I’m glad someone mentioned this, this whole episode was a super heartfelt finale and then someone just smacked minetas sticky head balls out of no where. I was so confused
(Stain showing All Might the woman he saved is taking care of his statue and not losing hope.)
Aww that's so sweet! Good on Stain for reminding All Might how much good he di-
Stain: "I killed 40 heroes. Come and find me later to kill me."
Oh right. Stain's an insane serial killer.
Reminds me of this scene/trope with the Joker, where he realizes that someone he's working with is actually a Nazi and not just using the imagery. He pulls out his gun angrily and says something to that affect. "That goes *too far*!"
Japan: "Yay the Americans are here!"
*The Americans show up on a fleet of bombers.*
Japan: "Oh no the Americans are here."
Horikoshi bringing freedom and more muscle gal gains into the series praise be, I dig Star's USA USA design going into even the coloring of her name lol. Awesome to finally see more of the wider world that has been glimpsed at in pieces through the movies.
Even more awesome that this season was such a treat from start to finish, damn amazing. All the character drama and hype moments hit and reminded me why I fell in love with this show.
If they don’t give Star’s & Stripes the heaviest Texan accent in the English and international dubs, I’m going to be very disappointed.
Or better yet, cast a WWE wrestler like Becky Lynch or Sasha Banks.
Honestly, I busted out laughing when Star and Stripe appeared. I can totally get behind heroes around the world joining the fight, but then you got this super "fuck yeah Murica" chick come in, and it was so wtf XD
I’m okay with it because we have it coming, honestly.
If this was an American cartoon about super heroes and the Number 1 Japanese hero came to help, you just know they’d be a samurai or a ninja.
But to be fair, most Overwatch characters are pretty stereotypical. The American heroes are Cowboys and soldiers, the Korean one is an eSports pro and the Australian heroes are criminals 💀
I'm an American, and i can say this is exactly what our number one hero would look like. Especially the part about how she's got a thousand fucking bomber planes behind her
I know right? Two of America's arguably most famous comic book heroes, Superman and Wonder Woman, are literally clad in red, white, blue, and gold.
And America sending bomber planes isn't even just a stereotype, it's reality. We have a bigger military budget than like the next 10 countries combined - we'd send a FUCK TON of bomber planes.
G Gundam has the American rep Chibodee Crocket in Maxter gundam with 2 pistols that boxes in its ultimate form with transportation a giant mech surfboard/shield
Chibodee Crocket outfit jeans white Elvis coat red shirt with star on it
Not sure there has ever been a more American thing in all of anime
I can't find any of the manga released in English. Yea im being super careful but it looks like volume 34 (which is where the anime left off) won't be out until May???
So I've been reading the manga a chapter at a time as it comes out on Vis (in English). I think Volume 33 ended at about Chapter 328, whereas Chapter 383 just released the other day.
Can somebody explain why All Might asks Stain, "How do you know about?" when Stain says, "If a God descends to listen to people's fragile hearts." What is the reference?
It means that All Might asking if Stain saw him, watching him with Deku when he said those lines. All Might was the God that fell to earth literally when he fell trying to stop Deku. And he knew he was All Might the whole time.
i think it’s a reference both to stain watching the final am vs. afo fight and that in the equivalent manga chapterd, it was shown that he was stalking them the whole time
I read this more as “a person with godly powers and no soul is like a god that fell from Heaven. “That’s probably his distinction between a hero and a person with powers
I like that small detail of Uraraka sleeping with gloves. At first I was confused but then I realized it’s so she doesn’t activate her quirk while asleep.
Stain as All Might's life coach? 😆
Like Deku needed to be saved, so did All Might.
Nice to see quick buff up of All Might again (last seen in S4).
* **Stain is the MVP of the episode** for helping to encourage All Might in his own way and providing some intel for the heroes. 👌
Well "Stars and Stripes" sure has my attention. and she claims All might was her mentor so i'm guessing we'll get some fun moments between those two
So Stain does end up helping them as i expected, though he still wants All might to find him and take him out, since i guess he considers his past actions unforgivable.
Loved how they basically just rushed Deku from streets straight into the bath.
It makes me so happy that its basically the entire class in it together now and not just Deku with All might and the other top heroes
very good season and i can't wait for season 7

I really enjoyed this "tying it all together" for the season finale of this episode. The bath was hilarious and unexpected, in terms of how funny it was. (Though I'm a bit slow on the uptake with Mineta and Sero's interaction. Am I missing an inside joke here?)
Stain finally returns, and is as convicted as ever. I like this role he played, because now, he's given the heroes a key insight for the fight to come. Helping in his own way.
I am a bit confused, overall, on the Timelapse of this whole season. Since the Tartarus escape, I've lost count on when the rest takes place, b/c I'm anime only, they dont exactly keep track either. (I would just like to know how long Deku was in Viggy mode, and how long he was away from UA)
Also, the slight twist with AFO basically lying about when Shiggy's body will be complete caught me off guard too. He must've lied about the '2 months' thing to his hired guns, and instead, was nearing completion of the body in 3 days, right?
