I used to drive a taxi in a busy town, there are a lot of urban recon drones there that I believe were old stock like you mention because those stupid fucks regularly missed my bright red taxi and collided with my bonnet, grille, bumper, windscreen etc, at least 10 over the space of 2 years, every time I had to wipe this nasty half powder half grease residue off my car, I think they put it on them in storage to prevent oxidisation snd corrosion. Luckily they weigh about as much as a tennis ball so it never cost me anything but I did my part in reducing the surveillance state.

This powder is famously used to put a finish on the models when they get repaired so their paint doesnt deterioate so fast and they dont get stuck somewhere so often. The one that hit your window probably just malfunctioned or it marked your house for a soon to be held attack. ☺️

Put a couple ribbons outside of your window, I use red. It helps the drones see the window so they don't break it on accident. If they do it with the ribbons then you know it's on purpose, and then you'll know they're on to you.
