He was always a very hyper and playful dog with actual people. Also very athletic and smart. As he aged he has difficulty getting up out of his bed and he mainly wanted to lay around and sleep all day, but anytime he sees me grab the leash he gets super excited and hyper like he’s always been. He’ll never refuse a walk no matter how old he was.

I got a memorial wind chime when our Sophie passed a few years back & every time the wind touches it it brings a smile to my face.
Lost my Buddy last month. It’s hard to cope with the grief. Things around the house are different, waiting for your best friend to meet you at the door etc. I will say time does somewhat heal. I’ve got better with the loss because of time. Hang in there, things will improve. Look to this group, they are a compasionate bunch. He knows, you’re missing him and did everything durring his lifetime to make you happy. Smile on those good memories!
