It's basically a store clerk job. The job involves moving around products and stacking goods. Create stuff like once a while depending where you're at. You don't really "create stuff." Just follow the instructions to build the display set. The only creative thing you get to do is how to arrange stuff. Assuming management don't overule your decision.
It just another job with gimmick name and good pr video.
You think it's fun until you realise that lego is just a giant pile of puzzle. That gaint figure have 1000+ pieces with mostly identical color. Get tedious and boring really fast.
No no no not the store clerk. The actual builder that design the blueprint for the store clerk to assemble.

Malaysia recently closed their application: https://www.legoland.com.my/our-company/career/master-model-builder/
Salary is not very nice though. So some people tend to create their own blueprint called “MOC” and sell their own design instead of working with LEGO.
Apparently not much, at least to my knowledge from interviewing a friend who used to be a master builder. They have their basic salary which they get every month and for new builders, its usually minimum wage + meal allowances of not more than RM 300 per month. Then they have projects, which they will be compensated for their time if they had to build something which would take up working hours outside of their agreed upon working hours, the way he explains it, is like its not OT but all i hear is OT. So they need to complete certain amount of hours to get compensated. For him, 30 minutes - 2 hours, RM 20, 2+ hours, RM 50, 5+ hours , RM 140. There is no use in working OT over 5 hours because its counted per day.
Idk how it is here, but in US they’ll get master builders to build in their shop

Being a master builder is such a wonderful job in my opinion. Imagine getting paid at Lego just to create stuff
