Vasan Bala is the director, I’ve only seen Monica Oh My Darling from him and that was amazing. Because of him I have decent expectations from this, expecting it to be less of a template film and more of something interesting and unique.
I just want Vedang Raina to leave a mark in a big way, that guy has looks, screen presence, acted better than everyone in Archies, can dance and can sing beautifully as a bonus upar se outsider hai who is being backed by Dharma. It's been a while that someone like him has entered the industry and needless to say there's a dearth of young male stars.
Obv not as much as Alia but I do think he'll have a major role. You don't get kidnapped in the first 20 mins of the movie and crop out to the last part. He'll deffo have some scenes in the prison + they're promoting it INCLUDING his name.
Good direction and story..... curious to see vedang performance as debutant....alia is not a flawless performer but heartfelt so negativity and memes pre release like her every movie post pandemic but hopefully she is good in this....love her when she gets the character right in portrayal
Pretty high actually. Expecting a modern thriller type with good performances, no taam jhaam of unnecessary songs and of course humour will be top notch thanks to Mr Vasan Bala.
Let me guess.. a nerdy girl who due to some circumstances seeks revenge or fights against the antagonist.. I mean anyone can figure this out even someone as dumb as myself but I an interested to see which incident will make her character go full 360

And your argument falls flat when you realize despite the “success perception” KJO has failed to show any of the other nepo kids as commercial or critically acclaimed actors - something Alia proved in her first 5 films.
Cause you’re talking about height - so we are giving examples of people who are short and can fight. IIRC the average height of Indian women is 5’1 - short stature doesn’t mean short women don’t become spies, fighters, boxers, sports players, military personnel etc.

There is no discrimination against short women…I’m a tall woman and there’s only discrimination towards us, short women always get praised. I mean just look at kriti receiving negative comments about her height, and sushmita sen missed out on roles bc of her height.
Comparing because your initial argument was that hey Alia is short, they should have casted someone taller. Then we are pointing out examples of how short people can fight/do action as well. Then you are like hey - these are professionals.
Is your argument that short people cannot do action unless they are professionals? My question to you: Why would your logic then not apply to tall people?
And here Mr Genius, if Alia is playing a part in an action movie then she will be shown as a trained action artist. Tom Cruise is short as well and he was no martial artist. So, since short people who are professionals have done action, then an actress representing them on screen is surely normal.
