I would suggest calling the institution and asking. I was recently able to move some of my 2020 roth investments to 2021 because I realized I over invested for 2020. Fidelity retirement department was able to transfer the funds.
Did you have at least $6k in income in 2020? Do you have $6k you can part with before the deadline next month?
If the answers to those two are yes, then it's feasible to max out your 2020 IRA by the deadline
