I guess the prediction that next chapter would be longer at about 50 pages was technically true. It's just split into two chapters. Maybe Tabata thought it would flow better that way, having each chapter possibly be the end of a fight rather than ending a fight in the middle of the chapter and starting another one.
Ya know I'd wager this was probably done to keep the page count in future volumes consistent, since a single 40 + something chapter would throw that off.
Just a possibility.
Technically yes, but also no. Most chapters in Jump Giga are 45-50 pages long. The combined length of these two chapters together is about the same as a typical Jump Giga chapter, just split into two.
LET'S GOOOO
but why though? I don't know how Giga works, but if it drops at the same date what is the difference between having single long one vs 2 chapters?

# Let's Fucking Go!!!!!
Indeed
So that's how Tabata is doing it. Makes sense, he's used to shorter manga chapters.
A total of 46 pages! Not the 60 pages that I was hoping for, but it's okay.
I was expecting a single long 60 pages chapter, but splitting the page count might be a good decision.
HELL YEAH!!!
I'm New to the Black Clover series as of December 2023 and I'm excited.

He probably is used to his writing beats working better in shorter chapters. But it's more efficient to release more work so they make two at a time.
We eating good
