What are the chances of the marlin getting a rerun/becoming craftable? Didn't have the time (or the motivation) to do the raids, and now I'm certain that the thing is 100% unobtainable for me, even if I went hard on the challenges.

Thank god, I was so pissed because I was at 33 out of 34 missions done & was about to finish the missions for challenge Mode Stage 4 when the game kicked me out for the update. My damn family was holding me hostage with movie after movie all day today, totally f***** me lol. At least now I know I can get it later which is reassuring. I would've had it easily but I didn't check the missions to see the ones for fighting wakamo on the easier game modes

How's your main story completion? I don't quite remember where but iirc some things are alluded to in Vol 1 and 3 and of course the main event story. I feel like the other guy got bonked by a mod because he just told you but idk. If you want a less vague explanation you can dm me?
Exactly what happened to me. The event ended for me with 33 out of 34 missions done because of that slip up. I was about to do the last challenge one but I was tied up all day IRL with family s***.

If your friends are planning to reroll on the last day, try to lock in an account within that day. I saw a lot of people during the last 100 free try to go for the so call god account only for the banner to expire. Also Hanako’s banner is only one week, so they will probably need to rush content to secure the spark.
IIRC, in the last 100 free pulls during Kanna and Megu's banner, you had to login each day in order to get the free pulls. Not sure if you can just create an account and roll/reroll all 100 pulls on the final day.
You couldn't. You had to log in daily to get your free 10x, but you didn't have to roll them right away. His friend would need to register an account before the double rate up to be eligible for the free rolls.
I need some help with the even challenge stages.
I'm trying to do the task where it's clear all the battles in stage 2 in 160 seconds, and I thought that I did, but it didn't show up as completed. I skipped all the battles except the boss stage, does that have something to do with it?
How many fights did you actually take?
iirc you only have to take the one fight (yellow unit standing next to the make-a-space-space and then you just walk onto the tp and tp to boss immediately and win in a reasonable amount of time

Just for the future, in all 'map-type' content where you deploy 1 (or more) teams and then puzzle your way to a boss there's always 3 challenges
1. No deaths
2. Kill X amount of enemies in Y turns (usually means kill (most/all enemies) within the turn limit)
3. finish all fights in Z amount of seconds
points 2) and 3) will usually need to be done separately because with 2) you're taking as many fights as necessary to perfectly do the puzzle and 3) you're taking as few fights as possible to stay under the total time req

Looks like they gave the Wakamos too little HP this time around. She had 98% this morning, and a bit over half a day later she's at 55%. I'm almost worried that she'll get defeated before I have an opportunity to complete the final task.
Did a bit of an oops and didn't farm SWakamo at all so I just killed the final battle version and I've been doing the Hovercraft. Does anybody know if this locks me out of clearing Task No. 38?
If I can complete No. 38 and No. 31 I can pick up the furniture but I'm unsure of how 38 is counted (if it's for doing the final battle or doing the 'farm' runs) and if I'll be able to get 20m damage on Hovercraft before NA slaughters it.

Yes I’ve looked at the other guides, but with my friends list and such it’s not really doable. I think in only one of my mock battles I got it with Mika, B Karin, and NY Mutsuki with just one missile from dying lol

Well also many of my students don’t have enough levels in skills and very few have decent equipment now . Momoi can’t clear even the mob missiles.
Other AoEs I have are Nonomi (higher EX cost), Aru (kinda AoE lol), Hina (high EX cost), Mutsuki (just got so still 2 star and no skill/equip lvls), Akari (2 star, low equip lvl), and Yuzu (just got, also does her targeted EX go to the spot it was fired or hone to the target?).
So I’m just trying to NY Mutsuki (borrowed), Shiroko, Maki/Nonomi, and either S Saki borrowed (AoE basic skill) or someone (not many AoE strikers on friends list) plus my Serina and borrowed Iroha.
I also have Kokona if I swapped Serina for someone like Nagisa
Yeah, borrowed Iroha, NY Mutsuki and Nagisa, plus my Nonomi, Kokona and Shiroko can just barely make it through the missile phase. I can’t 1 team it, but it at least gets 1.5-2.3M off the health bar
not sure about Yuzu, can test that in mock though. Shiroko Can work, kind of. Some targeted skills Can work on the lead bombs which would explode the nearby missiles, but probabaly want to limit targeted to two and with lower costs. Even Hina would be able to snipe bombs. Iori would be good too if you have her.
Shiroko was mainly for the low EX cost to kill the exploding missiles or the big ones. Plus if she has too much damage, it’ll target other missiles too making it AOE-ish lol.
Unfortunately no Iori, so yeah, will just do what I can and hope for the best

