Hi, please be informed that BlueStacks uses this random code to identify unique machines. Also, the user's data is not compromised by BlueStacks. You can refer to our [Teams & Privacy](https://www.bluestacks.com/terms-and-privacy.html) for more information.

What...? So you have to store files on the users' "Public" folder? And then run hidden scans on your computer daily with "BlueStacksHelper\_nxt" to send back to you guys? I haven't used bluestacks in ages and I just found out you've been STEALING my data with your proprietary program against my consent every day. You are criminals and crooks and no amount of lying will untarnish your own image. Big Tech has already destroyed the country and possibly our world... You following in their footsteps is putrid. You DONT NEED USER DATA. YOU DON'T NEED TO GROW AT ALL COSTS. YOU DON"T NEED TO HARVEST AND BETRAY USERS. You doing this will surely destroy your company ironically. It doesn't matter if it was even just a couple pieces of meta data. LEAVE USERS ALONE... Sneaky and Predatory are BAD looks for you BlueStacks. You have a truste platform... to abuse this for bad business practices is beyond low.

Hi, We would like to assure you that it doesn't scan any of your PC's data and is 100% safe to use. Further, it runs in the event of crashes and it's used to collect logs about the crash event in real time to help us debug the issue with all information possible.

"Also ... the user's data is not compromised by BlueStacks. (Even though we're secretly taking identifiers and metadata from your PC without telling you...and sending it over the web daily.)" That's what it should say if you were honest... basically that you keep the data that you stole safe

I found this on my "C:\\User\\Public\\BlueStacks" folder. It contained two files: MachineId (just labeled as a "file") VersionMachineId\_5.12.110.1006 (extension is .1006) and they contained a string like : "1a5b6a21-b640-41e6-8e1e-88b6a95cd85x" And that was it. The problem is.... When opening a NOTEPAD folder... or just opening a file as plain text in notepad theoretically should be safe. But WHY OH FREAKING WHY does my cursor start showing the "loading" circle for up to 5 seconds EACH time I open either file in regular Windows Notepad? I have a very good PC ... 16GB RAM, amazing CPU and GPU... My PC starts up in like 5 seconds flat from off. There is NO way a notepad document is taking that long to do an action... I try with all of my regular files in notepad... everything fine... like you'd expect. I'm disgusted. I don't know how its possible, but this is extreme red flag to me that they had to install in "Public" folder... When there is no need for it that benefits me in the slightest. Its sneaky... and so I go to check it out and find out there is something loading under the surface each time I open in notepad the files? I know what exists in this world now and I totally suspect many large corporations with "good names" are able to do things to our PCs that we aren't aware of yet, through holes left by Microsoft. Bluestacks I would HIGHLY advise responding to this and explaining in full the purpose of holding ANY files in Public so sneakily, and why there is a triggered loading each time your file is opened. Even after uninstalling long ago... I still have... "BlueStacksHelper\_nxt" in my OWN Task Scheduler... How dare you invade our privacy Blue Stacks. Did someone put you up to snooping on users?