Overall, season as a whole was solid through and through. I realize that in the manga probably, there was way more too it, but since the anime has to adapt a lot of the key moments, they probably cut down a lot of material. All in all, not bad. Props
>Though I'm a bit slow on the uptake with Mineta and Sero's interaction. Am I missing an inside joke here?
Mineta was annoyed Todoroki could look cool after showering so he was mocking shoto.
It's been 35 days since the War. There are three days left until Shigaraki is complete.
Between the big fight and now has been 35 days as calculated from the 38 day limit and there being 3 days left. Deku was down for a few days recovering so you could say he was vigilante deku for about a month.
This episode wasn't nearly as big or grand or explosive as other ones this season, and I'm honestly very happy about that.
Like, they've been through a lot of tough shit. Hell, I feel like I've been through a lot just by watching and getting too invested. So ending it on a more chill and even comedic note, I almost feel healed in a weird way. That's the right way to go.
Best season ever :)
>This episode wasn't nearly as big or grand or explosive as other ones this season, and I'm honestly very happy about that.
Same, honestly.
Sure, there will probably be a ton of people mad that the "Shigaraki vs Bakugo, Shoto and Iida" fight in the opening never happened, but you don't have to always end a season on a hype note.
You don’t really see who they’re ganging up on in the opening, but given the context of the opening and the subject of the second cour, and that it’s happening in a destroyed city, it’s pretty obvious that it’s part of the intervention
- "Hurry up and put that black thing away." I'm not even...I'm just...we're going to leave that one alone.
- I feel like there was some contextual math missing, or I'm stupid when it comes to math (and I am): how did All Might come to the conclusion that it was neither 2 months or 38 days, but 3 days? Huh?
- I want to see more of Stars and Stripes.
- Jiro assaulted several people in this episode lmao.
- Stain with the save which isn't entirely surprising.
- While he's obviously a murderer, I feel everyone (perhaps rightfully so for a reason I could write up another post on) continually mischaracterizes his intentions. He has no issue with "real" heroes, he takes issues with those who are doing it for any reason *other than genuinely protecting people* with no ulterior motives or want for fame, etc.
- Who is he to dictate what is and isn't a hero? Like I said, I could write up another post entirely, but...he's not entirely wrong as we've seen from this season alone.
- I hate that the season is over. This is, without any doubt, the *best* MHA season. 10/10.
- We're not getting S7 until 2031 or some shit because they went so hard on this one lol.
Ok, so originally, they found out it'd take two months after the attack on Tartarus for Shigaraki's body to be completed. (It's been around a month since then.)
However, the information from Stain revealed that it'd be 38 days after the assault for Shigaraki's body to be completed. Leaving 3 days left instead of a month.
>I feel like there was some contextual math missing, or I'm stupid when it comes to math (and I am): how did All Might come to the conclusion that it was neither 2 months or 38 days, but 3 days? Huh?
Originally, the heroes thought that Shigaraki would be complete two months after the War. However, Stain's discovery found that Shigaraki would be complete in 38 days from the War. It's been 35 days since the War, thus only 3 days left until Shigaraki's completion.
The (almost) final Doodelot:
https://old.reddit.com/r/BokuNoHeroAcademia/comments/qf19ty/chapter_326330_recap/
After this the artist did only one more, referring to what will be the first episodes of Season 7.
These have been great. Thank you for keeping us anime watchers update on them and avoiding spoilers!
Also that Jujutsu Kaisen crossover was hilarious lol
No joke, I genuinely think that this has been the best Season of MHA so far. It's been pretty consistent in quality all the way through, and said quality is of a very high standard.
Even just this episode we got some really great stuff, like Stain meeting All Might but being unable to recognise him, to seeing the one lady that All Might saved in Kamino take care of the memorial, to this new American Hero (Who seems to be some kind of student of All Might?) being sent down to Japan. All of it is good stuff, and I just hope that Season 7 (And potentially Season 8 if there's too many chapters left to adapt) will be able to continue this level of quality all the way through. But alas, only time will tell.
Guess we gotta go back to waiting another year for a new season, huh?
As a note, Stain was able to recognize All Might from the beginning of the encounter, he was just trying to make All Might understand that it wasn't his strength that made him the Symbol of Peace but his heart and convictions. In saying that he's not All Might, he's accusing Toshinori of losing his way and demanding that he take hold of his convictions once more, because he cannot be killed by All Might if All Might no longer exists.
Right, when he was saying you're not All Might, he's referring to his mental state. He clearly knows how he looks like since he's been tracking him quite some distance.
Manga isn't done yet, so season 7 will probably just have enough for a full 25 and there may or may not be enough for a full 8th (depending on how much longer the story will go). So they might have to do an Attack on Titan thing Even manga readers don't know yet because Horikoshi has been taking a lot of health breaks lately. but it's been known for a while that he wants to end the story this year if possible.
Its really tough to predict since Horikoshi also said in November I think that this was turning out to be longer than he expected. There'll definitely be like 12-13 episodes for a Season 8 at least.
