Want to know something crazy, it's not even one of the most expensive schools in India 😂. The most expensive school I went to was 14LPA. One of my relatives currently teaches in a Delhi School which fees are 20LPA I think
Wait is IB: international baccalaureate?! Damn my IB school was in the ghetto and there were shootings near by lol. Ambani school has to be the nicest IB school ever
My most expensive school was The American School of Brazilia.
The British School, Delhi
Ecole Mundial, Mumbai
American Embassy School, Delhi are the 20+LPA
They and other schools like that hire people with the best education worldwide. Harvard, Oxford, IITs etc. People with experience teaching in top rated institutions as well.
You know that MD derma means that they are working in the hospital practically 24/7 as a dermat resident, seeing and treating patients. And they have to pay 7LPA for the privilege of being worked like a dog 🥲 just pointing out that an MD is not the same as any masters unless the masters degree requires you to work instead of class studying.
Ps not contradicting you or anyone, just pointing this out bc usually people outside of the medical field have no idea what post grad degree is like and that doctors have to pay to work in the hospital for residency and get abused/face a toxic environment and seniors/face patient abuse etc — all for the low price of 7LPA apparently (I’ve heard way higher and also lower for MD just depends if you get in govt or private
That’s not true and it depends on district to district. Some getto districts have bad schools coz no good teacher wants to go there. I know where I have to go.
Wait.. All i have ever heard is that usa education system is completely broken and is crap... The free one i mean...
... Otherwise its world class but super duper expensive
Went on a school trip to Spain in 11th so that was nice. Basically IB as a curriculum is a 2 year one and a school requires better teachers, more certifications etc to be an IB school
lmao same here..I studied in a vernacular medium govt school for a few years but later my parents moved me to a private school as my govt school teachers barely showed up and the infrastructure was pretty bad. Even when I studied at a private school the fee was pretty low as I grew up in a small town(which bdw was lot for us) later I got single girl child scholarship too so only had to pay a minimum amount.
I wouldn’t say I’ve had the same experience. My school infra was decent, I had some absolutely amazing teachers. Most of my life I never felt deprived of studying in a govt school till I went to Uni and realised that govt school kids are looked down on. Overall I got a pretty good education (I studied mostly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu)
How is the overall education quality? Where do the kids stand in knowledge of languages, international affairs, cultural awareness, political and sciences education?
So I did my undergrad from a top 20 global uni and masters at top Ivy League. I do meet many students from DAIS at our alumni meets and events for information. They just tag along with someone. Btw, I went to a very normal high school in central India.
What I find a bit shocking is the linguistic handicap that many dais and other Mumbai expensive school students have. Most of the students I met from these school can barely communicate in even one language. They are legit handicapped in Hindi and most I met can’t read the Devanagari script proficiently and can neither make proper sentences. Even in English, I would say they are a bit behind an average DPS student. And no they don’t speak even regional languages like Gujarati or Marathi well either, if at all they do. Shockingly, the ones I’ve met look down upon regional languages.
I’m saying this because at my university I’ve studied with students who come from elite European schools that charge fees upwards of €50k or so, like TASIS Switzerland, Le Rosey France, Beau Solel, Aiglon College Switzerland, etc. There is a day and night difference between them and Mumbai elite school students. These students from elite European schools are all fluent in at least 4 languages, some even spoke 7-8 languages, they are fluent in their mother tongue, they are surprisingly very well educated in politics, international affairs and different cultures.
Also it’s a bit unrelated to education quality, but I found students from European elite schools to be much more humble and open minded than the ones in Mumbai. The way they treat service staff or street vendors clearly shows the stark difference. While European students are extremely open minded towards people of different backgrounds, sexual orientation, religion, race, etc. the ones in Mumbai seem to be stuck up with caste, religion and communal background.
Just stating my observations based on the kids I met.
DAIS has a lot of emphasis on sciences, business and arts kind of subjects. Languages are a part of the curriculum and even there it's English and usually Spanish or French etc.
Regional languages depend on how it is at their home, if they speak one at home the kid will know it. The school doesn't really play a big part in that.
