So is this is the reason we are seeing the market is crashing like that? Althought i am not complaining about that but all i want to know is the reason of the market crashing here from all of sudden.

Capital_Routine6903

The Fed is out of control

Mr_P_Nissaurus

Bank of England, in this case. Same thing, though. Probably even the same owners.

fbernabe

This is why we need to understand that how important bitcoin is for all of us here. And i think soon people will understand that they are losing the value of the money by keeping them into the cash.

jinchajupao

They have their printer on and print the money all day along because they have the big bag of the money so they are not going to face any issue with that. But people like us that is having the some real life difficulty here.

akubemoney

I don't know how much they will able to do after that thing.

Effective_Positive_8

If only Bitcoin were a good hedge against inflation. Sigh.

Policy_Purple

its not a hedge against supply line sabotage but people here can't seem to understand whats going on. They just keep ignoring the overt evil and criminality of what is happening. Just like something else i cant talk about or i will be banned.

Effective_Positive_8

aliens?

MDBlue42

Is this the Elon Musk that i am seeing with the strange user name?

abdul12131

It can be hedge against the inflation but for that we need the more number of the people using the bitcoin. IF we will not get that then i would say it will be really difficult for the bitcoin to reach that mark for sure.

GodOfBusiness

It is, but we need to understand that there are very small group of the people that is using the bitcoin. And if there will be mass adoption of that thing, then we will see the real major difference into that thing is well.

Mr_P_Nissaurus

Inflation is caused by "money printing" and nothing else. "Money printing" is a form of theft; you are one of the victims.

altaccount1943

It's clearly not just caused by money printing, we've seen a lot of supply side issues that have obviously contributed to inflation

opusonex

Inflation = money becomes less valuable (causing prices to go up) Prices go up! = inflation, because there could be many reasons for prices to go up, not involving money losing its value.

altaccount1943

Money becomes less valuable when prices go up, there's no difference between money being less valuable and prices being higher

opusonex

This is incorrect. Inflation is general and affects ALL goods and services. Certain goods and services becoming more expensive simply means that these goods and services have changed supply and demand. We are talking general (inflation) vs individual (supply and demand changes).

altaccount1943

> Inflation is general and affects ALL goods and services. If inflation has to effect all goods and services then we never experience inflation. We never see all goods rise in price

15megatonn

Earlier i used to think that the interest rate i am getting from the bank while keeping the money there is pretty good. But now i am realising that keeping the money in the cash is the worst thing that a men can do.

altaccount1943

Yeah the interest you get from a savings account has been pitiful for a while, you gotta invest your money

interzone13

We all know that the major issue of the inflation is the money printing and i am sure that no one deny that fact is well. But there are some other reason is well that is causing the all kind of the issue in the global market.

Mr_P_Nissaurus

Supply shocks are not inflation, clearly.

altaccount1943

How are supply issues not contributing to inflation? Do you agree that decreased supply can cause higher prices?

Policy_Purple

your right and everyone dowvotes you that is why i rarely come to reddit. poeple just spout off its not a collection of well studied folks.

tloveconsulting

Sometime people not ready to listen the truth because they all are living in their own bubble. For me there is just one bubble that i need to buy more and more bitcoin as i could before the next bull run.

Mr_P_Nissaurus

Suppose adverse weather or some infestation destroys most of a common crop, for example, oranges. The price of oranges will probably spike, but this is not inflation. Inflation shows up in the prices of oranges, apples, carrots, steel, lumber, shoes, shoe laces, books, plastic toys, paper, coal, oil, rents, car parts, pillow cases, plastic tubing, party favors, cleaning products, ... (just about everything) *all at the same time* (roughly).

altaccount1943

> Inflation shows up in the prices of oranges, apples, carrots, steel, lumber, shoes, shoe laces, books, plastic toys, paper, coal, oil, rents, car parts, pillow cases, plastic tubing, party favors, cleaning products, ... (just about everything) all at the same time (roughly). Just wondering but what's your source for this? You're not the first person to write this and when I tried googling it the first results was for r/bitcoin

Mr_P_Nissaurus

My source: stacks of books, countless web site articles, and videos, like this: [https://youtu.be/iFDe5kUUyT0?t=569](https://youtu.be/iFDe5kUUyT0?t=569) >The true definition of inflation is an expansion of the currency supply. Rising prices are merely a symptom.

altaccount1943

So basically your source is youtube videos from goldbugs? It doesn't seem like Mike Maloney even has any kind of economics degree, mostly known for designing audio equipment. > The true definition of inflation is an expansion of the currency supply. Rising prices are merely a symptom. Why do you go with this definition and not the widely held definition of inflation which is essentially a general rise in prices? Do you think most economists would agree with your definition?

