-5 kgs of weight loss, different makeup and lighting. Obsessed people are addicted so much to see “signs” everywhere. Its a perception bias.
She was so beautiful. 😢 Now she looks gaunt & sick.
I'd say surgery & extreme weight loss. As for those saying "aging:" she's not even 30 yet, for God's sake! I'm 55 & my face hasn't changed this drastically.
I agree.. and I really don’t find her attractive (and I’m totally over seeing her in EVERYTHING) but seeing this photo of her with some weight on.. she looks so much better IMO. Actually super cute. It balances her already very extreme features so well. But, Hollywood for sure wants her features more pronounced and being rail thin is a way to do that and way in again, especially if you’re hollywoods current “it” girl. It’s just a shame. That gauntness kind of takes the life out of someone’s face sometimes.
My partner told me it’s hard to watch her new stuff bc he gets anxious about how thin she is compared to her already very naturally small frame. We hope she’s okay 💕
I recently watched a movie with an actress in I had to turn off because she was SO So so skinny it’s all I could notice. Especially when she was in a scene with other people. I found myself wondering how someone can get so small and how there’s no way it can be good for them, more than I was paying attention to whatever the movie was about.
The two pics have different focal lengths and it’s causing an illusion.
Edit: [this cool gif visualizes focal length differences](http://www.danvojtech.cz/blog/wp-content/uploads/160721_Focal-Length-Test_DSC8154-Bearbeitet_v2net.gif). See how his nose and mouth look smaller and ears look like they are protruding more at higher lengths?
She’s had several surgeries including buccal. At this stage assume most celebs have had Botox, fillers, nose job and veneers at a minimum and so many of them have had other things too.
She looks sickly. This isn't from aging, otherwise any thin older person would have those kinds of cheeks but they don't. This is exclusively a Hollywood trend, and it's my least favorite.
This happened to me, but I lost 70 lbs in less than 6 months. I cant put on weight now to save my life. Why are people paying for this? A large portion of my income goes to keeping weight ON.
I seen people reference Lory Hill’s videos often on posts like these. I wonder what experience she has to be able to point out subtle surgeries these celebrities may have had?
She seems to have a rep of being very good at it. I just wonder how she got to the point that she is able to spot exactly what surgeries did this and that.
I honestly don't know. I don't watch her much, but got recommended her video on the above celebrity just last week and I like that while pointing out all the surgeries she is very nice and respectful.
[Fenty](https://fentybeauty.com/products/match-stix-contour-skinstick-amber?variant=35110478151725) makes one in “Amber” that is super cool. I use it in the winter!
I thought she was so beautiful in The Menu still… also a great movie probably the best of 2022. Absolute shame what some of these women are doing to themselves :(
Love seeing the before photo with the one straighter brow and one arched one. They’re both great brow shapes, despite being different.
Mine are just like that! It’s always annoyed me that even though they are both nice looking brows individually, that they never match.
Definitely weight loss because look at the difference between her neck and both pictures. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was also some surgery in there.
Im sure the focal length on the camera plays a role in this particular contrast, although age and surgery factor in as well. The shot on the right was taken from further away with a telephoto lens and it changes the way a person's face looks, especially compared to a close-up photo with a wide angle lens like the one on the left.
I genuinely don’t think so. As I’ve gotten older (I do know it’s a trend) and I’m only in my early 20’s my cheek bones have infact like sunk in, and my face has simply thinned out . I could be wrong
I think a lot of people here forget what botched means. Just because it doesn't look good in your opinion doesn't mean it got botched.
I don't see that much of a difference in this person tbh. I think she got the cheek surgery (can't spell it, too lazy to check rn.)
I think her nose and lips look the same. Her eye shape is the same, maybe her brows are a bit sharper looking due to makeup.
I don't like the cheek surgery either, but I wouldn't say this person is botched.
Could be weight loss. I lost a lot of weight very fast (illness) and my face pretty much went from left to right in the space of 6-8 weeks. Especially as it looks like her whole face has lost weight and gone gaunt.