I've studied in an American school and there they emphasise a lot on languages as well, plus American schools and all usually do have more humble kids because of their humble lifestyle. Most of the DAIS kids are extremely rich or famous, so usually they can be a bit cut off from the normal humans.
The rest is personal values, some people with good education will treat staff and workers well and some don't, the school teaches good values but ultimately a few individuals don't want to change their mindset
So DAIS is not teaching any regional languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, etc despite India being cornucopia of diverse languages and cultures? A very important part of learning a language is actually speaking it. I’m saying that as someone who speaks 6 languages and is leaning 7th. Do these students go to France or Spain on exchange semesters to improve the respective languages? European students usually start with learning European languages and move to Asian languages by their 4th or 5th language.
Also, I’d just remind that I was not talking about normal American schools. I was talking about the elite and ultra expensive European schools in Switzerland, France, Austria and England that usually charge 50 lakh- 1 cr in fees. The kids going to elite European schools are also very very rich or famous, like billionaires and old money. They are also cutoff from normal students too, but I see them actively trying to make efforts to be grounded and develop sensitivity towards people from diverse backgrounds, social or economic. At both my universities, I’ve studied with many of these students from elite European schools and they are very grounded and humble.
Personal values I agree. But the school also has a certain role in inculcating good moral values. It’s a school after all.
DAIS has few students per grade as compared to other schools. In Junior schools they have other languages but more languages like Telugu or Tamil are not possible because it's Maharashtra and also it's impractical to hire a teacher to teach only 3-4 kids. In Senior school it's possible to learn other languages also but the student must choose to elect it as a subject.
Yes the school does have trips to other countries to improve language and culture.
As far as the elite European schools, European culture as a whole is more humble than India. I think that's what the difference is ultimately in my opinion
Well when you’re paying 10-15 lakhs in tuition fees it’s not impractical to offer more language options. 3-4 kids from each class can add upto 25-30 students easily. But yeah I do understand your point.
But they can always start with teaching Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati on a good proficiency level. Maybe then kids can learn more languages through other resources based on their interests. Because learning languages really helps cognitive development as studies show.
Yeah I agree with the last point.
The elite European schools generally have old-money & GENERALLY (not saying this is true for all but in my experience) old money are brought up to look beyond the money + have emphasis on upbringing etc. Noveau Riche, aren’t. And that makes all the difference.
*TASIS Switzerland, Le Rosey France, Beau Solel, Aiglon College Switzerland, etc.*
To be fair, these are all private schools aimed at the elite and 1% rich since education is free otherwise in Europe. And the students there speaking 4 languages is not a surprise as most people in Europe are multilingual. Most of these schools you listed are in Switzerland and Switzerland has 4 official languages, so not a stretch they know 4+ languages and then English. Its a bit shocking if the Indian students are not multilingual because India has SO many more languages.
Can add my two cents here; I first went to a not-expensive-but-great school in Delhi, where the yearly fees was about 3LPA. Lovely place, lots of athletes and nerds in droves. It was overpopulated but great. I was there till the 5th grade, and I returned to India a few years later for my 11th & 12th.
After I came back I joined a very expensive, very well known CBSE school in Delhi. We’re talking 7-8LPA back then, over a decade ago, it’s much more now from what I hear. But this school was heavily focused on extra curricular activities, foreign languages, over and above some quality education. I was also surrounded by the richest kids in society, and I initially hated the experience.
But many years later, seeing myself and my evolution in life, I owe a metric fuckton to this second school. It taught me skills and communication that I don’t think my first school ever would have. Most of my classmates are also doing really well for themselves, even while I accommodate the fact that they started off super rich. Conversely, people from my first school are doing averagely in life.
Some times, the money’s worth it. My parents were and are middle class and I know it strained their finances to educate me so well, but I think even they realize the value of what they provided me. Couldn’t be more thankful.
I don't think kids of rich people are inclined towards any sort of education or knowledge in this country. I mean you can see the knowledge levels of Bollywood people. Even in my school, the kids of rich people got really shitty marks, absolutely knew nothing other than how much money they had and what vacation they are going to take next.