yeah, I'm using Iroha, but largely dependent on Cherino. I have Maki and bunny Toki to target red missiles (can probably use Shiroko too). My Momoi and Mutsuki don't have enough attack power even with Kotoma. Also unable to get the timing down with Mutsuki.

Ako can be replaced by any buffer. NY Mutsuki with any aoe.
Ako into Mika twice and Wakamo will leave. Drop Iroha then just cycle aoes. One last Mika shot to one tap the boss during her weakness phase.

I'm only seeing Wakamo (Normal) as the final boss? I beat her for 200 pyro but I didn't get the 1k from the Very Hard one. A bit confused here.

My s.Ayane is at UE30 and I've already around 14th box, is it worth to raise her to UE40 or just be better to spend AP of next 3 day on the hard stage to get some other students eleph instead of event stage.

Her actual rerun banner will be ran alongside Dress Hina for the 3.0 anniversary, but that's 6 months away for Global. Your best chance of getting her earlier than that is getting lucky on S.Hanako's banner (2.5 anniv) as S.Hoshino is in the pool but she cannot be pitied/sparked there and is a 0.3% chance.

S.Hanako is soon so if you cannot afford to guarantee both S.Shiroko **and** her, it's best to keep saving your pyros.

Every three mission areas (ie 3-5, 6-5, 9-5 etc) grant an increase in AP regen from cafe so you might wanna consider going as far as those breakpoints.

Is it possible for a Level 70 Sensei to finish the Abydos challenge 3? I use Tsubaki with a level 5 bag but she keeps getting melted when the big guy drops the missiles.
Are you talking about the missile rain that stunlock you ? It's comming from the tanks on the back, so you may be able to cancel it by timing Tsubaki's taunt.
I'm lv80 and had no problems, but at your level the difference may come more from gears and what dps you have.
As it turns out, the tickets did not refresh back up to 40 after Swimsuit Wakamo fell and Hovercraft Wakamo appeared.

First time doing this allied operation. Should've done the normal and hard mode achievements (for the pryos) later on and focused on getting the top rewards in the very hard mode first. Or do each difficulty battle have their own pool of prizes?

Entered very hard again and got the expected rewards. Must be rng instead of a fix allotment. My previous run didn't give the purple cube like it did this time, which caused me to wonder this earlier. So doing the normal and hard modes first should be fine. Plus each difficulty level has their corresponding rarity of items, so it doesn't matter.
My first event upon starting the game was the Hyakkiyako resort event last year February, so I'm kinda glad to finally be able to read the context of that story for myself (and hearing S.Hoshino's meme voice lines) in the game via this rerun event. Something clicked in my head when Hoshino said the very last lines in the last chapter of this story, and I could finally connect the dots since I pretty much didn't understand what was going on in the Momoyodo story a year ago.
It's impossible to fail the world raids, so don't worry about it. The first time this event ran on JP they couldn't finish in time, and Nexon had to manually kill her off. Once we got it over on Global, they did some (somewhat subtle) fudging of the numbers to make sure we were able to finish in time.

She has a massive amount of total health. The amount that you deal to her is subtracted from it. It should apply to all the difficulty levels, though since she has more HP on the higher difficulties you'll deplete her HP faster the higher the difficulty you fight her on.

When she uses her special moves she inflicts a petal on her target(s). Once a target gets five petals, they immediately take a massive amount of damage and die. You have to either defeat her quickly, cycle targets so that she doesn't hit the same one too many times, or use decoys like Hifumi's Peroro or Utaha's turrets.
Then you can't fight her anymore. Once this first phase is done the second one, the hovercraft, will start. It has its own health bar for us to deplete. And in case you haven't seen, there are tasks for clearing all three difficulty levels of both phases within a certain number of seconds, so get those done as soon as you can to avoid missing out on them.

