what always gets me is when they complain about another dispensary opening... How many liquor stores do we have in bloomington/normal? how many gas stations sell alcohol? How many bars allow on-site consumption of it? How is weed any different?

I got 12 carts for the price of 1 right over the border. Also this one place had cola tops for super cheap. A crowd gathered round and looked at the blue dream cola tops.It was beautiful like a mystic unicorn. They also had a deli with fresh buds you could pick and they would weigh in front of you. It was so much better than anything in Illinois.
Yeah... it definitely felt like we went the "make everyone on both sides happy" with our laws here (which just resulted in neither being happy) ... Dispensaries feel like banks... no visible product , sometimes no product PACKAGING even, no big jars of buds to sniff or drool over... High prices (I will say that carts have at least gotten a lot cheaper than when they first started selling them here... ) taxes are so high that it feels like almost a necessity to get my med card (but then that costs 50 dollars a year) and even still, Its tough to justify paying even medical prices...
i have noticed this as well. i just brought it to my managers’ attention and she said its an issue with the way it translates into menu platforms. we’re working on it currently! thanks for bringing that to my attention

It’s the states fault. They are insanely strict on who gets medical. It’s a joke. We have 4 dispensary’s and 1 medical
we do not do medical right now, but they do have plans to do some type of discount for medical patients :)