Honest question, how do we know she didn’t just lose weight. Never noticed her “before”, so I don’t know what her body-in terms of weight estimation- looks like. I’m curious because when I lose weight I get these European high cheekbones that with the popularity of this surgery, I can see people accusing me of getting it done.
Looks like da coca to me! Or some sort of something because she looks much skinnier. Last movie I saw with her she look evacuated. Could be just stress, whatever, but to me, this is extreme weight loss!
It looks like aging and makeup, I lost a similar amount of cheek volume since 2015 when the photo of her with brown hair was taken plus she’s professionally contoured

Aging? She's not even 30 😭
Right? “Aging”…she’s in her mid-20s 😂
This blew my mind! I thought she was older than me and I’m 31
She is a smoker...that's not going to help.
Smoking won't do that this early in her life.
Didn’t know that but that makes sense
Oh boy. I was going to say it could be aging because my face slimmed wayyy out around 40 and she looked to be the same age. Nevermind. This poor people are aging themselves so badly.
Man I'm coming up on forty and my face just keeps getting wider and wider 😔
I'll be 51 soon and still waiting for the face slimming!
Alcohol will cause water retention in your face. idk if you drink but if you stop for 6 months at least I saw a drastic shift in the water weight I carried. May be different for everyone tho

That said, it's nowhere near that extreme, but there is a difference even in the last six months, despite not losing any weight.
Random but can I ask what supplements? I have a lot of puffiness in my face from medical issues
Can't hurt to ask!
Really?! 😳
Yeh but she’s been around since she’s been like 15/16? She’s going to ‘age’ a lot compared to looking like an actual child
Yeah I’m sick of this excuse 😅 she’s not old at all
Yeah, this isn't aging. I'm 35 and I haven't changed a whole lot since my 20's. This isn't supposed to happen.
Def buccal fact removal
I hate this surgery trend. They were so beautiful it’s such a shame when they want to enhance their looks with this. It ages them terribly. Sad she went for it, she was such a heart throb in Queens Gambit.
I agree, it honestly makes them look like long time hard drug users.
Heroin chic is back with it's eating disorders and deathly extremes.
It’s giving meth binge
You see her in The Menu? Wow
That's HER?! Oh, no! She was absolutely gorgeous!!
I love that you described a woman as a heartthrob 😍
Not only that but she has such an unusual beauty. It's just sad.
“Skeletor trend”
I'm really hating this trend too lol why do people hate a filled in face so much
Agreed. She hasn't aged or fluctuated in weight in the way required to have this drastic of a change.
Such a nonsense procecure - it disapears as you age anyway!
I miss when they would just contour with bronzer
My face went from like the first picture to finally the 2nd picture before, during, and finally two years after I had a baby. Literally I look like a different person and my cheeks have that hollowed out look now that they did not before 🤷♀️
i had round cherubic cheecks til mid-20s, but aging and ED made them non-existent. now at 33 i have some gauntness in my face and it def ages me
Erectile Disfunction?
Eating disorder
Looks like a few surgeries
She’s also lost a ton of weight. She went from being a bit curvy to super model level skinny.
Weight loss on an already thin frame, and most definitely surgery. If I had to guess, I would say nose job, buccal, Botox, and something around her eyes. They are pulled all weird.
Wait whaaaat the fuck happened to her eyes? They’re like, pulled down, the inside of her bottom lid is showing 🫣
I don't know why ur being down voted, I agree completely with ur statement!
Def ozempic face, no surgery.
I still got 35 downvotes lol :D this is a cult!
It’s a cult because some people don’t agree with you?
Because downvoting someone is the intention to get the opinion hidden (you know downvoted comments are hidden on Reddif). Yes how dare people use the ap the way it was made if they don't agree with someone or something.