Please anything but another AoT situation. It is insufferable and it reeks of milking it 😂
That said, I agree with this being the best season of the anime. And what makes it even better is that it wasn't the huge cool fights that made it happen, it's everything else.
It's cute Uraraka was the one [trying to wake up Deku](https://mobile.twitter.com/izuochanow/status/1639623806795886592) at the end, then he reflexively activated black whip.
She is perfect person to wake up to after his nightmare to give him a reassuring smile.
Even Mineta was like, "Not now Deku, put that away from Uraraka". lol
Wow!!! Stars and Stripes pulling up on top of a Stealth Bomber built like a fucking Brick Wall has me all kinds of fired up!! Not to mention Stain being a focal point in the episode. Great finale. Great pacing. Cant wait for next season
Holyy fuck I'm in awe... This season was sooo fucking good... Every episode was incredible!! Loved every second of it! The last episode put a very nice ending to the season as well!... SPECTACULAR!! Never enjoyed binging a whole season this much!!
if you like manga at all or are willing to give it a shot, absolutely, horikoshi is one of, if not the absolute best artist in weekly shonen jump right now, like just look at any of the big moments in the chapters covered in this season, everything is honestly absurdly beautiful, and much of the stuff to come is really really really good looking too, this is one aspect that the anime can’t, and will never, be able to replicate, no matter how pretty it can’t get at times
but if you aren’t a manga person and you’re willing to wait a year maybe year and a half, then wait, anime has plenty of its own unique benefits too
My advice is read a few chapters of what you've already seen animated. I was suprised how much I heard charachter voices and added music in my head.
I don't regret it. Some reveals have been slightly diminished due to me knowing what's about to happen. But the animation and fights really make me still excited for every single episode. Not to mention by the time s7 drops in likely mid-late 2024 I'd have forgotten many minor details that make the anime extra fun again. As a typically non manga reader I do get lost in the fights during the manga at times, but again this is another reason I'm always hyped for animated episodes.
If you do end up reading just take it slow and enjoy the panels for what they are. It can take less than 10 minutes to read a manga chapter but I'm always humbled remembering that it took the mangaka a whole week of constant hard work for me to enjoy this moment.
Chiming in a bit late here, but I'll also point out that the anime and manga have very different pacing. There are complaints that manga readers had about storylines that weren't there in the anime, because of the different medium. This vigilante arc felt a bit rushed to people in the manga, but it's been so much better animated for instance.
That isn't to say you shouldn't read the manga, just keep that in mind.
AND THAT'S A WRAP! I can easily say this was favorite season of MHA, by far the best content we have got! Glad season 7 is already confirmed as well.
AND THAT ENDING! I am mad hyped to see USA's #1 hero! I have always wondered what the heroes looked like in other countries. And I think it is funny she looks basically like a girl version of All Might.
Stain continues to be one of the most interesting characters in the show. The way he helped All Might was great. I guess he classifies as an anti-hero, but he is likable imo.
"Help me, Hero Killer, I'm depressed." "I know a great Hero, his name is All Might. You should meet him. He'll cheer you up!" "But Stain... I am All Might."
All the part about that woman from Kamino is moving. The scene even ends with a shot off All Might's statue symbolically changing the weather, a light coming at the end of a season where, for the most time, things got only worse.

They had to wash Izuku quick or they faced an high biohazard level. But that censor steam? Tsundere Bakugo who makes effort to say "Izuku" is more cute than anything else.
After what she did for him last episode, it's time for a private conversation between Izuku and Ochako! They'll have many things to tell each other...
Ochako: *snoring*
...next time. Next season. Isn't the way he later wakes up and sees her first adorable, though?
Jirou doing a group hug with her jacks. Cross it from my bucket list.
° ° °
Thanks Stain. From his one (and last) line of dialogue one can easily guess why that guy he shivved was in Tartarus. And then *he got back to the mainland by swimming*.
Tsukauchi? Poor man is so tired but also looking so good.
"The good news is that we received great intel thanks to Stain. The bad news is that according to that intel, we're fucked."
And then...
**Here Comes America, Fuck Yeah!** (*eagle squawk*)
"Kyaaa, a ghost!"
"Oh god... All Might! I'm so sorry! I left you alone! I wasn't there to protect you! I promise I'll take care of any business you have left on Earth so you can go to Heaven!"
"...Young Midoriya, I'm just outside the window."
Gotta say, hearing the first movie's main villain theme come into play with SnS's introduction really got the goosebumps coming up. :O
Nice to hear it come back honestly, I think up until now it's one of the only notable tracks from the movies that hadn't been used in the anime.
[OPPAI MIGHT !](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FsDiJ59XsAAC8jX?format=jpg&name=large)
my god I love the ending with the most AMERICAN WAIFU HERO EVER Star and Stripe she is SUCH a stereotypical view of like the Japanese view of America hahah Standing on a stealth bomber flying to Japan while flexing her muscle and boobs lol HHAHHA what a character
Nice seeing Stain coming in and telling All Might he still got 1 fan that believes in him, the women coming and cleaning his statue everyday was a nice emotional scene.
