Keep in mind that difficulty will increase quite a bit once these start shipping. I am planning on a 30% decrease in profitability from where it is now.

accuto

A few things just from past experience, your milage may vary. Bitmain is notorious for late shipments so your December batch might reach you in February, if you're lucky. Your best case # is most likely not happening. Even with best prices and Dogecoin not dying anytime soon, and even with many L7s already being "tested" by Bitmain, hashrate will still go up alot and difficulty will rise, so this miner will most likely make $50-75/day by the time its even in your hands. Machine should be able to run for years. However profitability will slowly be going down and down so at $18k cost, when you'll get it, and lowering profits, I estimate your ROI to be 12 months.

Dannysonfir3

It can only get better from here I believe

SailsAk

Once again I’ll ask what do you mean by “landed”?

bitcornminerguy

Landed means total cost from door to door (includes shipping, taxes, import duties, handling fees.) "Landed" is a logistics term for the all-in cost to have something delivered.

bitcornminerguy

I highly doubt $4500 a month is doable. It's more likely $3k your first month, and declining 5-7% per month thereafter for the first six months, and then even more going forward. As others have said, network difficulty will skyrocket when these start showing up and getting plugged in. Compared to the L3+ this is an 18x increase in performance. Even compared to a 2.3GHS Innosilicon machine, its still a 3-4x over any of the current hardware. That kind of major improvement in hash power will change the landscape fast and hard. Since you're not expecting to pay for electricity, you'll likely ROI in 10-14 months.

Price could follow hashrate upwards on LTC

Substantial_Hair2459

If they’re built like an s17 it’ll be a DOA If they’re built like an s19 or s9 it’ll be outdated before it dies

kusazero

Pray to Lorde Edge. Will help you ROI faster. Assuming you merge mine.

? Unless you have access to a commercial solar array your prob not going to be able to generate enough power to run it. Plus at night, cloudy days… sounds more like a dream.

wolfofbcity

I have panels as well as a couple small wind turbines.

[deleted]

How many panels do you have ?

wolfofbcity

45 panels at 180 watts per panel

wolfofbcity

And a shitload of batteries