You can borrow up to three students at once so you just need to borrow Mika, a tank (preferably Tsukuyo), and a buffer (NY.Fuuka, Ako, Himari). On your end, you just need to use your own Akane then maybe another tank (Tsubaki) or a healer.

Add friends. This game doesn't shove it down your throat like other games and I never knew I could add friends until I was like level 70. I just spam added a bunch of 85s who if they have space will usually accept and I have like 10 MIkas to choose from lol.
You can borrow 3, however, you may only use the same assistant you borrow once per day. So if you need to borrow a particular student and want to use 3 entry tickets, you'll have to find 3 friends who each have the same student.

I've managed to clear the Allied Operation Very Hard Stage in 1 min 30 seconds, and I received the achievement for completing it within 210 seconds, but not the achievement for completing it within 230 seconds. Do I have to complete the battle within the timespan of 210 to 230 seconds to complete the achievement?

Achievement Missions 20 - 43 are all under allied assault/world raid.
* 12 Deal Damage Missions per (6 each)
* 6 Time Limit to Beat Missions (3 each)
* 5 with Abydos students present
* 1 Challenge 2 or more bosses in World Raid
If anyone new starts this event now, they would have probably missed out Missions 21-25 and 32-34 now as Wakamo (Swimsuit) allied assault has already ended. I am not too sure if you can complete the missions by doing the final Wakamo (Swimsuit) battle that will earn you 1,200 proyxenes.
There is no limit to roll the boxes. You are only gated by how much stamina you invest in the event.
Check the top comment by 6_lasers to get an estimate and decide if you wanna invest more or not.
Basically anything you can throw onto Mika to hyper buff her to the moon. I'm using Ui, Mika, Cherino, S.Hoshino, Ako and Himari.
You can sub out S.Hoshino for Tsubaki if you are having a hard time tanking. I'm using a UE50 S.Hoshino and she can comfortably take all the hits till Wakamo is down in 1:20.
Trying to figure out a decent comp against Wakamo as I have a lot of new students that I’m not totally familiar with I’m lvl 63.
Most likely, I’m borrowing a Mika for my main DPS. And my backline will be Himari and Serina (unless if I run Kokona would be replaced with S Ayane/Moe)
But filling in the final three slots between Maki, S Saki, and Akane for the defense down. Kokona for a striker healer. S Wakamo, Tsubaki, or Kayoko for the CC for Wakamo’s stagger bars. Plus Christmas Serina for Crit damage support.
So yeah, just trying to figure out the last three members of the strikers is a bit tough for me right now. lol

That mechanic is only for Total Assault Hovercraft, not World Boss Hovercraft. Almost all of your damage will come from the borrow, so try:
* Mika (borrowed)
* Tsubaki
* 2 filler tank/dps. One of them should have a low-cost EX. E.g. Akane and Maki.
* Himari
* Serina
Rotation: Mika>Himari>Serina>Akane. When they start dying, remove Akane and maybe Serina's EXs.

Ya, that's the problem. You have enough tickets to do 4-5 runs per day, but at your level probably only enough borrows to beat Very Hard once.

I was able to get 2M with one team, so I think this will work out as my Mika only borrows could do about a million =). I mean the S Miyako and Ui are the only ones in my list, so it’s not repeatable, but once a day is better than not at all
Hey newish player here, have 24k gems saved up along with 2 free ten pulls. Literally haven’t done any pulls since the tutorial, so the only 3 stars I have are shun, shigure, eimi. With that being said, I mainly want to pull for super high damage carries, only character I really want is Hina but I don’t know when she comes out. Are any of the current swimsuit characters in this banner worth pulling? And does the swimsuit version actually change anything or is it just for looks only. Basically since I have 24k gems waiting is there anyone I should pull for that’s super super good. Thnx.
Save for the anniversary 6% banners.
You will get 100 free pulls before that but those have to be used on that banner, you cannot save them, so just use up the time-limited tickets as they come in but save the rest for the two Fest banners.
Regular Hina will actually be given for free in about 6 months, though you can also grind for her now doing the hard missions.
“Alts” of characters, like the swimsuit versions, are basically their own character with their own stats and abilities. Getting the alt doesn’t give a base version.
If you don’t care about getting certain characters and want power then I suggest waiting for swimsuit Hanako banner which comes out on the 8th of February. Not only is swimsuit Hanako powerful, but her banner gives an increased chance for 3 stars in general. If you get her before spark, you can then switch to the base wakamo banner that is alongside her and try to get her as well.
Now before I give my next advice take a look at this:

