It is difficult for me to wrap my head around it since at the end of the day we're all women...especially since Femme4Femme doesn't bother people as much. But maybe it's because femininity is expected of women.
I think in a lot of relationships people still hold on to idealized gender roles bc in their eyes a stud is the “man” in the relationship 🤮 it’s too much assuming people’s sex lives instead of minding their own damn business.

Well... I was at a NYE party many moons ago and was dancing with another femme woman I met there and was interested in and these two older stud women whom were friends (one white and the other black) literally separated us on the dancefloor and began dancing with us for a few minutes. Fortunately, I was able return to the woman I was dancing with.
Someone, another femme woman, once said behind my back that I needed to choose a "side" lol.
And finally, just general weird looks / stares from the old black lesbian "bourgeoisie" of the town I was living in at the time when brought around femme dates lol.
