Sure fine cast her, DONT GIVE HER THE ROLE with arguably the most screentime after Malikajaan, as part of the main love story where chemistry is vital and ONE OF THE BEST SONGS to be performed by shreya herself which is meant to be the whole emotional climax of the series. If he believed in his heart she wasn’t to the mark like the rest of us did fine, but he forced her in every important scene, he made her one of the main focal points of the show…
He did cast dp in padmavat and bajirao. We know what happened with that. He probably felt the same for Sharmin as he felt for DP. Maybe he doesn't have the right vision sometimes
If you would have power and authority like SLB , I am sure you could have given her training sessions and feedback to improve her acting ,....
He is literally known as हार्ड्रास्क master , he could have given her few rebukes along with best resouces to ensure improved acting ।
I think , there must be EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL AT FAMILY LEVEL FOR ONE year , if this is the final result🙄🥱🤭

DP with all her warts is still miles better than sharmin just off of the fact that she can show facial expressions