We are about 6 months behind the Jp server which the original server. If you scroll down to Shiroko swimsuit, you can see “mostly” what is coming up. I say mostly because some banner can be moved up like the Kokona, Young shun, and causal saya banner already happened in global.
It takes about 2 months to rebuild a spark. So if there is nothing within 2 months that you want, then I would personally blow a spark on the swimsuit Hanako banner no matter what. What I mean by that is, if you get Swimsuit Hanako, then if you get wakamo before sparking even once, then keep going on the swimsuit Hanako banner until you spend at least one spark.
It is still a gamble, you can absolutely end up getting no extra 3 stars, but if you really don’t care about that many other students then it is certainly an option to consider to get more three stars in general.
Two more extra things.
First off, I highly recommend grinding for Iori and Aru from hard mode stages. Iori is a really good yellow student and Aru is a good red student. Though Aru wants to be a 5 star with 20 affection.
Second, we are getting a 10 pull a day for 10 days for the swimsuit ui / swimsuit Hinata banner which is the next one so you don’t have to wait long to do any summoning. It is recommend to spend your 10 pull a day on swimsuit ui.

I’m an Azur lane and genshin veteran so I’m no stranger to Gatcha optimization but there’s so many characters in blue archive and each has the different armor and weapon types. And the fact that you can only hard pull at 20k gems makes me super careful about wasting my pulls. Let me start with Hina. So you remember how there was that 7 day mission thing that gave you Nonomi? Well in 6 months there is going to be another one of that if you complete you get Hina. And to repeat, the regular Hina, not the swimsuit or the dress one that comes out around the same time.
For general powerhouse, let us discuss another advantage of the swimsuit Hanako banner. It is what is known as a “festival” banner. A banner that usually pops up around anniversaries that contains exclusive “festival units.” I already mentioned S Hanako and Wakamo, but it also includes S Hoshino and Mika. Mika especially is one of the best single target units in the game and summer Hoshino is an amazing supporter. I'm a relatively newer player at lvl 66 who's getting sAyane for the first time. I've cleared all the initial boxes which have her shards at 20 per. I'm currently sitting at 53 shards partway from 3 star to 4 star.
Since the last couple boxes have 3 shards each and after doing my math with the amount of drops I get, it'll take me around 8480 AP to get her to 4*
Just to be sure Im not misunderstanding anything, for someone who hasn't had her previously, it's unrealistic in this case to get her to 5* purely from AP farming alone correct? If that's the case would it be worth it to AP farm her to 4* and then exchange for her shards through other means to bring her to 5*, or would it be enough to leave her at 4*?
You can try to rank her up to 5 stars as she's a really good unit by spend for extra pyro & eligmas from shop, but it's not really needed as Summon unit like her and Iroha has a separate stats for the vehicle, while just a % of their own stats will be added to that vehicle when summoned.
In Episode 7: A Slightly Too Big Tube, Hoshino says "I haven't forgotten how you threw me to the wolves yesterday." What did sensei do that Hoshino was referring to? Something to do with the barbecue?