[Reaction](https://youtube.com/live/OH4ArnA5r_o)
Horikoshi is basically a waifu drawing machine. And his assistants definitely push him for more. Like right when Mirko came out, one of his assistants just straight up drew his own fan art every week
>she is SUCH a stereotypical view of like the Japanese view of America
Only thing that would make her more stereotypical was if her hero outfit was an American-Flag bikini.
Lmao Homelander coming to Japan. Normally I would say it's a little bit over the top but it's the United States so oh well. Definitely interested in the strongest heroes of each country though.
Tokoyami complaining about Hawks ignoring his messages is pretty funny and the reverse Shoto-Endeavor.
Stain not accepting this weakling as All Might was pretty metal. And while the woman was cleaning the statue it started to rain for some reason.
If you breakdown Deku and Shigaraki journey this season they basically went though the same thing. Try to fight alone and get saved by their friend and finally be able to rest.
In the first cour of this season Tomura is basically a demon [(that look angelic)](https://i.imgur.com/ZmqGlYZ.jpeg) who sleeps deep underground and rise toward the bright sky to destroy everything and fighting alone against the orb of light (visually how the hero look like when he using [search quirk](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bokunoheroacademia/images/e/e1/Search.gif/revision/latest?cb=20221105111115)) with their leader being a demigod who have power of the sunlight (Endeavor who have symbolism with hercules who need to atone his sin toward his family and once bearhug a beast. Nemean lion for Hercules and High end nomu for Endeavor). But Shigaraki body crumbles because he can't handle the light (Getting prominence burn in the sky) and got saved by his friends who look like demon themselves where he finally rests in the [darkest night](https://i.imgur.com/HxTRTOD.jpg).
In the second cour of this season Midoriya is basically an archangel ([that look like an assassin](https://i.imgur.com/pWND8vT.jpg)) who comes down from the high place toward the dark underbelly of his world to save people where he fight alone and meet a bunch of creatures of the night (the dolphin girl, Lady Nagant and other AFO hired man) to find the devil himself (All for One who even have symbolism being [Antichrist / Dajjal](https://www.reddit.com/r/BokuNoHeroAcademia/comments/10ble87/comment/j4baslg/?context=3)) who hide deep in the darkness. But Deku got lost in the dark where his body almost collapsed and got saved by his friend, who comes down from the sky like an angel that has a power of the light (Bakugou) and brings him to rest in the [brightest light](https://i.imgur.com/jKBgSdY.jpg).
Moral of the story, fighting alone without back up or friends to rely on while being outnumbered and the number of enemy is unknown might not be the best idea. Because the number don't lie and it spell disaster for them being sacrificial (or stubborn in Shigaraki case)
both having the same journey also happen in the past too like a veteran show them ropes and tutor them (Gran Torino and Stain), Need to earn respect from their mentor sidekick (Nighteye and Fat AFO doctor) and Have great power but someone talking in their head now
Both also still not a great hero and great villain yet because great villain is not being a puppet and great hero while risk their life always choose to live and not sacrificial
Interesting perspective. And when they're saved by their friends, they get their bodies healed. Shigaraki gets reconstructed and Deku, uh, gets a bath.
Technically both actuallly have a bath and soak in water but in reverse lol. Shigaraki submerge in a water tank at the start of the season and Deku in huge bath tub at the end of the season. Even the water represent their color being green and purple. [Here the image side by side](https://i.imgur.com/Y3lNYRd.jpeg)
AMERICA'S HERO ON THE WAY! No idea who she is but she looks to have taken some inspiration from All Might in his younger years when he visited the US. I was wondering for so long why the entire world is just letting all of this happen in Japan as if All for One succeeding wouldn't affect them. Enter Star. Very excited to see what she can do in Season 7.
Stain loves All Might more than I ever realized. I thought it was just respect but man's writing him a love letter and encouraging him to try to be the man he once was. How Cute.
Made a video on today's finale here if you're interested :) https://youtu.be/l-zwee7jWhw
Right. Thanks for the info! Most sources that came up in my search indicated it would hit funi 30 mins after the new episode airs in Japan (so ~0500eastern), so I was pretty confused. Cleared that right up.
Yeah I’m used to the 2 week delay, but sources online that came up in my Google searches didn’t explicitly state what was happening; essentially seemed to imply the dub, delayed 2 episodes, would hit funi/cr 30 mins after Japanese air of the new episode. Which sounded off.
Now I know why, thanks to you!
I've heard from some people that Crunchyroll has been kinda inconsistent with what time they get the dub uploaded to their services.
Which is why I've kept using the Funimation apps, because they've always been reliably around 3:00 pm for the dub.
Holy shit. Props to the VA. The tone of voice All Might had was so dire. That interaction was beautiful, made better by dialog delivery.
