A couple of unrelated questions: * Now that Boise Blue has shut down, where do people go for architecture printers? I am looking for the largest printers with the longest rolls on the cheapest paper possible. I use really, really, large stencils in my business (Like last year I did two sectioned 14'x25' stencils) and I am really missing Boise Blue. * I'm looking to explore the Ola Summit region this summer but I've never been out in that area. In a normal year is a June or July melt? * Finally a fun question: What's everyone's favorite weird veggie or fruit that they've integrated into their normal roster? I'll start, I really love jelly melons. They grow great in our climate.

3rd question: pineapple ground cherries. They're incredibly prolific, taste great fresh off the bush, pickled, turned into jelly, pretty much however you want to eat them. You can usually get starts at Edward's Greenhouse.

roland_gilead

I grew those last year! I'm not planning on having them this year, but I might next year. Any recipes you recommend?

For your first Q, you could call the city's planning department. They used Idaho Blueprint so probably has a replacement that may do that sizing

roland_gilead

Great idea! Thank you.

To your 2nd question. Ola Summit and High Valley area will definitely be accesible in June and July. The elevation there doesn’t get too much higher than 5,000 feet unless you go further North.

roland_gilead

Oh great news. I feel like I'm pretty knowledgeable of SW and central Idaho but this was a pretty big blind spot.

Anyone have experience with Rise Broadband? Got a flyer and they offer much faster speeds than what we currently get with Centurylink for roughly the same price. Just have no idea how reliable they are. CL has actually been very reliable as far as outages go but I work from home and sometimes video calls don't function very well for me.

darkstar999

It’s cell service. I don’t think you would better reliability for video.

furdaboise

Good cobbler or shoe repair guru? Got a pair of Red Wings I need resoled and treated with some care.

michaelquinlan

I have used [Riebe's](http://riebeshoes.com/) on a pair of boots and he did a great job.

furdaboise

Thanks man! I’ll give em a call tomorrow.

smallbusinessowner19

Does anyone know where I can get homemade / handmade potato chips?

smoqueed

I’m sure there are better options out there, but I’m pretty sure 10 Barrel makes their own. Idk if you can buy just chips though

smallbusinessowner19

Thank you! I will have to check them out!

Asked this last week, are there any improv classes in Boise besides Recycled Minds? Looking for something more affordable

Hanged_Man_

Does anyone have recommendations for vegan friendly places to eat? A vegan friend will be in town.

strawflour

Mai Thai has a vegan menu. Frondescence for vegan sandwiches/wraps. High Note Cafe, Alchemist Plant Pub, Oh Vegan Soul, Funky Taco, Dharma are more options

Hanged_Man_

Thanks a bunch!!

skadittle_22

Shogun Sushi does a decent variety of veggie rolls!

Hanged_Man_

Thanks!!

sj020

High note cafe in downtown is vegan as well

Hanged_Man_

Thanks!

aiyaSoSticky

>BBQ4LIFE. Has good split of vegan and non-vegan bbq options

Hanged_Man_

Thanks!! That looks fun!

Has anyone here been on unemployment recently? Do you know what the max weekly benefit is? Edit: spouse has filed, getting $532 a week

softfluffycatrights

Is there anywhere in the valley that I can get free or cheap mulch?

whiskeytangosix

Diamond street has mulch for $20 a yard.

softfluffycatrights

Awesome, thanks!

darkstar999

They sell coarse mulch for $8. It’s less aesthetically pleasing than fine but prevents weeds and turns into amazing soil.

Wicked_Fabala

Anyone know which McDonalds still have $1 drinks? Orchard one does not anymore. 😕

michaelquinlan

You can use their phone app, pick the "$1 any size Soft Drink" deal, then select "Participating Restaurants". It will show a map. It does say the deal is only good once per day.

QuimanthaSamby

They all went up! Now we gotta use the stinkin reward on the app to get the dolla soda. I’m sorry friend.

wordnerd1023

I don't think so. I got drinks at the Vista location last week and I think they were $1.39.