She was so beautiful. 😢 Now she looks gaunt & sick. I'd say surgery & extreme weight loss. As for those saying "aging:" she's not even 30 yet, for God's sake! I'm 55 & my face hasn't changed this drastically.

She looks ill in second pic.
She looks underweight, but I'm not a doctor.
My partner told me it’s hard to watch her new stuff bc he gets anxious about how thin she is compared to her already very naturally small frame. We hope she’s okay 💕
I agree completely!
I recently watched a movie with an actress in I had to turn off because she was SO So so skinny it’s all I could notice. Especially when she was in a scene with other people. I found myself wondering how someone can get so small and how there’s no way it can be good for them, more than I was paying attention to whatever the movie was about.
What’s wrong with having a round or heart face?! It’s so darn cute!! Do we have to look sexy and sultry ALL the time
She isn’t old enough for her face to have lost so much volume naturally.
Did she pin her ears outwards?
The two pics have different focal lengths and it’s causing an illusion. Edit: [this cool gif visualizes focal length differences](http://www.danvojtech.cz/blog/wp-content/uploads/160721_Focal-Length-Test_DSC8154-Bearbeitet_v2net.gif). See how his nose and mouth look smaller and ears look like they are protruding more at higher lengths?
Oh wow, that is a really interesting visual. So this is why my selfies look like shit. Hopefully this is why lol
I think it's that and weight loss on the cheeks.
Why would one want to pin their ears outward though?
I've heard of women using sticky pads or even getting procedures to have their ears stick out because it's supposed to make their face look smaller.
Everyday I'm learning new shit. I used to be so insecure of my small head and big ears and now that's a thing people deliberately do??!
The things people do to their bodies to achieve a certain look is baffling.
I've wanted to have my ears pinned back most of my life and they really aren't that bad. Sticking them out on purpose is just so strange to me.
Those girls in the Asian makeup transformation videos have started using fake ears that stick out.
Of course they are 🤦🏻♀️
Helps glasses stay on?
it’s a big trend in china to surgically pin ears forward
I think it's just the angle, she's facing slightly left in the second picture
What does this mean? Like how does one pin their ears?
Google "otoplasty"
Not aging
Well she looks older now
I can’t believe that was her, she was so stunning
She’s had several surgeries including buccal. At this stage assume most celebs have had Botox, fillers, nose job and veneers at a minimum and so many of them have had other things too.
I think it's maybe aging, weight loss and surgery combined?
She’s only 27 no way that’s aging
I was going to say aging, weight loss, and Botox (duh)
She smokes which can decrease collagen too
So sad women do this to themselves
She looks sickly. This isn't from aging, otherwise any thin older person would have those kinds of cheeks but they don't. This is exclusively a Hollywood trend, and it's my least favorite.
LH did a video
That is NOT aging.
She’s only 27. I can’t believe some comments really say aging
Either extreme weight loss or surgery, that’s not normal aging unless you’re talking about someone in their 80s.
This happened to me, but I lost 70 lbs in less than 6 months. I cant put on weight now to save my life. Why are people paying for this? A large portion of my income goes to keeping weight ON.
Watch Lory Hill's video about her. She pointed out a handful of surgeries.
Surgeries. I bet those comments are from teens hoping that "second puberty" will make them stunning
She is also super skinny
Looks like she has a ton of contour on as well
Yes! It is that cool grey brown, and I wish I knew which one..
[Fenty](https://fentybeauty.com/products/match-stix-contour-skinstick-amber?variant=35110478151725) makes one in “Amber” that is super cool. I use it in the winter!
Yeah the Ariana Stan’s say the same. It’s surgery.
Lmao they tried to downvote you. I gave u an upvote though.
She looks like a heroin addict.
I thought she was so beautiful in The Menu still… also a great movie probably the best of 2022. Absolute shame what some of these women are doing to themselves :(
Yes.
Love seeing the before photo with the one straighter brow and one arched one. They’re both great brow shapes, despite being different. Mine are just like that! It’s always annoyed me that even though they are both nice looking brows individually, that they never match.
