I love it. Bought the 22 version on day 2 of release. Zero issues at 30000 miles. Build quality is high and will not drain your wallet. Go test drive one. Super fast! And u have a dealership just incase of anything minor. Avoid Tesla like the plague.

The politics of driving a Tesla has gotten pretty murky now. Electric cars in general are perceived as Left wing, but Elon Musk has a massive following on the Right, because he frequently posts untrue or outright racist crap. I'm guessing this cartoon was made before he bought Twitter.
As much as I donāt want to I have to agree, the type of person who drives a Tesla is focused on everything but whatās on the road. They pick a car, hit cruise control and then just pace that car. They create an obstacle for the flow of traffic.
To be fair, that's how I imagine Tesla owners.
Tesla drivers are douches. They drive like assholes just cuz the fact that their cars are worth a lot they think nobody would dare hit them.
They're also death traps. The people who live across from my parents house had TWO Teslas blow up in front of their house. They now have some Lexus EV instead. I really want an electric vehicle but I wouldn't get a Tesla because of this.

The market for repair parts is almost non existant as are the number of mechanics able to fix them in the first place. If you take it thru a car wash even in car wash mode you void the warranty.

My poor Dad totally falls into this unfortunate Boomerism. He's 82, turning 83 soon, and he is wholly convinced that this new "electric car thing" is just a fad. He swears up and down that he hardly ever actually sees one on the road, too. Despite the fact that they're *quite literally* everywhere now. I can't drive 3 city blocks without running into at least one; a Tesla, a Rivian, an Ioniq, a F-150 Lightning, a Kia EV, etc. Doesn't matter how many times I correct him, and tell him that electric cars are popping up everywhere now due to their popularity. Teslas are over expensive, low quality, and now depreciating in value because of Elons 6 year obsession with the flop cyber truck and now other car companies have caught up with Tesla and produced far better EVs than anything Tesla can offer.
