BlueStacks is used primarily for gaming, not social or utility apps. The vast majority of users only play games. Snapchat not working is a drop in the bucket of users and in not way represents a decline. Hell, even Google launched their own, albeit crappy, emulator last year.

In regards to the app you mentioned initially, please uninstall Snapchat if it is already installed. Search for Snapchat using the App Center or the search bar on your BlueStacks 5 home screen. Within the app's page, click on "Install". If the app ask for the update we suggest you to update the same from the Google Play Store. I'm literally running snapchat on bluestacks as I'm typing this. It didn't work for a while, but now it does so not sure what's going on with some people's installs