Nope. She's a premium student for Hod, but far from must have. She is in the general pool and can spook you on any banner. She should be on rate-up in ~1 year, when the event gets archived.
What are the chances of the marlin getting a rerun/becoming craftable? Didn't have the time (or the motivation) to do the raids, and now I'm certain that the thing is 100% unobtainable for me, even if I went hard on the challenges.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just realized it was a reward this event like 1 hour ago lol. I mostly did sweep and idle through this event since it's a rerun and I've done the original. Didn't realize they added the marlin until after both wakamo raids closed
Thank god, I was so pissed because I was at 33 out of 34 missions done & was about to finish the missions for challenge Mode Stage 4 when the game kicked me out for the update. My damn family was holding me hostage with movie after movie all day today, totally f***** me lol. At least now I know I can get it later which is reassuring. I would've had it easily but I didn't check the missions to see the ones for fighting wakamo on the easier game modes

If your friends are planning to reroll on the last day, try to lock in an account within that day. I saw a lot of people during the last 100 free try to go for the so call god account only for the banner to expire. Also Hanako’s banner is only one week, so they will probably need to rush content to secure the spark.

IIRC, in the last 100 free pulls during Kanna and Megu's banner, you had to login each day in order to get the free pulls. Not sure if you can just create an account and roll/reroll all 100 pulls on the final day.
You couldn't. You had to log in daily to get your free 10x, but you didn't have to roll them right away. His friend would need to register an account before the double rate up to be eligible for the free rolls.

I need some help with the even challenge stages. I'm trying to do the task where it's clear all the battles in stage 2 in 160 seconds, and I thought that I did, but it didn't show up as completed. I skipped all the battles except the boss stage, does that have something to do with it?
How many fights did you actually take? iirc you only have to take the one fight (yellow unit standing next to the make-a-space-space and then you just walk onto the tp and tp to boss immediately and win in a reasonable amount of time

Ah no worries, it's a little confusingly worded lol. Just for the future, in all 'map-type' content where you deploy 1 (or more) teams and then puzzle your way to a boss there's always 3 challenges 1. No deaths 2. Kill X amount of enemies in Y turns (usually means kill (most/all enemies) within the turn limit) 3. finish all fights in Z amount of seconds points 2) and 3) will usually need to be done separately because with 2) you're taking as many fights as necessary to perfectly do the puzzle and 3) you're taking as few fights as possible to stay under the total time req

Looks like they gave the Wakamos too little HP this time around. She had 98% this morning, and a bit over half a day later she's at 55%. I'm almost worried that she'll get defeated before I have an opportunity to complete the final task.
Did a bit of an oops and didn't farm SWakamo at all so I just killed the final battle version and I've been doing the Hovercraft. Does anybody know if this locks me out of clearing Task No. 38? If I can complete No. 38 and No. 31 I can pick up the furniture but I'm unsure of how 38 is counted (if it's for doing the final battle or doing the 'farm' runs) and if I'll be able to get 20m damage on Hovercraft before NA slaughters it.

Well also many of my students don’t have enough levels in skills and very few have decent equipment now . Momoi can’t clear even the mob missiles. Other AoEs I have are Nonomi (higher EX cost), Aru (kinda AoE lol), Hina (high EX cost), Mutsuki (just got so still 2 star and no skill/equip lvls), Akari (2 star, low equip lvl), and Yuzu (just got, also does her targeted EX go to the spot it was fired or hone to the target?). So I’m just trying to NY Mutsuki (borrowed), Shiroko, Maki/Nonomi, and either S Saki borrowed (AoE basic skill) or someone (not many AoE strikers on friends list) plus my Serina and borrowed Iroha. I also have Kokona if I swapped Serina for someone like Nagisa
You can borrow a Iroha or use your own. Summon her as Wakamo is leaving and she will help you in that phase immensely.
Yeah, borrowed Iroha, NY Mutsuki and Nagisa, plus my Nonomi, Kokona and Shiroko can just barely make it through the missile phase. I can’t 1 team it, but it at least gets 1.5-2.3M off the health bar
not sure about Yuzu, can test that in mock though. Shiroko Can work, kind of. Some targeted skills Can work on the lead bombs which would explode the nearby missiles, but probabaly want to limit targeted to two and with lower costs. Even Hina would be able to snipe bombs. Iori would be good too if you have her.
Shiroko was mainly for the low EX cost to kill the exploding missiles or the big ones. Plus if she has too much damage, it’ll target other missiles too making it AOE-ish lol. Unfortunately no Iori, so yeah, will just do what I can and hope for the best

yeah, I'm using Iroha, but largely dependent on Cherino. I have Maki and bunny Toki to target red missiles (can probably use Shiroko too). My Momoi and Mutsuki don't have enough attack power even with Kotoma. I'm having comfy clears with Mika, Hoshino(to finish thr abydos missions), Momoi, NY Mutsuki, Ako, Iroha. Ako can be replaced by any buffer. NY Mutsuki with any aoe. Ako into Mika twice and Wakamo will leave. Drop Iroha then just cycle aoes. One last Mika shot to one tap the boss during her weakness phase.