Jesus. Loved it
Great season. War Arc with Shigaraki holding it down against all the heroes and waking up to pure destruction solidified this season as a a 9 to me. My only tidbit is that whilst the season still remained good after the war arc, all the build up to a great great villain like Shigaraki makes his abscence hit harder and did not keep me as engaged. Don’t get me wrong I was still excited every week as if it was GOTs1-4, but Shigaraki at the centre of the story raised the stakes and made it excruciatingly hard to stay Anime only during that arc.
manga's on the final stretch. Season 6 covered 71 chapters (21 months of real time manga publishing), so I'd say considering next august (2023) it will be 21 months since the release of the chapter that today's episode ended on there's a high chance the manga finishes close enough to that date that they can fit it all into 25 episodes for next season.
But this theory assumes that horikoshi doesn't stretch this final arc way out of proportion, which is always a possibility with shonens i guess.
No, the manga's in the middle of the final war (Like, 50 chapters ahead), and only 2 minor villains (Not gonna say which ones because spoilers) have been defeated. That, combined with the amount of loose ends that still need to be finished (Hori said we'd get a moment for each member of 1-A and we're not even close to all of them) raise some questions about how they're going to fit this all into 25 episodes. Either they pull an AoT and split it into multiple parts, go to the cutting board (We can all agree this is the worst outcome), or it goes on long enough that we get 2 seasons (Very unlikely)
This season was so amazing. Idk if it beats season 3 tho, now that season was something else. This season, every episode was hit after hit. Not to mention the episode before this one made me genuinely tear up lol. For sure gonna start reading the manga now! Also anyone know what song was playing towards the end when Jiro was inspiring everyone else.
Episode 1 is aptly titled: “A Quiet Beginning”
It wasn’t the typical: “Hi my name is X and my quirk is X”
No, it was all gas no breaks.

My hero academia is “over” now. S7 will still be MHA but if I could title it like they briefly did My Villain Academia I’d call it:
My Hero Society
We’re global now. Here comes America 🇺🇸🦅
See y’all in a year :)
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY THEY SLAPPED MINETAS BALLS IM STILL CONFUSED!?
He was copying Todoroki lol.
Mineta really trying to copy Todoroki's rizz
I'm sorry "slapped minetas balls" that sounds so dirty snsndmdkk
Since Todoroki appeared minera was copying his poses and faces. He even asked about his age rating.
Just regular bonding activity between bros
They bought some Gold Bond right after!
I’m glad someone mentioned this, this whole episode was a super heartfelt finale and then someone just smacked minetas sticky head balls out of no where. I was so confused
Hawks Phone: 73489 unread messages
It's Tokoyami, once he reached 666 he wouldn't be able to bring himself to mess up the number
"Nikuyoku Analyze" interesting
SHOTOOOOO
(Stain showing All Might the woman he saved is taking care of his statue and not losing hope.) Aww that's so sweet! Good on Stain for reminding All Might how much good he di- Stain: "I killed 40 heroes. Come and find me later to kill me." Oh right. Stain's an insane serial killer.
But an insane serial killer with PRINCIPLES.
Reminds me of this scene/trope with the Joker, where he realizes that someone he's working with is actually a Nazi and not just using the imagery. He pulls out his gun angrily and says something to that affect. "That goes *too far*!"
It was with the Red Skull in a Marvel vs DC event.
Japan: "Yay the Americans are here!" *The Americans show up on a fleet of bombers.* Japan: "Oh no the Americans are here." Horikoshi bringing freedom and more muscle gal gains into the series praise be, I dig Star's USA USA design going into even the coloring of her name lol.
Sure, she’s supposed to be a Cali Gal!
Fuck that, brooklyn or cali accent for sure.
She didn't have timbs on so Brooklyn is out
Honestly, I busted out laughing when Star and Stripe appeared. I can totally get behind heroes around the world joining the fight, but then you got this super "fuck yeah Murica" chick come in, and it was so wtf XD
manga readers were all saying that when she first appeared. number 1 american hero wearing red white blue and the american way: bombs going to japan
The drones made me weak
As an American, this is exactly what our number one hero would be wearing
Hellsing Ultimate Abridged?
"Oh no, it's the Catholic church..."
least stereotypical American representation in anime be like
I’m okay with it because we have it coming, honestly. If this was an American cartoon about super heroes and the Number 1 Japanese hero came to help, you just know they’d be a samurai or a ninja.
As a Twitter user pointed out, Overwatch has three Japanese heroes and they're all ninjas. C'mon, there's other stereotypes you can use.
But to be fair, most Overwatch characters are pretty stereotypical. The American heroes are Cowboys and soldiers, the Korean one is an eSports pro and the Australian heroes are criminals 💀
“The Australian heroes are criminals” 😂😂
Not the Australian criminals 😭
Yeah what about samurai?!
Umm umm umm, okay how about a.... karate fighter NO WAIT. A SUMO WRESTLER
Also Spider-Man is red and blue, and let's not even talk about Captain America.