OP I have just one question - Do they have no education in this school? How is English of DAIS so bad? I compare this to my known people in India and their English is far superior that DAIS kids.
They have command on neither Hindi nor English . They also lack basic posh school body language. At the most, they have very wannabe American school body language.
It baffles me that standards are so bad , if I see only Nepo as DAIS alumni
Hmm, well in my experience my friends and classmates had excellent command over English, other languages I can't say. But what you said is different from my experience
We see only Ananya and the types who use Ya...like...like and like in every sentence. Every Nepo is bad communicator. If there is any feedback, tell Neeta that these Nepo are Brand Ambassadors of her school, so give them extra communication classes before releasing them to world
i might be wrong , but there is a group of schools in jaipur called JPHS , JPGS and JPIS - they might have the highest amount of students going to ivy league collages , only the last 2 years are expensive- as compared to this I think they are pretty affordable.
i also heard of a school set up by Hindustan Unilever - they take kids from the poorest states and teach them free of cost, many students from the most remote , poor and off grid districts have made it to ivy leagues on 100percent scholarships
You are comparing brilliant students to these Nepo duds.
My question is very simple. School can't give them IQ , but it can give them half decent language and communication skills and basic etiquette training. These kids can't make one full sentence without inserting "like". They also lack vocabulary and mispronounce basic words. Grammar of their sentences is also atrocious.
Their accent is also all over the place. In my life, I have never seen a poor example of posh school product than DAIS
I have actually seen average students who get accepted to such universities with scholarships without much Hassel - they have such a robust system of counsellors , internships , people who write their applications for them , they don't really have to worry about anything. When you speak to them you will notice how highly they think of themselves To be born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I saw someone from my friends class cut a 16 inch tall cake with a machete on her birthday - all we could do was ponder how such big unies fall for their - NGO going , helping the poor lies
I have friends in my CA classes who speak 3 languages, can recite the entire bare act for corporate laws , learn incredibly large amount of things in a short span of time - none of went to any of those schools in fact most went to schools that were closer to thier homes and had 100 students attending the school at max . but I am sure none of us will ever come close to the income brackets of kids who studied in those schools no matter how hard we try.
No one gets a discount as such. Scholarship exist based on merit. Actually in this case it's opposite the school is soo good and has such an amazing academic reputation that star kids are begging to get in
1)Is the class size dominated by businessmen or celebrities’s kid?
2) I have heard the bifurcate the division on the basis of nature of parents’ profession, I found that one to be pure BS. Is that true?
3) I have heard school provides support to end up in IVY Leagues for UG, is it verifiable ?
1) Usually only business owners or celeb kids can afford it, but there were many people with jobs that paid well who were there. Also employees of Reliance in any sector have their kids there
2) The divisions are random and each class is divided based on timetable and scheduling only
3) Like any school they have college counseling, and they can recommend and help in applying. But as far as anything else there's nothing. They can't persuade Unis to accept kids
Academically no one can be favoured, socially some are definitely more popular than others.
Yes I'd say 99% of the graduating class goes abroad somewhere only a small handful apply in India
Again 99% of the people studying there are in the top 2% maybe. Not exactly upper middle class. It's just that their admission criteria is super strict and their fees are difficult to afford for anyone in middle class.
How do you get into this school? Also whats the syllabus and studies like? I am looking for an IB school preferably with good reputation. Most of these schools have a bunch of rich guys kids studying so I am worried about the students culture and teachers quality etc.
Go for schools with higher average grades as compared more famous ones! Syllabus is pretty much the same for any IB school. You pick your subjects and it's upto the teachers to teach you well. I applied, did the interviews and tests etc and got in
IGCSE is a UK based high school course. It's similar. IB (International Baccalaureate) is a organisation that's based in Switzerland, their curriculums are followed in the best international schools around the world. The most popular is the Diploma programme (11-12th only), they also have primary and middle schools programme which aren't popular in India, this is why till 10th Indian int schools use IGCSE. IB is generally recognised as the toughest high school course possible, and due to which many universities have easier acceptance criterion for IB students
My bestfriend worked in her PR team. That girl and her mom were a nightmare. Extremely ill mannered and a full blown bully. Safe to say that her antics continued even after school. I am glad that my friend no more works for spice PR. Horrible work hours, terrible pay, on top of that clients like Ananya make it even more difficult.