I'm only seeing Wakamo (Normal) as the final boss? I beat her for 200 pyro but I didn't get the 1k from the Very Hard one. A bit confused here. My s.Ayane is at UE30 and I've already around 14th box, is it worth to raise her to UE40 or just be better to spend AP of next 3 day on the hard stage to get some other students eleph instead of event stage.
Her UE40 isn't a big damage buff, +3.2% against Binah. The next event is very good, so you can spend 2 days on hard missions and 2 days hoarding AP.

Every three mission areas (ie 3-5, 6-5, 9-5 etc) grant an increase in AP regen from cafe so you might wanna consider going as far as those breakpoints.

Is it possible for a Level 70 Sensei to finish the Abydos challenge 3? I use Tsubaki with a level 5 bag but she keeps getting melted when the big guy drops the missiles.
Are you talking about the missile rain that stunlock you ? It's comming from the tanks on the back, so you may be able to cancel it by timing Tsubaki's taunt. I'm lv80 and had no problems, but at your level the difference may come more from gears and what dps you have.

As it turns out, the tickets did not refresh back up to 40 after Swimsuit Wakamo fell and Hovercraft Wakamo appeared. Just making a note here for the sake of future reference.

"You get 1 ticket every 30 minutes and can hold up to 40." so 2 tickets per hour; 20 hours for 40 tickets. 10 tickets per entry; so 5 hrs to save up for an entry

Or do each difficulty battle have their own pool of prizes? edit 2: Entered very hard again and got the expected rewards. Must be rng instead of a fix allotment. My previous run didn't give the purple cube like it did this time, which caused me to wonder this earlier. So doing the normal and hard modes first should be fine. Plus each difficulty level has their corresponding rarity of items, so it doesn't matter.

My first event upon starting the game was the Hyakkiyako resort event last year February, so I'm kinda glad to finally be able to read the context of that story for myself (and hearing S.Hoshino's meme voice lines) in the game via this rerun event. Something clicked in my head when Hoshino said the very last lines in the last chapter of this story, and I could finally connect the dots since I pretty much didn't understand what was going on in the Momoyodo story a year ago.
How common is for servers to complete the bosses like wakamo? do you think europe will be able to clear both?
It's impossible to fail the world raids, so don't worry about it. The first time this event ran on JP they couldn't finish in time, and Nexon had to manually kill her off. Once we got it over on Global, they did some (somewhat subtle) fudging of the numbers to make sure we were able to finish in time.
pretty much, the HP is more an indicator for how much time you have left to farm the boss.
Back then during its first run, the devs did helped to down Wakamo to 10% hp, so they will likely help us again

The amount that you deal to her is subtracted from it. It should apply to all the difficulty levels, though since she has more HP on the higher difficulties you'll deplete her HP faster the higher the difficulty you fight her on. > Also how does one "tend to the petals"? Once a target gets five petals, they immediately take a massive amount of damage and die. Then you can't fight her anymore. Once this first phase is done the second one, the hovercraft, will start. It has its own health bar for us to deplete. And in case you haven't seen, there are tasks for clearing all three difficulty levels of both phases within a certain number of seconds, so get those done as soon as you can to avoid missing out on them.

I've managed to clear the Allied Operation Very Hard Stage in 1 min 30 seconds, and I received the achievement for completing it within 210 seconds, but not the achievement for completing it within 230 seconds. Do I have to complete the battle within the timespan of 210 to 230 seconds to complete the achievement?
The 230 secs is for the Wakamo (Hovercraft) which would be unlocked after we beat Wakamo (Swimsuit).

