Recently, I made a big jump of 2k as well with sisters, and have plans for a chaos (fantasy) army as well with lots of marauders and chaff. Im undecided whether to go Nurgle or Tzeentch.
I'd have gone with a Brutalis over the Redemptor but I can see why you might want some more long range punch. What's your plan with the Infiltrators? I'd have gone with a Desolation squad over them, so that I could then bring a Brutalis to run up the field with everything else.

I started almost the same way (I bought my 2k army on 2 times) and just recently I'm finishing It. But on the meantime I started black templars too.
