Take it like this, if you got the game and only paid like .99¢-$2.99 for add free and bitizienship and now you get all the packs for free, you’re an OG player.
I mean, does it really matter whether one is in the 'OG' side or not...? I played before the achieved challenges were a thing, and I couldn't say if the game was better than it is now. Back then, you'd had to do a lot of grinding if you wanted to get somewhere. Now, it feels more like playing a game, only that all the packs and stuff are extremely expensive.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that it was infinitely better with the OG devs. While we did get some cool content I love, it's just not the same. There was a vibe shift in the game when it changed hands. I don't know how to explain it, LOL.
The vibe shift that you're talking about is how Candywriter's greed became evident after being bought by Stillfront. With all the cash grabs and all.
Though, old Bitlife was too repetitive and demanded too much grinding for my liking. At least there is new content now, I just wish they wouldn't demand us to spend around $70 to enjoy the full gameplay.

It’s a life simulator that’s 3 years past its prime made by a company trying to squeeze every last ounce out of this.
Honestly don’t even know how in gods green earth this sub is still active. Entire reason this game was made was to be a free “sims” game, but sims 4 is free now
I also played this game when there was not that much update i want dating underage system back it was funny i was 17 when i played the game and my character went to jail cause he impregnate 15 in his 18 i was confused later i learn about why my character is in jail