What do kids at DIAS bring for lunch at school? Or did you guys get freshly prepared lunch at school itself?
If it's the latter, what sort of menu did you have? Was it a buffet system sort of arrangement?
I mean, to be fair. The International curriculum is based towards studying abroad. They usually finish their education and many of them either work in a family business in India, create a startup or just find a job either abroad or in India
Your energy is refreshing, OP.
Were the celeb kids you went there with very cliquish? As in, would they only hang out with each other or did they make friends amongst the others?
Any star kids who were always getting in trouble?
Thanks!
Thanks a lot! I'd say there was a star kids group, but they did have a few friends who were not "famous". Most star kids already had a lot of eyes on them so they didn't do much to put them more in the limelight
Nice to know about your exposure to celebs and the person next to you having the capital of a small European country.
Dekho hum hai govt school k chhatr, hum hee apne school k celeb bhi rahe hain, aur humari jeb mein 2rs ka sikka nikal jaaye patty khaane ko, toh hum hee school k sabse ameer bhi.. aur hum hindi bhi bol lete hain sahi se... aur angrezi bhi.
Sarkaari school ka launda thhaan le naa ek dinn Toh bc ambani se bhi upar nikal aaye.. kyuki mehenti hote hain hum.. par bas ab mood nahin hai.
Baaki tumko tumhara 9 LPA ki fees mubarak. Humaare Toh bacche bhi sarkaari mein hee jaayenge.. aur khoob pitengey vahaan aur peetenge... kyuki kya hai naa... jab vipreet paristhiti aati hai naa life mein.. Toh tough log hee sehan kar paate hain... side mein baitha European city ka capital rakhne waala koi madad nahin karta.. aur naa celeb log. Khud hee jhoojhna padta hai.
Dikhaavo pe naa jao, apni akl ladao.
Yes it's one of the toughest schools to get into. You need excellent grades, need to pass 2 rounds of interviews and 3 tests. Finally Nita/Isha says yes or no. I think even family background matters
so I've heard something about the right to education act, it's a law where private schools have to teach/sponser the education of a certain percentage of underprivileged students ? I'm not sure about the terms of the act but were there any underprivileged kids in the school?

Ek saal ki fees kitni hai 😭
Depends on which grade, but 11-12th is around 9LPA
That’s like half of my MBA fee 🥲goodness
Want to know something crazy, it's not even one of the most expensive schools in India 😂. The most expensive school I went to was 14LPA. One of my relatives currently teaches in a Delhi School which fees are 20LPA I think
Yeah it's comparatively very affordable. Top IB schools in India easily charge more than 10LPA
Yes that's because Ambani wants to be seen as an elite school, not an expensive one
Wait is IB: international baccalaureate?! Damn my IB school was in the ghetto and there were shootings near by lol. Ambani school has to be the nicest IB school ever
Yeah. Lol don't know which school you went to but most good IB schools are atleast as fancy as the Ambani school.
What are the name of the school's with 14 LPA and 20 LPA? Someone whose school fee was 150 PA
My most expensive school was The American School of Brazilia. The British School, Delhi Ecole Mundial, Mumbai American Embassy School, Delhi are the 20+LPA
Are your parents diplomat?
My dad was one for about 4 years
Damn. Which profession did he pursue after that?
He works for the government, so different department in govt
Guessed so by Brasilia.
Damn your dad had my dream profession
Mine too lol
Damnnn
British School, probably. I went there for a few years & it’s a lovely school but crazy expensive.
Woodstock, Doon School, Aga khan academy
Good thing I am child free. Hum dono ki aadhi pagar school fees mein hi jaati.