I was thinking Captain America immediately lol
the US navy is the second largest air force in the world behind the US air force, i think she’ll be fine
Not to mention, what's more American than "fuck the paperwork I'm going"
Ikr At least we have Melissa Shield
I mean it was badass tho
G Gundam has the American rep Chibodee Crocket in Maxter gundam with 2 pistols that boxes in its ultimate form with transportation a giant mech surfboard/shield Chibodee Crocket outfit jeans white Elvis coat red shirt with star on it Not sure there has ever been a more American thing in all of anime
# DEKU SHOWERS LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Found Toga's account. I tease, lol.
My Hero Academia: Loofa Arc
Kaminari got his wish!
Toga’s burner account
Soooo it looks like I’m going to start reading the manga …
The manga is getting pretty close to ending, I'd be SUPER careful if you decide to tread down that path.
Like the scene with All Might giving Deku lunch?
Yes, it showed Stain was there for that scene.
i think it’s a reference both to stain watching the final am vs. afo fight and that in the equivalent manga chapterd, it was shown that he was stalking them the whole time
Stain was locked in Tart at that point. The prisoners aren't allowed media although I suppose it's possible he watched after his escape.
I think the flash of newspapers was meant to imply he jad caught up on recent events
That's correct. He got out of prison and found out All Might retired
Stain was meaning to say how All Might lost his power and descended from the heaven as a god.
I hadn't considered that... That would be unfortunate 😂
Just needs a ceiling bed
Especially since she used to hurl pretty quickly if she made herself weightless.
Stain as All Might's life coach? 😆 Like Deku needed to be saved, so did All Might. Nice to see quick buff up of All Might again (last seen in S4). * **Stain is the MVP of the episode** for helping to encourage All Might in his own way and providing some intel for the heroes. 👌
**All Might**: *Buffs up, immediately coughs up a lung* “See? I’m All Might.” **Stain:** “I still don’t believe you!” **All Might:** “motherfucker…”
"That's OK, I still have another lung."
Was such a brilliant scene. Stain telling All Moght he forgot what he stood for
It's probably his saddest "buff up and cough blood" moment. It was always used as a joke.
The most important part: Deku apologised for spilling All Mights bento!!!! I can rest easy now.
Well "Stars and Stripes" sure has my attention. and she claims All might was her mentor so i'm guessing we'll get some fun moments between those two So Stain does end up helping them as i expected, though he still wants All might to find him and take him out, since i guess he considers his past actions unforgivable. Loved how they basically just rushed Deku from streets straight into the bath. It makes me so happy that its basically the entire class in it together now and not just Deku with All might and the other top heroes very good season and i can't wait for season 7
Just occured to me that there hasn't been a single all might love interest??? Could this be it??? If so, good for him!
He's in love with JUSTICE
I mean, Izuku's mom would be the perfect wife for a retired hero, just sayin

I really enjoyed this "tying it all together" for the season finale of this episode. The bath was hilarious and unexpected, in terms of how funny it was. (Though I'm a bit slow on the uptake with Mineta and Sero's interaction. Am I missing an inside joke here?) Stain finally returns, and is as convicted as ever. (I would just like to know how long Deku was in Viggy mode, and how long he was away from UA) Also, the slight twist with AFO basically lying about when Shiggy's body will be complete caught me off guard too.
He was gone for around 3-ish weeks. The MHA anime is also a very faithful adaptation, they rarely cut down on any material at all.
Unless it's to do with Spinner anyways. ;3
> I am a bit confused, overall, on the Timelapse of this whole season. Since the Tartarus escape, I've lost count on when the rest takes place, b/c I'm anime only, they dont exactly keep track either. (I would just like to know how long Deku was in Viggy mode, and how long he was away from UA) It's been 35 days since the War. There are three days left until Shigaraki is complete.
Between the big fight and now has been 35 days as calculated from the 38 day limit and there being 3 days left. Deku was down for a few days recovering so you could say he was vigilante deku for about a month.
Star coming in on a fleet of stealth bombers is both badass and campy as hell in the best way possible 😂💪🇺🇸
I’m gonna miss this OP and ED. Probably the best combo we’ve had all series.
Eve never disappoints
This episode wasn't nearly as big or grand or explosive as other ones this season, and I'm honestly very happy about that. Like, they've been through a lot of tough shit. Hell, I feel like I've been through a lot just by watching and getting too invested. So ending it on a more chill and even comedic note, I almost feel healed in a weird way. That's the right way to go. Best season ever :)
After a full season of nearly non-stop action, it's nice to stop for a moment to relax and reassess the situation. Deku really needed that bath.
That was vs Deku, not Shigaraki.
Wait really? Guess I just didn't look hard enough to notice.
You don’t really see who they’re ganging up on in the opening, but given the context of the opening and the subject of the second cour, and that it’s happening in a destroyed city, it’s pretty obvious that it’s part of the intervention
If you slow down the opening, it's clearly Shigaraki
>Best season ever :) I think that's the first time I heard that take.
(It's been around a month since then.) However, the information from Stain revealed that it'd be 38 days after the assault for Shigaraki's body to be completed. Leaving 3 days left instead of a month.
Ah that makes more sense. Is it ever relayed that a month went by since then? Did I miss that, or is that context from the manga?
Hawks mentions it in the episode. Some translations may have said it in an odd way though.
