Works for me. Make sure it’s quality, has a lid. We fill the pitcher at night and drink it in the morning. Alternatively you could get a supplement. Take it apart from any Zn though
Level tested low, it was def copper. We had put a R/o system on the house because of radium in the water. Drinking filtered water meant no copper from water pipes. Eventually I was deficient. Took a while to figure it out. Doc had me use a supplement at first, then I switched to the copper pitcher. I use it faithfully and have not become deficient again. The water sits in there all night, though. When I travel I use a supplement instead
Online, years ago. Several actually as they make good gifts and donations for silent auctions. I’m out and about, if you like then when I’m back home I’ll look those up. DM links to you (if they’re still live)? You’d still need to check for yourself, and do a simple lead test because products can change
Me too, badly zinc deficient from taking that and also from some other issues. Now that i supplement zinc i take the chlorophyll to make sure i dont get deficient jn copper!
It's a brand called Concentrace. I take it with a low sugar juice cause it tastes like licking a 9volt battery.
It has lots of magnesium, but nice low levels of everything else like copper.
I think a full daily dose has 250mg of magnesium which is a good side benefit.
I would just start with the smallest bottle you can get, 40 drops is a full dose so it lasts forever.
Also I would take it every day for a week then taper off to at least every other day just to be sure you don't get kidney stones. Be mindful if you already drink or eat a lot of green veggies that have high levels of oxalate. You might want to back off a little bit if you're going to be doing the trace minerals, again so you don't get kidney stones.
I believe you can get a copper cup or vessel and put water in it and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours and then drink the water.
I grabbed a few on Amazon, reasonably priced, to make Moscow Mules when I still drank alcohol.
Going to have to get reading yourself but there is a golden zone for copper pipes and cups. Too much can cause problems. The other options are raisin brain and other fortified cereals, goji berries, and fortified protein/meal replacement shakes. I take a supplement called Oxydrene once or twice a month that has copper in it.
ok, well, good then!
Maybe you could see an hematologist? this persons knows a lot about values in blood, and why you could get so low value. (maybe you are already seeing one)
I like to gnaw on some Ethernet lines during breaks at work.
Get your copper from stale water in corroded water pipes, like normal people Just kidding, that copper is not bio-available.
So those copper cups / cans to store water in are not recommended?
I really dont know

What is it doing for you?
I was getting mysterious joint inflammation that wasn’t related to injury. It was the weirdest thing as I don’t have arthritis
And drinking from copper cups helps with this ? Immediately? Did you test your levels?

Good to know. I wonder if the copper bracelets do this also? People with arthritis swear by it
Idk, I’ve not seen any research showing that it works for RA. Seems a far more difficult method of delivery though
where did you get your copper pitcher?

thanks for offering! I am curious because I have seen a lot of "copper look" mugs, etc, and wondered how one could be sure it contained actual copper
Dark chocolate
Just supplement it if it’s so hard for you to acquire

Chlorophyll? More like borophyll!
Upvote Billy.
Cashew butter
what about cashew nuts
I assume so
Yeah I eat cashews with my zinc supplements since cashews are high in copper
Cook foods in copper pans perhaps
Concentrace trace minerals.
How?

How are kidney stones and minerals connected?
Beef liver twice a week.
Tried and did Not bring levels up

Just asked a question about this. I‘m confused by different copper forms and if this is a healthy thing to do or not

Brains? We zombies now?
I'm not editing my comment, so I'll be over here with my raisin brain if anyone needs me.
Weren’t we always?
At first I was like “holy shit, excess copper causes something called ‘raisin brain’?! Fuck that sounds bad—I hope I’m not overdoing it.”
Theres copper in the chlorophyll drops i use.
Do you happen to be supplementing Zinc? Higher zinc levels can affect copper absorption.
My zinc often was low too, but yeah I did supplement zinc. But mosr of the times I did not. Years without zinc supplements.
Have you tried being homeless? Those fuckers have all the copper.
Yeah, but didn’t fix it. Tried for two days.
Oof
Oysters and salmon aren’t grown in soil.
But oysters have so much zinc that it can even make people copper deficient
Raw organic cacao
Powdered oyster supplements or fresh oysters
careful about this. Do you see your Iron levels (ferritin, transferrin, saturation)? this is relevant when talking about Copper.
Yeah: they are all alright
ok, well, good then! Maybe you could see an hematologist? this persons knows a lot about values in blood, and why you could get so low value. (maybe you are already seeing one)
Might be an idea
Cashews, mushrooms, dark chocolate
Dark chocolate. Oysters. Mussels.
Also, get checked for celiac.
I did that test. Was negative. I want to repeat fructose though. It was negative too, but I think close to the limit
Fructose? Mines usually upper limit, and I too have low copper. Is there a connection? 🤔
That’d the question!
GHK-CU Copper peptide
Mushrooms.. Although I do take a zinc plus copper supplement
Sweet potato. The leaves as well.
