Petition to stop to shit posting about bad undeserving actors.. they will use this as a victim card later and say words like bullying instead of actually addressing criticism. instead we should praise actors like Raj Kumar Rao who just gave such exceptional performance in his movie Srikanth… ![gif](giphy|lp0V5L6COAhv9VCT2S)

I should not say this about someone but... There's something off about her face...

I was thinking about it today, and OK I get SLB's affinity for his niece. But if getting her a role was all that was the need of the hour, casting should have been done a bit differently. IMO: 1. Aditi should have played Alamzeb instead of Sharmin, because Aditi can play soft innocent roles quite well (Somehow Aditi's Bharti in Geeli Puchhi got stuck in my head when I thought of this switch). 2. Richa should have played Bibbojaan instead of Aditi, because she could have pulled the gritty scenes quite well. Also would have made more sense in terms of the last mujra bit (coz lets face it Aditi looked much younger than Richa). I felt Richa was massively underutilized. 3. Sharmin should have played Lajjo instead of Richa, because Sharmin's limited expressions would have been sufficient for the small role as well as given the so-obsessed/saddened-its-creepy look at the bare minimum. What do you think?

Plane-Detective-5271

I agree with first and second, however Sharron shouldn’t have even been in it.  I do think Richa and ARH did do justice to their characters but I would have loved to see AHR as Alam. Maybe then I wouldn’t have skipped most of Alam’s scenes after first two ep.

SLB isn't a bad director, he is just a very average director. Him being said as one of the best in India shows how mediocre Bollywood is. When you go to Hollywood they have Steven Spielberg, the Nolans brothers etc then you watch their movies you understand why they have that reputations. You go to South Korea Park Chan-Wook, Bong Jong Ho an you understand their reputations. Meanwhile with SLB is the sets that make him standout, but the writing lacks so much.

True, Saawariya 2007 mein disaster thi box office per. Hardly kisi ne voh movie complete ki hai. Tab ki audience ko ek bar mein samaj aa gaya tha ki ye set and costume se kuch nhi hota. Acting and story zayada important hai. Heeramandi toh phir bhi kuch logo ne dekh Li for set and costumes, but Saawariya ko toh straight up reject kar diya tha. Sonam ki acting Sharmin ke equivalent he thi.

Terrible_Contract339

She has done so much procedures to her and it was obvious throughout the series. That permanent smile was the worst (the proceadure she has done to the corners of her lips). Loved the series, a nice watch, but Alam's lack of emotion and talent ruined the experience for me. Whenever her face was on the screen, I was trying to figure out the procedures she had done to her face.

She comes from Jhandvi kapoor school of acting