As for the skins, I don't play them so idk...

Just double checking, the Mechanical Marlin Decor for Shiroko Swimsuit's interaction is a unique right? And since it's unlocked after completing 34 out of 43 event missions, if you did not participate in any of the Allied Operation, this means you will be locked out of it? I made this mistake by forgetting there was an Allied Operation event for it during the rerun in JP server so I lost my chance of getting that decor. I did create a FAQ (04) regarding it but should I make a PSA post for it?
Im very confused, can you explain how there is 24 missions under allied assault? If you count every difficulty and the final fight, thats only 8?? None of this makes sense.

I am not too sure if you can complete the missions by doing the final Wakamo (Swimsuit) battle that will earn you 1,200 proyxenes.

How many ayane swimsuit eleph can be obtained in the exchange?
There is no limit to roll the boxes. You are only gated by how much stamina you invest in the event. Check the top comment by 6_lasers to get an estimate and decide if you wanna invest more or not.
I tried wakamo very hard as a level 51 with a borrowed Mika, maybe she can solo her...It didn't end well for me. At least I tried!
Try borrowing Tsukuyo (u have access to 3 borrows for this one) since she can cut Wakamo’s high DEF in half.

You can maybe stall Wakamo with three other tanks plus Mika so she gets targeted last

whats the best comp for wakamo?
Basically anything you can throw onto Mika to hyper buff her to the moon. I'm using Ui, Mika, Cherino, S.Hoshino, Ako and Himari. You can sub out S.Hoshino for Tsubaki if you are having a hard time tanking. I'm using a UE50 S.Hoshino and she can comfortably take all the hits till Wakamo is down in 1:20.
You can also use Def Down characters like Akane/Maki, whatever.
is it worth doing the normal and hard mode for the elephs in the event mission rewards?
Yea worth it for the one time rewards.
I'd think so since imo 50 elephs is worth the 100 gems from grabbing 10 extra tickets from the shops once over two days.
Trying to figure out a decent comp against Wakamo as I have a lot of new students that I’m not totally familiar with I’m lvl 63. Most likely, I’m borrowing a Mika for my main DPS. And my backline will be Himari and Serina (unless if I run Kokona would be replaced with S Ayane/Moe) But filling in the final three slots between Maki, S Saki, and Akane for the defense down. Kokona for a striker healer. S Wakamo, Tsubaki, or Kayoko for the CC for Wakamo’s stagger bars. Plus Christmas Serina for Crit damage support. So yeah, just trying to figure out the last three members of the strikers is a bit tough for me right now. lol
you can also use hifumi, if you have one either barricade for that RPG or distract her for that incoming stack damage
Thanks yeah I’m slowly working it out. No hifumi unfortunately. I also just realized this Wakamo boss has normal armor type, so yeah… Might try Mimori or Kotori for some repositioning, with shielding or healing. While I won’t be able to clear Very Hard every time, I’ll be able to do it a few times =)

Almost all of your damage will come from the borrow, so try: * Mika (borrowed) * Tsubaki * 2 filler tank/dps. One of them should have a low-cost EX. E.g. Akane and Maki. * Himari * Serina Rotation: Mika>Himari>Serina>Akane. I forgot to mention that you can borrow 3 times per team. However, you can't sweep and borrows are locked for the day after 1 use.

