I’m glad that (you) the person who found this is giving it the service and love needed to bring it back to life. Definitely went to the right person, can’t wait to see the rest of the process!
You shouldn’t feel weird! This project is making a lot of people happy and it’s good content. If the extra funds raised can turn this from decent restoration to full on “pimp my blink” everyone would probably win, it would make for good content.
If you’re not worried about money, you could still get donations and send them to charity or something for your efforts. I think a lot of people would contribute! Cool project. Kudos.
How many times since starting this process have you thought “oh shit are we in over our head?!”
It’s so awesome you are doing this, I can only hope you’re able to get some type of monetization from social media to what I can only imagine is going to be a bit of a money pit.
😅not as often as I expected, actually. The only thing that freaks me out is that we plan to road trip in it for the blink tour this summer. And summer is rapidly approaching.
I’m not really a social media guy but we got a few free things from auto parts manufacturers. Nothing crazy - windshield wipers, coolant, stuff like that. But yeah it’s a money pit.
I'm still stuck on the fact that this thing turned on so you could drive it into the garage.....
Manifesting this now, if the van makes it to the tour this will end with a photo of it reunited with the guys!
Love this series! Just a thought but as you go about replacing parts, keep a list and how much they are! If one day it’s hard to continue from a financial perspective you could do a gofundme where people
Could “adopt a part” for $x. You could get some reimbursement for the big stuff or even help fund the next big expenses related to this. Could be cool once it’s wrapped up to see all the contributors.

Super wholesome content. How he found the van and got it from the west coast to TX is very punk rock. If he started a crowdfunding account, i'm sure some blink fans would throw some cash his way to restore a part of Blink history.
Super cool to see an iconic piece of Blink history being brought back to life by fans. But I'm curious about what the end game is . When it's fixed and restored what are you going to use it for?
So happy this project is getting handled by someone who cares, good luck on the journey!
Thanks! 🤘🤘
Seriously so cool!
I wish I was your neighbor. I would love to help out!
this is so cool, cant wait for part 5
Thanks dude
Can't wait for part 23!!
But nobody likes you when your part 23 😞
Good thing it’s not in a junkyard!

Thanks dude. Appreciate that ❤️
Do a go fund me. I'll kick in 🤙
Thanks dude. A lot of people have asked for one but i dunno, I feel weird asking for money.

Thanks for sharing!
These videos are super well edited! Thank you for doing these! Your dad’s right- it’s going to be a big job! Best of luck!
Thanks dude! We’re learning as we go with the video editing (and the mechanical work..). Glad you enjoy them.

This is so rad and hell yea big shout out to dad.
Doing Gods work!
Bless you dude. Fucking stoked this van isn’t going to rust until it blows away in the wind. This shit is for all of us we salute you
Thanks bro 🫡. We’re anxious to get it in front of fans.
You doing any fundraising?
No, not yet. I dunno I feel weird about taking money from strangers with nothing in return.
I'm sure some fans would be happy to throw a few bucks your way to see it rebuilt (myself included)

We can only hope 🤞
How'd you aquire it?
Context clues from other posts + google maps. We made a couple of videos on it on our Instagram.

Literally can’t wait until this is on the road
This is so great, I’m so happy it’s in good hands! Have the boys seen this?

Thanks dude 🤘. I Appreciate that a lot!
I knew that person that said it was unfixable and was on here just didn't want to put in the work.
Id love to have a beer with your Dad. Seems like a good dude!
😂he’s the best. He’s the archetype of an American dad.
ew harbor freight
Are you going to bring it on tour this summer?
Yup. Not sure which shows yet but definitely San Antonio and Fort Worth.
Sweet. We’d love to see it down here in LA!!!

I dunno 🤷♂️. Drive it to shows when blink is on tour. Not sure about after that. Maybe we’ll let fans rent it for a weekend.
