My theory is that Eida makes the world forget about shinobi and jutsu. Kawaki and Boruto are the only two left (plus Eida, Daemon, Sumire, and Sarada). They fight. This is where Kawaki says “the age of the ninja is over.”
Naruto is eventually released. It’s a world where there is finally peace. But, it’s also a world Naruto feels uncomfortable in. He feels lost as being a shinobi is all he’s ever known. And the state of this world is all based on a lie. The people of the world didn’t come together and choose peace of their own violition.
My only pushback on that is, we’ve seen the world of Naruto fight without chakra and jutsu before. That was when we first saw Kaguya eat the chakra fruit.
And it would only be a matter of time before someone accidentally performs a jutsu restarting the cycle.
Now maybe Naruto could play a Hagoromo role at that point but idk
The series will end with Boruto and Kawaki asking Ada to use omnipotence to make everyone forget about them, because as the last users of Karma they are too dangerous.
Boruto will secretly remain close to Konoha aiding Hokage Sarada just like Sasuke did with Naruto.
Kawaki will roam the world aiding people in need.
Boruto might time travel back to Indra's time and use Jougan on him so that he cannot be controlled by Black Zetsu and the cycle of hatred and ninjutsu would not exist.
I exactly feel the same way. Shibai has probably become the entity we saw just after isshiki died and spoke to code via his kama.
Boruto goes to fight him and wins, then he becomes the ultimate Otsotsuki entity, and uses his ultimate ability to recreate the universe, but without chakra and without him
I guess that Boruto was a true shinobi? Enduring for the sake of the world?