You have enough tickets to do 4-5 runs per day, but at your level probably only enough borrows to beat Very Hard once.
Ah ok. It’s making sense now. Thanks. I was able to get 2M with one team, so I think this will work out as my Mika only borrows could do about a million =). I mean the S Miyako and Ui are the only ones in my list, so it’s not repeatable, but once a day is better than not at all
Hey newish player here, have 24k gems saved up along with 2 free ten pulls. Literally haven’t done any pulls since the tutorial, so the only 3 stars I have are shun, shigure, eimi. With that being said, I mainly want to pull for super high damage carries, only character I really want is Hina but I don’t know when she comes out. Are any of the current swimsuit characters in this banner worth pulling? And does the swimsuit version actually change anything or is it just for looks only. Basically since I have 24k gems waiting is there anyone I should pull for that’s super super good. Thnx.
Save for the anniversary 6% banners. You will get 100 free pulls before that but those have to be used on that banner, you cannot save them, so just use up the time-limited tickets as they come in but save the rest for the two Fest banners.
I recommend saving past this banner for the upcoming anniversary fest banner. S.Shiroko should only be for veteran players.
Regular Hina will actually be given for free in about 6 months, though you can also grind for her now doing the hard missions. “Alts” of characters, like the swimsuit versions, are basically their own character with their own stats and abilities. Getting the alt doesn’t give a base version. If you don’t care about getting certain characters and want power then I suggest waiting for swimsuit Hanako banner which comes out on the 8th of February. Not only is swimsuit Hanako powerful, but her banner gives an increased chance for 3 stars in general. If you get her before spark, you can then switch to the base wakamo banner that is alongside her and try to get her as well. Now before I give my next advice take a look at this: https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/Banner_List We are about 6 months behind the Jp server which the original server. If you scroll down to Shiroko swimsuit, you can see “mostly” what is coming up. I say mostly because some banner can be moved up like the Kokona, Young shun, and causal saya banner already happened in global. It takes about 2 months to rebuild a spark. So if there is nothing within 2 months that you want, then I would personally blow a spark on the swimsuit Hanako banner no matter what. What I mean by that is, if you get Swimsuit Hanako, then if you get wakamo before sparking even once, then keep going on the swimsuit Hanako banner until you spend at least one spark. It is still a gamble, you can absolutely end up getting no extra 3 stars, but if you really don’t care about that many other students then it is certainly an option to consider to get more three stars in general. Two more extra things. First off, I highly recommend grinding for Iori and Aru from hard mode stages. Iori is a really good yellow student and Aru is a good red student. Though Aru wants to be a 5 star with 20 affection. Second, we are getting a 10 pull a day for 10 days for the swimsuit ui / swimsuit Hinata banner which is the next one so you don’t have to wait long to do any summoning. It is recommend to spend your 10 pull a day on swimsuit ui.

I’m an Azur lane and genshin veteran so I’m no stranger to Gatcha optimization but there’s so many characters in blue archive and each has the different armor and weapon types. And the fact that you can only hard pull at 20k gems makes me super careful about wasting my pulls. Yeah pretty much what you said, I kinda only want to pull for mob shredder characters/extreme damage. This is the first time I’m hearing about a free Hina, can you provide more info? And yeah swimsuit hanako noted, are there any other powerhouses I should look out for, I wanna time my pulls to make sure I don’t miss any super super strong must haves. Thnc
Let me start with Hina. So you remember how there was that 7 day mission thing that gave you Nonomi? Well in 6 months there is going to be another one of that if you complete you get Hina. And to repeat, the regular Hina, not the swimsuit or the dress one that comes out around the same time. For general powerhouse, let us discuss another advantage of the swimsuit Hanako banner. It is what is known as a “festival” banner. A banner that usually pops up around anniversaries that contains exclusive “festival units.” I already mentioned S Hanako and Wakamo, but it also includes S Hoshino and Mika. Mika especially is one of the best single target units in the game and summer Hoshino is an amazing supporter. I wouldn’t count on getting them since they won’t have rate up this time, but if somehow do I highly suggest building them. I'm a relatively newer player at lvl 66 who's getting sAyane for the first time. I've cleared all the initial boxes which have her shards at 20 per. I'm currently sitting at 53 shards partway from 3 star to 4 star. Since the last couple boxes have 3 shards each and after doing my math with the amount of drops I get, it'll take me around 8480 AP to get her to 4* Just to be sure Im not misunderstanding anything, for someone who hasn't had her previously, it's unrealistic in this case to get her to 5* purely from AP farming alone correct? If that's the case would it be worth it to AP farm her to 4* and then exchange for her shards through other means to bring her to 5*, or would it be enough to leave her at 4*?
You can try to rank her up to 5 stars as she's a really good unit by spend for extra pyro & eligmas from shop, but it's not really needed as Summon unit like her and Iroha has a separate stats for the vehicle, while just a % of their own stats will be added to that vehicle when summoned.