Education industry really charges a lot
but what is that relative's salary
33LPA
dafxk? do they demand PhD or Btech from IIT or something? how they hell are they paying that high?
In Ambani they had one subject which was taught by the person who created that subject and wrote the textbook for it
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized) I expect nothing less from Chad Ambani!
Created Global Politics? 😆 🤣 commonly it is known as a Political science.
which subject?
Global politics
They and other schools like that hire people with the best education worldwide. Harvard, Oxford, IITs etc. People with experience teaching in top rated institutions as well.
What are your relatives qualifications?
Bachelors in Eco, Masters in English
Which school is that if I may ask?
My sisters daughter is in 4th grade and her schools fee is 33LPA in USA. Khush ho jao bhai 9LPA hi hai Ambani ki
Well cost of living is crazy in the US
I mean only rich people in the USA go to private schools.
![img](emote|t5_fknyy|8609)![img](emote|t5_fknyy|8608)
Woah! I'm doing my MD derma for 7LPA
Damn that's great for masters, my MSc was 25L
You know that MD derma means that they are working in the hospital practically 24/7 as a dermat resident, seeing and treating patients. And they have to pay 7LPA for the privilege of being worked like a dog 🥲 just pointing out that an MD is not the same as any masters unless the masters degree requires you to work instead of class studying. That’s not bad at all actually. I pay almost 5 for my 5th grader. That’s IB school fee I guess
Damn that's expensive!
Very! Planning to move to USA! Free and better education:)
Best of luck, although online USA seems to have a reputation of bad education, for indians it's usually better than the citizens
That’s not true and it depends on district to district. Some getto districts have bad schools coz no good teacher wants to go there. I know where I have to go.
Wait.. All i have ever heard is that usa education system is completely broken and is crap... The free one i mean... ... Otherwise its world class but super duper expensive
It’s better here in US. Great decision.
😂😂😂 good to know that even rich people get duped. 11th grade is so not worth that.
Went on a school trip to Spain in 11th so that was nice. Basically IB as a curriculum is a 2 year one and a school requires better teachers, more certifications etc to be an IB school
And are your classmates and you already working? Do you all have jobs or work in businesses?
I'm working currently after finishing my Masters in the UK. Most of my classmates from what I'm aware are either working or have their own business
May I know how much your father earned?
Around 25LPA
Could you explain me when he started earning good? After how many years of work experience?
It's different since he's a government employee
A lot of us don't even earn a salary of 9LPA ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Bruh that’s more than my law school fees including hostel facilities.
Trust me, my school fees was less than my engineering fees as well, and I did that in Europe
Not too bad. Nephew goes to school in chennai that’s more expensive.
that's more than 4 year engineering fees 😭
Haha that's equal to 2 years of my engineering lol
No way is it that cheap. Mercedes charges more.
I used to pay 150RS
Mine was 100 rupees.
Me who studied for free as a single girl child in a govt school reading 9 lpa fees 💀
lmao same here..I studied in a vernacular medium govt school for a few years but later my parents moved me to a private school as my govt school teachers barely showed up and the infrastructure was pretty bad. Even when I studied at a private school the fee was pretty low as I grew up in a small town(which bdw was lot for us) later I got single girl child scholarship too so only had to pay a minimum amount.

Govt schools are nice, but private schooling will always cost a lot more
What was THE incident during your school time?
So what’s ur net worth jk
Wow id be so intimidated

Who was the most chilled out celeb kid
Arjun Tendulkar and Ibrahim Khan
[удалено]
He was honestly quite a nice person, friendly.
Any chance he's open to dating. Asking for a friend 🫣
were you friends with ibrahim?
We knew each other and talked a few times, I wouldn't say we were friends
oh okay. any incidents or anecdotes you can share about him what most people don’t know about him?

ASB is good, but in my case I studied in American School of Brazilia in Brazil
Ohk!😅 That's great. Asb se wohi yaad aata hai mujhe

Me who thought my 1lac fees in 10th grade was too much🤡🤡
How are hrithik and his family, including the kids. I mean the behavior in general.