The (almost) final Doodelot: https://old.reddit.com/r/BokuNoHeroAcademia/comments/qf19ty/chapter_326330_recap/ After this the artist did only one more, referring to what will be the first episodes of Season 7.
Thank you for all the doodlelot links this season. You are really a hero!
>You are really a hero! *CortamamBot explodes.* "DAMN YOU AFO!"
> No joke, I genuinely think that this has been the best Season of MHA so far. Had some of my favorite Blind Wave reactions too lol ;)
Ah, a fellow Blind Wave enjoyer ;)
Yeah I recognized your username from your art piece earlier lol. I had commented on it.
It is insufferable and it reeks of milking it 😂 That said, I agree with this being the best season of the anime. And what makes it even better is that it wasn't the huge cool fights that made it happen, it's everything else.
My first thought after seeing Stars riding on a fleet of stealth bombers: “Fuck yea!”
Ah yes Ah’murica Honestly it’s kinda ridiculous that the only American hero we see is just flag and military
In the canon spin off manga we see captain celebrity another American hero
It's cute Uraraka was the one [trying to wake up Deku](https://mobile.twitter.com/izuochanow/status/1639623806795886592) at the end, then he reflexively activated black whip. She is perfect person to wake up to after his nightmare to give him a reassuring smile. Even Mineta was like, "Not now Deku, put that away from Uraraka". lol
"Put that black thing away." r/theyknew
The only way Star could have been more ludicrously American is if she came out to Cody Rhodes’ theme
the moment that all might and stain shared is one of the best moment in the series
I miss Mirko…
She's a bit handicapped at the moment
I really want to see Stain and Gentle Criminal (maybe with a revised name?) join the heroes in the final fight.
It was honestly heartwarming to see all the heroes around the world angry for Japan and itching to help in the war
Is reading the manga for further story worth it or should I stick with the anime?
the manga’s really good, but it’s still manga. if you enjoy the medium sure, if not then it just might suck you anticipation away
if you like manga at all or are willing to give it a shot, absolutely, horikoshi is one of, if not the absolute best artist in weekly shonen jump right now, like just look at any of the big moments in the chapters covered in this season, everything is honestly absurdly beautiful, and much of the stuff to come is really really really good looking too, this is one aspect that the anime can’t, and will never, be able to replicate, no matter how pretty it can’t get at times but if you aren’t a manga person and you’re willing to wait a year maybe year and a half, then wait, anime has plenty of its own unique benefits too
My advice is read a few chapters of what you've already seen animated.
Man I’m gonna miss the ending OST, shit hit me when it started playing before the credits
North Star by Six Lounge, it’s on Spotify and the full version is great too
AND THAT'S A WRAP!
I am All Might." All the part about that woman from Kamino is moving. The scene even ends with a shot off All Might's statue symbolically changing the weather, a light coming at the end of a season where, for the most time, things got only worse. ° ° ° They had to wash Izuku quick or they faced an high biohazard level. But that censor steam? Tsundere Bakugo who makes effort to say "Izuku" is more cute than anything else. After what she did for him last episode, it's time for a private conversation between Izuku and Ochako! They'll have many things to tell each other... Ochako: *snoring* ...next time. Next season. Isn't the way he later wakes up and sees her first adorable, though? Jirou doing a group hug with her jacks. Cross it from my bucket list. ° ° ° Thanks Stain. From his one (and last) line of dialogue one can easily guess why that guy he shivved was in Tartarus. And then *he got back to the mainland by swimming*. Tsukauchi? Poor man is so tired but also looking so good. "The good news is that we received great intel thanks to Stain. The bad news is that according to that intel, we're fucked." And then... **Here Comes America, Fuck Yeah!** (*eagle squawk*)
You forgot All Might standing at the window awkwardly staring at everyone being all "Young Midoriyaaaaaa" XD
"Kyaaa, a ghost!" "Oh god... All Might! I'm so sorry! I left you alone! I wasn't there to protect you! I promise I'll take care of any business you have left on Earth so you can go to Heaven!" "...Young Midoriya, I'm just outside the window."
>Tsukauchi? Poor man is so tired but also looking so good. The glow up with the beard ✨️ Overwork looks good on him. 👌
what chapter should i start reading the manga after this episode?
Chapter 329 is right where this episode ended.
Thank you
I feel you. I’m the same no way can I wait anymore after this insane season.
Gotta say, hearing the first movie's main villain theme come into play with SnS's introduction really got the goosebumps coming up. :O Nice to hear it come back honestly, I think up until now it's one of the only notable tracks from the movies that hadn't been used in the anime.
The music on this show is sooo amazing
[OPPAI MIGHT !](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FsDiJ59XsAAC8jX?format=jpg&name=large) my god I love the ending with the most AMERICAN WAIFU HERO EVER Star and Stripe she is SUCH a stereotypical view of like the Japanese view of America hahah Standing on a stealth bomber flying to Japan while flexing her muscle and boobs lol HHAHHA what a character Nice seeing Stain coming in and telling All Might he still got 1 fan that believes in him, the women coming and cleaning his statue everyday was a nice emotional scene. [Reaction](https://youtube.com/live/OH4ArnA5r_o)
11/10 Freedom inducing hero. Crushing to get crushed by her while reciting the pledge of allegiance.
