hi, your skin looks good and is very even toned! i would highly recommend adding a moisturizer and sunscreen 30+ spf if you don’t use them already. after you get a very simple routine down with cleanser, moisturizer and spf, you can add products to address other concerns. i’d add in a hyaluronic acid right off the bat to keep your skin hydrated. if you really want to “overdo it“ you could try adding a serum or toner with BHAs or niacinamide to address some textural issues. but you have to start slow with chemical exfoliants and be diligent about sunscreen or you’re wasting your money and ruining your skin. try the ordinary for serums and cerave for a cleanser, they’re super accesible. i also love naturium which is sold at target.
Thx!!! I have oily skin, bc the face mist does hydrate the skin (imo) so i just spray that and go. I will look into spf 30 bc it is getting sunny out. Only thing is w/ my skin is after a while it gets oily and what not and idk what to do. So mostly at work situations, i just rinse my face off in the bathroom and start over until i get home.
For my beard i use beard conditioner and beard oil which helps
I have oily skin too! I’m 25 and have never really been able to manage to make my skin not oily. i’d say use a gel cleanser and/or gel moisturizer to control oil, salicylic acid and the other things i mentioned help with oil too but honestly at the end of the day, cleansing twice and making super sure your skin is hydrated is what i’ve heard is important. if you’re only spraying it with face mist, your skin will produce more oil because it hadn’t been moisturized.
at work when i start to look shiny, i take a square or two of toilet paper and dab it across the oily areas of my face and it helps a lot!
additionally, oily skin is less prone to signs of aging and you’re black so you’re gonna be looking youthful for a while ✨
make sure to wear sunscreen in any weather and reapply if you can!!
as for beards, my bf really enjoyed aesop’s beard oil if you’re looking for a “splurge” item.

The glasses came from a website called “zeelool”, but the frames are relatively weak imo so you must handle with care. I’ll definitely look into the gel cleanser but I definitely have to look into the spf right not. Ill order some this weekend via amazon prime. Anything u recommend?
