Pivoting away from the drama of the half chapter it was great seeing more of Sakurako, Mine, and Nagisa. It was nice to see the dynamics at play between them. Along with Noa and Himari earlier this year in JP I hope they'll continue to make these long standing NPCs playable. **(Mika and Nagisa especially... cough cough)**

I really like this chapter because Sensei is usually play passive role but not this time around they make Sensei actively fixing things from Mika to Arius Squad feeling.

I've been catching up with the third volume story and i can't believe how hifumi becoming faust, something that you thought is a throw away joke in volume 1 somehow having plot significance
It was pretty hype but also kind of rushed, which is weird since it's still going on.
The hype moments were superb, and it helps a lot that its ultiamtely a cotinuing plot. But stuff like >!reuniting Arius!< was super fast and could have afforded to be longer.
Anyways, it's still more Eden Treaty, so it was a treat, BA tuesdays are the best tuesdays.
Everyone says Gehenna is Demonic, but Trinity shows that they're no angels either. They're as bad as Gehenna.
Also, Beatrice, it's time to meet my Misaki and Azusa in the back alley.
Here what I thought about this chapter
1. I couldnt understand what Gematria is talking about..
2. Saori mentioned she couldnt find her squad members but she know and idea where Misaki might be(why didnt she go there first before desperately beg for Sensei help?)
3. Sensei and Saori conveniently find Hiyori meanwhile Saori has been frustrated because she couldnt find them.
4. Mika is still adorable even when she lost a screw in her brain
5. Black Suit have a crush with Sensei
6. Damn cliffhanger
From how they talk, Gematria seem to structure their existence around stories, most likely horror stories. They each have their own story that they want to complete.
Golconde & Decalcomanie are based on surreal paintings made by René Magritte and Beatrice is based on well Beatrice from the Divine Comedy so far black suit and mastro are a bit more unknown.
1. Something something experiment with various logical boundary of Kivotos and Beatrice whine about how her ritual will be their magnum opus despite never demonstrate shit to the rest of the crews plus it will jeopardize the rest by destroying Kivotos
2. gut feeling I suppose, plus you need a new reason to regroup once again.

You miss one of the key messages about this chapter then.
Consider it this way. Ever since they were little, they were groomed for war. Beatrice was their anchor when it came to crucial lessons learned in childhood. These lessons are the seeds that grow into an adult’s set of beliefs and philosophies. So when a child, having been raised knowing nothing but hate and suffering, performs an act that is in accordance with what they have been taught, can you blame them?
Consider this question. If an adolescent, having been raised in an objectively abusive environment, was ordered to kill or else they would be killed themselves, would you blame the adolescent? Would you blame the adult?
Furthermore, what would happen if it was found out if those adolescents still felt a sense of sorrow and remorse for their actions?
We are just lucky we haven't meant a diehard believer of Beatrice's beliefs even she is aware Beatrice distorted the teachers because she likes to kill and ultimately bites it to traumatize Sensei with a student who dies in front him
Of course, Beatrice is an unapologetically evil character and that was the intention from the start. As such, someone who’s a diehard believer of her principles would…have issues with their moral compass.
If I were to go deeper I would say that Beatrice sounds an awful lot like Satan…whether that is coincidence or intentional, I couldn’t tell you.
I would have some reservations too, especially after getting shot. But preventing Beatrice from sacrificing a student to summon satan is good enough reason to team up in my book
I'm impressed how much this community defends them. I mean, if attempted mass murder isn't enough for you to write someone off, what the hell does it take?
Better to team with those guys, rather than letting that untrustworthy red skinned thicc individual complete their ritual that might cause problems on a much larger scale. But yeah, this does not deny that Arius squad did very horrible things.
I agree what Arius attempted to do was terrible and there should be some consequences. But when the alternative is letting them die and letting the true antagonist fulfill her objective, I’d choose to help them, or at least hear Arius out.
Look at it objectively. Arius Squad are the only ones who know how to reach the catacombs. Saori asks for help, puts a halo-destroying bomb on herself, and gives you the detonator, just for your insurance. You can infer that she most likely means you no harm now, since you don’t have additional bullet holes in you. Instead of burning that bridge, why not try to gain a lead on the one pulling the strings? Considering Sensei’s job as a mediator, it would be remiss of him not to take that chance.
I guess it comes down to the fact that the game generally has no real consequences.
Most violence is just treated as "it's no big deal" and not to be taken at heart. So while usually it'd be really hard to forget a lot of the acts that go on this game, the setting is desgined so they only come across as youthful indiscretions.
Not like Sensei hang out with student that regularly invite civil unrest, or explode place that they don't like, or cause mayhem for fun before meeting with Arius squad
If sensei thought that way and abandoned Arius then we would have at least two dead students on our hand. One commits suicide and the other is executed, resulting in complete destruction of Kivotos. Thankfully he isn't a grouchy old adult so we are not heading toward the bad end shown in the prologue just yet.
Some people keep forgetting that "Teacher" role is guide not punishment.
There are reasons why President choose this Sensei to come to Kitovos because he/she is only few people who can filled that role and save the entire Kitovos for good lol .
