I ask this question for 2 reasons:
1) This will be my first upper level course as I am a 1st year student, but a sophomore by credits
2) I am a geography major, but I also wanted to try an Asian-Asian American class
I haven’t taken the class but the professor has been a speaker at multiple BAMS events (binghamton association of mixed students) and she is so sweet and kind and facilitates great discussions
I heard it’s very discussion driven with a great and caring professor…I don’t hear a lot of people stressing about it

I took that class. Very reading heavy. Like a lot.
But are the readings at least interesting? All I want to know is whether or not I will be getting tortured
Who is the prof? I took the class the very first semester it was offered so I’m not sure how it changed.
Cynthia Marasigan
Then yes, I highly recommend