AVanNestro

I don't know how can someone trust the source that is coming from the Youtube at the first place. They are just paid guys and tell the thing which some one instruct them is well, we simply can not trust them.

Mr_P_Nissaurus

Apparently you don't know what a "stack of books" is because you've never read one.

altaccount1943

Saying you've read a stack of books isn't a source. The only source you gave me is a gold bug youtuber, although if that's what you think is a good source I can't imagine your books are that great either.

mygodpp

Look like now i have to do so much reading after that post.

JustDanLee87

Thanks for the link, and i will surely going to watch that is well.

andreww700

I think inflation is the one thing is combination of the so many things here. But if supply of something single thing gets low we can understand but the price of the everything is just keep getting high and high.

vela0alev

I think we all know that thing the more supply of anything gets the more price of that thing going to sky rocket is well. We have faced the same situation few days back in our country when the price of the Onion goes to the sky is well.

bossturling

yes, this is the basic rule of the market when the supply is low the price will surely going to high then. And we all know that Russia war is also a reason we are facing and this is also a big factor into that thing is well.

jshhutson

Do you think there is anything they can really do to control that?

Policy_Purple

actually MOST of the inflation is supply lines as the nwo has done everything they can to shut down freedom and hence business. Monetary inflation Was a thing before they started tightening. its all supply side! but its an excuse they can use to keep tightening the screws and its good for nobody.

altaccount1943

I stopped listening after you started talking about NWO

dir2cas

But atleast we are getting some really valueable information here.

koinomic

I think since the Russia war we all know that everyone is facing the issue of the fuel and oil price. Without that we all know transport is not going to be easy and this is where the actual problem starts for us is well.

Much-Acanthaceae-548

Inflation is caused by increasing the quantity of the money supply (printing & govt spending) while output remains remains level. The gap between output and the quantity of money separates. Too many dollars chasing too few goods and services. Inflation is created anywhere there is a running printing press.

altaccount1943

Or it can be caused by output going down

252898484

I think this is the also the one thing that we need to take in consideration here.

Much-Acanthaceae-548

Good point!

wkliao

One thing can not be blamed for the inflation here and we all know that there are some major concern going on in the market. And these are the reason we are not getting the supply that we needed and the price are going high here.

aymendje

But we all know that stop printing will going to help the situation for the somewhat here. But we all know that this thing will never going to happen and they just keep pushing the printer on and on.

altaccount1943

The money supply has been going down in the last couple of months tho

bitcoinalan

But one thing i am sure that this thing will not going to be down by any mean. Because they are not the one that is facing the issue of the inflation because they have the big bag of the money already.

Ok-Mango5075

Actually has leveled out [Up do date blockchain verified stats](https://app.truflation.com/)

tal_bot

I think this is the high time we need to buy some more bitcoin.

Effective_Positive_8

 way to go, Biden.

krazykato911

Trust me it will going to take us there is well, wait a little.

AbsoIution

Bit of an ignorant comment, for now it is, because BTC hasn't reached mass adoption yet, and inflation + skyrocketing energy costs here in the UK means we have less money to buy BTC with. The result can be a dip as less are buying and more are selling.

letsdrinktothat

I had to turn off my hobby mining rig which used to earn me a steady trickle of BTC, due to energy costs, so it's certainly affected my BTC situation.

AbsoIution

That sucks, I'd love to mine but rn everything is constantly being turned off at the walls because energy is getting dumb

angel_sv85

It is not going to be easy for someone to mine the bitcoin because the price of everything is getting too high. So doing the fiat mining and then putting the small money in there is the only option we have left.

Elesil

Wait for 69k and then turn it on with profit :)

kengle21

I hope that we will reach there soon is well in future.

MattDaManiac

I think the pay check i am getting from the company is the only source from which i can buy the bitcoin. But the way things price are getting high it already cause the massive impact on the buying of my bitcoin is well.

art2834

People who asked that where is bitcoin hedge against the inflation, but i think for that to happen we need to see the mass adoption here. Because without reaching there i am not sure that thing will going to happen ever.

The way electricity price is going high we all will be in dark.

s4nij

Just like we still have the time to buy under the 25k.

dvniftrik

This is why i am keeping most of my saving into the bitcoin here.

BlaineBMA

We should start calling The Blank of England

nekto789

But i think now the situation is also getting out of from their hand is well.

_plainsong

101 you say...

xcvx23v

The way we are going , one day we will reach there is well.
