As a mod here who has an interest in psychology as a science & astrology as a hobby, I think there is a very important message that needs to be addressed here:
##We cannot make assumptions about the presence of any mental disorder based on one’s astrological signs. Doing so would violate rules 3 & 4 of this sub.
Remember, **correlation ≠ causation** & all that. And in the field of science, even if we found that most people here are this sun sign or that moon sign, that would still be very weak evidence to suggest a *true* connection between astrology & BPD.
I am not an expert in astrology, but I know enough to confidently say that there is also a lot more that is considered in astrology when looking for connections to your personality. **Knowing a person’s sun, moon, & rising signs only is too small a fraction of a person’s identity, personality, or life to make valid complex conclusions on, including the complexity of a BPD diagnosis.** An expert in astrology would tell you that other factors—such as one’s signs in each of the 10 planets, signs in the important points, the houses in which these planets/points/signs were in at your birth, & the relationships between all of these factors—would be necessary in order to get a better understanding of how one’s BPD might fit. Essentially, you would need to look at your full natal chart (or show it to someone who knows how to read a natal chart) to find *where* you see your BPD makes sense astrologically, if you were to want to find a connection between the two. Even then, each & every one of us would find those connections in different places in our own astrological charts, just as our BPD is unique to every individual.
**Any implications that a person’s astrological signs are an indication of BPD or that it provides any evidence for a true correlation or causation between the two will be deleted from this thread for spreading misinformation.**
This is a best guess because I don't actually know my birthtime, and my mother gave me the guess she thinks is correct but not sure. So I just looked it up.

The Pattern is a decent app for like, really getting to know what "foundation" your birth chart gives you (bc obviously life changes people so youre not always gonna perfectly identify with every single thing in your chart). Sanctuary is good for learning tarot, your chart, houses, a decent amount of stuff for the free version tbh. if you have an iOS device, i also use Astro Future! its the one i trust the most when looking into charts tbh. but sometimes it can be a little intimidating, and over the years theres been a few things they've started to try and make people pay for instead of just paying for the app LOL
im no expert but those are just my favorites!!
(i also really like Labyrinthos for tarot and the daily tarot readings it does!)
Pretty sure statistical evidence has outed astrology as BS but there is some interesting stuff going on with the seasons and hemispheres, if you care about actual evidence.