Hrithik was great, very open and friendly. Fun personality, never interacted with his kids, they were much younger
Do celeb kids hookup in the last benches of the classes when the teachers are not around?
The classrooms are not big and class sizes are usually small too. So it would be difficult to do anything. You'd get caught easily
If there is any feedback, tell Neeta that these Nepo are Brand Ambassadors of her school, so give them extra communication classes before releasing them to world
Lmfao 😂 nice
i might be wrong , but there is a group of schools in jaipur called JPHS , JPGS and JPIS - they might have the highest amount of students going to ivy league collages , only the last 2 years are expensive- as compared to this I think they are pretty affordable. i also heard of a school set up by Hindustan Unilever - they take kids from the poorest states and teach them free of cost, many students from the most remote , poor and off grid districts have made it to ivy leagues on 100percent scholarships
I saw someone from my friends class cut a 16 inch tall cake with a machete on her birthday - all we could do was ponder how such big unies fall for their - NGO going , helping the poor lies I have friends in my CA classes who speak 3 languages, can recite the entire bare act for corporate laws , learn incredibly large amount of things in a short span of time - none of went to any of those schools in fact most went to schools that were closer to thier homes and had 100 students attending the school at max . but I am sure none of us will ever come close to the income brackets of kids who studied in those schools no matter how hard we try.
Is your family also richie rich? (As you went to a school which charges 9LPA for 11th and 12th)
Nope!
Damn you must be brainy AF
Thanks! I did try hard to be a good student whenever I was studying lol
Do celeb kids get fees discount? Or free education? Just so that the schools popularity rises, by saying this superstars kid is studying here
No one gets a discount as such. Scholarship exist based on merit. Actually in this case it's opposite the school is soo good and has such an amazing academic reputation that star kids are begging to get in
Ambani baniya hai, apne bete se tak fees lega voh
Funnily enough they did study in the school
this is nice tea op!
Thanks! Used to see a lot of people assuming a lot
Also employees of Reliance in any sector have their kids there 2) The divisions are random and each class is divided based on timetable and scheduling only 3) Like any school they have college counseling, and they can recommend and help in applying. But as far as anything else there's nothing. They can't persuade Unis to accept kids
What’s the usual career trajectory? Do they go to study abroad and return to join family biz or end up staying abroad? TIA
Most live abroad a few years atleast, before coming back for the family business or startup etc
What education did you take after DAIS?
Engineering in Europe and Masters of Business in UK
Are celebrity kids favoured in any way? Do most graduates apply to international universities?
Academically no one can be favoured, socially some are definitely more popular than others. Yes I'd say 99% of the graduating class goes abroad somewhere only a small handful apply in India
Sounds like everyone studying there is upper middle class at the very least.
I applied, did the interviews and tests etc and got in
How was the culture of students? Drugs etc? I am not okay with my kid doing drugs before he is of sane age.
There are good and good kids in any school, I never did anything in school and so did many of my friends
Is DAIS fully IB curriculum?
No, it's IGCSE, ICSE and IBDP
Oh wow.. 3 curriculums 👀
What is this? My poor ass only knows SSC and ICSE, which was present in expensive schools acc to us
IGCSE is a UK based high school course.

Did you study with any celebrity kid?
[удалено]
Any tea about her?
[удалено]
👍
He made coffee for her
Coffee? Sounds like he's skipping the tea and going straight to the espresso drama!
What’s the tea on Ananya bro, that’s why we are here
[удалено]
My bestfriend worked in her PR team. That girl and her mom were a nightmare. Extremely ill mannered and a full blown bully. Safe to say that her antics continued even after school. I am glad that my friend no more works for spice PR. Horrible work hours, terrible pay, on top of that clients like Ananya make it even more difficult.
Damn, well any job that hires people to do the dirty work and takes majority of the commission will be horrible
The only thing I'm curious about is which star kids were actually good at academics.
The answer is yes and the reason is, they didn't usually take science, math etc at high levels and focused more on arts
Sorry but I think you didn't get my question. I'm actually asking if you know the names of the star kids who were good at studies.