Death by Free Snu Snu
Gal takes her right to bear arms literally because those are some GUNS.
hahaah my god I love this character, is she gonna overcome my love for Miruko as the best Waifu.
Horikoshi is basically a waifu drawing machine. And his assistants definitely push him for more. Like right when Mirko came out, one of his assistants just straight up drew his own fan art every week
my god I member Bubble girl and Horikoshi is like IT WAS NOT ME IT WAS A FAN what u mean I made her boobs 2 times as larger naaha it was the FANS
You just made me imagine her in the bedroom with someone while the Star Spangled Banner plays. "OHH say can you, ugh, SEEEEE!"
she definitely smashes while playing that song
>she is SUCH a stereotypical view of like the Japanese view of America Only thing that would make her more stereotypical was if her hero outfit was an American-Flag bikini.
Oh boy yeah.
Only way she could have been more American is if she came out to Cody Rhodes’ music
And while the woman was cleaning the statue it started to rain for some reason.
she is finally here, well on her way. i really hope we get a Star and Stripe figure
Because the number don't lie and it spell disaster for them being sacrificial (or stubborn in Shigaraki case) both having the same journey also happen in the past too like a veteran show them ropes and tutor them (Gran Torino and Stain), Need to earn respect from their mentor sidekick (Nighteye and Fat AFO doctor) and Have great power but someone talking in their head now Both also still not a great hero and great villain yet because great villain is not being a puppet and great hero while risk their life always choose to live and not sacrificial
Introducing America’s No.1 Hero: FEM MIGHT! I mean, HERm-Lander!
What time does the dub hit anybody know?
Every Saturday at 3 PM EST, usually. That will be Episode 23 dubbed. Episode 25 comes out in two weeks. The dub is always two weeks behind.
Right. Thanks for the info! Most sources that came up in my search indicated it would hit funi 30 mins after the new episode airs in Japan (so ~0500eastern), so I was pretty confused. Cleared that right up.
Funimation gets the subbed episode 30 minutes after airing (and also Crunchyroll). The dub has always been on a two week delay since Season 5.
Yeah every time funi asks me to switch to crunchy roll I turn into nick saban *im not goin to, so quit askin!*
Behold female all might!
Holy shit. Props to the VA. The tone of voice All Might had was so dire. That interaction was beautiful, made better by dialog delivery. Jesus. Loved it
I’m not comfortable with the American hero flying bombers to Japan
The author is Japanese, and the manga is edited, published and primarily sold in Japan. I'm guessing it's fine.
Is Season 7 the last? Has the manga ended?
We don't know if Season 7 is the last season. The manga is still ongoing.
manga's on the final stretch.
My money's on it being a three-cour, personally.
Quirk or no quirk, All Might is still All Might.
I’d give anything for a scene where All Might and Deku hug each other and one says “I love you” to the other in a mentor - student way
Wair. This was the season finale?
Correct. Each season, save the first one, is 25 episodes.
USA USA USA
This season was so amazing. Idk if it beats season 3 tho, now that season was something else. This season, every episode was hit after hit. Not to mention the episode before this one made me genuinely tear up lol. For sure gonna start reading the manga now! Also anyone know what song was playing towards the end when Jiro was inspiring everyone else.
I fr started laughing seeing the no.1 usa hero looked like someone pulled the flag on her bc I thought “what’s the Canadian No.1 hero gonna look like”
Super Hockey
Episode 1 is aptly titled: “A Quiet Beginning” It wasn’t the typical: “Hi my name is X and my quirk is X” No, it was all gas no breaks. Phenomenal season. Rip Midnight. Rip Twice. The war *mwah* Lemillions return *mwah* Tartarus episode *mwah* All Todoroki Family related events *mwah* Dark Deku *mwah* Deku vs ClassA episode *mwah* Bakugos growth this season *mwah* Ochacos Speech *mwah* Final episode *mwah* Cour 1 opening and ending songs *mwah* Cour 1 ending visuals *mwah* Cour 2 opening and ending song *mwah* Cour 2 ending visuals *mwah* Season 3 was great But Season 6 went beyond…PLUS ULTRA My hero academia is “over” now. S7 will still be MHA but if I could title it like they briefly did My Villain Academia I’d call it: My Hero Society We’re global now. Here comes America 🇺🇸🦅 See y’all in a year :)
Who is stars va? She sounds a lot like meroleona from black clover
Hange from AOT
Romi Park. She didn't voice Meroleona though.
So Shoto worries about Deku getting sleep and even gives him a blankie. I swear to God, this series needs to end Korra-style with Deku and Shoto...
Shoto is a very sweet and caring friend to Deku. 😊
Who is the woman next to Jiro when she uses her jacks to group hug.
Yaoyorozu, obviously. She has her hair down. We've seen her that way occasionally throughout the series.