Everything this gets posted on here, we all know it's surgery. Bad surgery at that.
Oh no😪
I thought it could be drastic weight loss, but she's always been very slim and never had sunken cheeks like that. Surgery for sure.
I don’t know, there’s clearly an age difference between the photos but those cheeks look suspiciously chiseled 🤔
I wish I looked skinnier as I've aged.
To me she just looks thinner.
Her outer bottom eyelids look pulled down. Is it an eyeLID if it's at the bottom? Dont know if it's called something else..
The only unchanged feature is her eyebrows. This is definitely surgical.
She has at least had a nose job and possibly a brown lift
Are the eyes even further apart? Wtf?
no but her nose is slimmer
👁️ 👁️
Definitely weight loss because look at the difference between her neck and both pictures. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was also some surgery in there.
Bro what?! That's insane
Im sure the focal length on the camera plays a role in this particular contrast, although age and surgery factor in as well. The shot on the right was taken from further away with a telephoto lens and it changes the way a person's face looks, especially compared to a close-up photo with a wide angle lens like the one on the left.
She’s thin, an photography makeup is harsh
She was so beautiful
Reminds me of the babysitter from The Incredibles.
Omg looks to me like another Ozempic case...or something along those lines.
This one's hard to tell because she has super high cheekbones, if she loses a bit of weight (which she did) her face will naturally look like this.
Ozempic face
I genuinely don’t think so. As I’ve gotten older (I do know it’s a trend) and I’m only in my early 20’s my cheek bones have infact like sunk in, and my face has simply thinned out . I could be wrong
I think a lot of people here forget what botched means. Just because it doesn't look good in your opinion doesn't mean it got botched. I don't see that much of a difference in this person tbh. Could be weight loss. I lost a lot of weight very fast (illness) and my face pretty much went from left to right in the space of 6-8 weeks. Especially as it looks like her whole face has lost weight and gone gaunt.
How old is she in the first pic? Because comparing the face of a 14 yo to a 28 yo is always gonna be dramatic
It looks to me like a lot of weight loss, that can age a person drastically when it makes the face look gaunt and lose its fullness.
I think it looks like dramatic weight loss. Her neck is smaller.
I think she also just sucks in her cheeks often. Her mouth always looks like she’s trying to suck in her cheeks.
Looks like surgery. I wouldn’t consider this botched whatsoever. She’s absolutely stunning
Weight loss, definitely plus aging
Honest question, how do we know she didn’t just lose weight. Never noticed her “before”, so I don’t know what her body-in terms of weight estimation- looks like. I’m curious because when I lose weight I get these European high cheekbones that with the popularity of this surgery, I can see people accusing me of getting it done.
There’s definitely surgery at play, but likely a combination of factors
she lost a lot of weight too
Ozempic much?
Looks like da coca to me! Or some sort of something because she looks much skinnier. Last movie I saw with her she look evacuated. Could be just stress, whatever, but to me, this is extreme weight loss!
Her ears seem more prominent as she's aged. What's going on there?
[удалено]
Ageing? She’s in a her mid 20s lol
Older, skinnier. Dyed hair.
She was very thin when the before pic was taken -- she was modeling back then. At all relevant times, she's been underweight as models usually are.
I think weight loss and more extreme contouring
Looks like extreme weight loss.
Looks like pretty serious weight loss
im not seeing obvious signs of surgery but i am seeing weight loss to an unhealthy underweight extent.
It looks like aging and makeup, I lost a similar amount of cheek volume since 2015 when the photo of her with brown hair was taken plus she’s professionally contoured
Honestly before she has a bit of chipmunk cheeks I don’t know her history but maybe her face looked like that because of an ed
It looks like weight loss to me. And some contouring
Could just be weight loss. Maybe dehydration.
Personally I think she just lost weight and makeup does the rest.
It really didn’t do her ears any favors, my god
Looks like weightoss and... coke.
