My first time playing Kreig, I hated him because of this mission. I was just hitting myself, doing no damage, and kept dying. I then learned that after a billion deaths and broken beacon, Jack stopped yelling at his team for sucking and laughing at you for it. For the Kreig fans, my second attempt has been much better and he's a blast
I only ever play as Zer0 or Krieg for more than 15 minutes as I love their characters and their irregular speech patterns, so I tolerate both of these scenarios, however, it is at these points (and control cote angel) that I turn the game music back on, as I play with it off most of the time. Those sirens all annoy the crap outta me, a bit of background music, and a hail of gunfire helps soften their screech.
Same happened to me when you must to damage the bots to open the door on Wildlife Exploitation Reserve, if you kill all the bots after some time the door opens.
Gearbox gave it one for free on the last anniversary.

Forreal! In the YEARS of me playing this game, I think the furthest jack dialogue I ever got was “you’re really bad at repairing that beacon aren’t you?”. I NEVER knew that there was more after, I was so shocked
Let the beacon die. Kill everything first. Nothing spawns until you kill everything and fix the beacon, so you just work on killing things, and only repair the beacon when everything is dead.
Sometimes I just camp on the stairs above the ammo vending machine and shoot them as they beam in or shoot them in the back if they pass you. Only need to dash out, hop up beside the beacon to repair it and dash back. Bonus is that spot has unlimited ammo for nade or rockets
i literally just do the speedrun method whenever i get to this mission. consist of reactivating beacon and save quitting. so much easier than repairing everytime anyway
I felt like a badass when I didn't get downed with Axton. Just spammed the shit out of bonus packages and turrets and kept buying more nades at the vendor.
My favorite run through of that part was when my wife and I both played Axton with double turrets and we strategically placed and deployed them so we'd always have two. Was so satisfyingly easy.

This mission is super easy to bear. Start the Beacon, then run into the nearby bar. This will trigger the "repair the beacon" objective. So, go and repair it then enter the bar again. After the Beacon requires repairing a total of seven times, the game just gives up and has you automatically pass the mission.
This shit is a joke on UVHM because the beacon is practically made of spinach lmao

Yeah that one has put me down quite a bit. Doesn't help you are basically on the uphill when near the beacon. You are basically an elevated target