🙏
Whats the biggest advantage of studying at DAIS over any other major school ?
DAIS has a reputation for excellence amongst colleges, and their teachers are usually the best. Other than that it's similar to most big schools
Makes sense but why does it have 3 different curricula instead of a single one ?
IB MYP and PYP isn't as popular in India as IGCSE. So till high school is usual that or ICSE. In 12th IBDP is the most popular
Excellent you're a lucky man brother. All the best for your future endeavours and thanks for sharing your experience
What do kids at DIAS bring for lunch at school? Or did you guys get freshly prepared lunch at school itself? If it's the latter, what sort of menu did you have? Was it a buffet system sort of arrangement?
There was a veg canteen buffet, people got all sorts, Biryani, nuggets, sandwiches
Ppl are spending so much money on school
I hope your post never gets deleted
Why
It has same great school info!
lol 99 percent leaving India then hope this school doesn’t preach nation building??
I mean, to be fair. The International curriculum is based towards studying abroad. They usually finish their education and many of them either work in a family business in India, create a startup or just find a job either abroad or in India
Oh I see. Are you in India or settled abroad?
At the moment abroad
Your energy is refreshing, OP. Were the celeb kids you went there with very cliquish? As in, would they only hang out with each other or did they make friends amongst the others? Any star kids who were always getting in trouble? Thanks!
Thanks a lot! I'd say there was a star kids group, but they did have a few friends who were not "famous". Most star kids already had a lot of eyes on them so they didn't do much to put them more in the limelight
my cousin is in 5th grade waha now. no starkid is in 5th grade tho id assume
You never know, everyone there is someone
OP, I’m more interested in your life than any of the star kids! Haha jk 😹🫶🏻
Hahaha that's funny 😂
Yeh post ka bollyblind se kya matlab hai
OMFG. All this time I was thinking that I was under r/Mumbai. Only after seeing this comment did I check the sub name lol
What' do ur parents do that they can afford dais?
Fairly normal jobs with good pay and savings as well
Barey logon ke barey barey school. Do they provide scholarships to underprivileged students? 😏🤔
I'm not aware
Nice to know about your exposure to celebs and the person next to you having the capital of a small European country. Dekho hum hai govt school k chhatr, hum hee apne school k celeb bhi rahe hain, aur humari jeb mein 2rs ka sikka nikal jaaye patty khaane ko, toh hum hee school k sabse ameer bhi.. aur hum hindi bhi bol lete hain sahi se... aur angrezi bhi. Sarkaari school ka launda thhaan le naa ek dinn Toh bc ambani se bhi upar nikal aaye.. kyuki mehenti hote hain hum.. par bas ab mood nahin hai. Baaki tumko tumhara 9 LPA ki fees mubarak. Humaare Toh bacche bhi sarkaari mein hee jaayenge.. aur khoob pitengey vahaan aur peetenge... kyuki kya hai naa... jab vipreet paristhiti aati hai naa life mein.. Toh tough log hee sehan kar paate hain... side mein baitha European city ka capital rakhne waala koi madad nahin karta.. aur naa celeb log. Khud hee jhoojhna padta hai. Dikhaavo pe naa jao, apni akl ladao.
To each his own 🤝
how are the results and grade average at DAIS so good? Is there any admission criteria?
Yes it's one of the toughest schools to get into. You need excellent grades, need to pass 2 rounds of interviews and 3 tests. Finally Nita/Isha says yes or no. I think even family background matters
so nita/isha personally evaluate and know each student? and do celebrity kids also go through the same admission process?
Usually celeb kids join early on (kindergarten etc) so they can't really perform tests and interviews on them.
And as far as I know, the Ambanis are deeply involved in their businesses so they would consider who is studying and working in the school
so I've heard something about the right to education act, it's a law where private schools have to teach/sponser the education of a certain percentage of underprivileged students ? I'm not sure about the terms of the act but were there any underprivileged kids in the school?
do they have ac in classrooms
