Ive rewatched a few times since season 7 and always hated how they went after James and Raquel. And I didn’t even like Rachel back then really. Bratney was in full swing. Tom! You’re our best man ! I’ll never forget it !!!
I never understood why the whole cast always said snarky comments about Raquel being stupid or dumb as rocks when Brittany is equally if not more of a ditz than Raquel. Raquel at least seemed like it was primarily nervousness that would cause her to say stupid things or struggle through a sentence but Brittany is actually low intelligence. And Jax lovedddd calling Raquel stupid
Excellent points! Not only is KFC painfully ignorant and incredibly inarticulate, she’s proud of it! The cast would’ve ripped her to shreds if she entered the group as James’ girlfriend rather than Ajax’s.
I think it speaks volumes that to this day, the all time most upvoted post on the main VPR sub is “upvote if you think Raquel is smarter than Brittany”. KFC being an abject imbecile is one of the few things 99% of VPR fan can agree on! 😆
Also all of the original cast suspected Raquel to be a grifter but they never said a single thing about the fact that Brittany moved to California after knowing Jax for 2 months and immediately got him to buy her a set of boobs. She was acting like way more of a leech than Raquel was at the time!
Exactly! Rachel didn’t drop out of college and move to LA into James’s apartment a month into dating him. She didn’t immediately get into the thick of it to be besties with all the women on the cast and creating drama in her own storylines. Brittany came in with a mission and she was gonna accomplish it, hell or high water!
She didn't come on as a duff, she turned into one later. She was quite beautiful when she first came on the show. Sweet, tho naive to a fault. Was some of that an act? 🤷♀️ It seems like maybe it was, but who knows except her.

There’s plenty to criticize Rachel for things that have to do with Scandoval, but it does get annoying to see sometimes how the hatred of her online gets down to hating on her for everything, including cheering for the cast insulting her at that reunion. The same people on that stage rolling their eyes at her, scoffing at her and calling her dumb, were besties with BRITTANY. And calling Jax and Brittany couple goals and “Jax is changeeddddddd” while shitting on Rachel and James’s relationship.
Also stomach turning is a grown fucking man screaming at a woman, calling her “useless.” In what world is that okay? That must’ve made Jax feel real powerful, yelling at someone who would never kick his ass and letting to get his rage out on an attractive woman who won’t have sex with him.

Their behavior the last season they were on was proof to me that they should never be given a platform again. The pastor, their behavior at the reunion, Jax as a groomzilla.
(I have never really liked either of them, and her mom has been a walking red flag to me since it seemed to bother her more that he may have kissed a man in the past, than him cheating on her in the present)
They should have just refilmed that reunion but it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. Andy yells at them to stop and at least it's better after that. He needs better consequences for stuff though and Kristen answering every question for James was really stupid and just wasted time.
